You might as well just buy a movie instead of ME2, really there is no difference except the movie might be better scripted and last longer.

No not anymore. After watching the new dev diaries I'm just not that impressed anymore. I hope it goes well and you all enjoy it, but I think I'll pass. There is a whole bunch of other games coming out that have caught my interest more than this one. Shame really, I would have bought it if it was released on the original date, now there are too many other games I like more. Last year was a real dry spell for me, there was sweet FA games I liked, so AP would of been a must buy.

Meh I cancelled my pre-order and put the money on Lost Planet 2 CE pre-order. At least I know what I will get. Pretty much not going to bother too much with this game any more. If its in the shops and I have the money I'll get it. Oh, nice April fools :D Well played good sir.

EBGames has no info on the CE. But they will take pre-order money for it.

Well take a look at Gearbox and Borderlands. Very similar situation for 2K. New IP and a huge shift in art direction in the 11th hour and pre-orders where not that high. It clocked in 3 million sales last week. One hopes AP can match half that number. The interesting thing is that Borderlands sales increased by one million after Gearbox started rolling out the DLC, which had some very nice content for its price, unlike the crap Bioware is currently trying to pass off as DLC. One hopes that both Sega and Obsidian take a gander at what Gearbox is doing because they have found a very nice niche market for their game and are making some huge returns.

There is still no information on Australian pre-order bonuses and CE. Considering I pre-ordered my CE for AP last month I would really like to know what I've blindly thrown my money down on. Surely its not too much to ask...

There is a CE. I put $30 pre-order on it without even knowing what content it has. I have faith that Obsidian will deliver and Sega will rip me off :D

They say in the article, which was posted on the Feb. 9th, it will be a March release, and if you can not find it in the shops you have not looked hard enough. What is that all about? Why would IGN say that if its not true? I just don't get it, if its not true then they should not say it. May be one of the dev. actually took notice of that commie bastard...

Thank you for posting. At least we know its still alive...unlike the M E franchise which was summarily executed with the release of a poor excuse for a FPS, let alone a RPG, called ME 2!

Thanks for replying. I'll guess I'll just have to be patient and hope for the best. Its not that hard TBH. There is nothing in the upcoming releases, by way of RPGs, that comes close to AP. I just hope Sega understands that there is a market for this game. I've never bought a Splinter Cell game and I never will! I'd buy AP no problems.

I have a little dilemma which Sega is not making any easier. I only have so much spare time to play games. There are a whole bunch coming out over the next couple of months, including AvP in mid-February. I would really like to have AP on the list of to buy and play games but without a release date I might as well get AvP and forget about AP if it comes out in March. Can some one please have the common decency to at least tell us when or even if this game will be released. As it stands I might as well take this page off my favorites and forget about AP altogether and get on with my gaming... My apologies for making another release date thread but this is really bad PR on the publishers side.

If the game is being released then you will know a month beforehand by the flood of promos for the game. I have a suspicion that this game is now vapourware unfortunately. Anyone remember Dungeon Hero? Both games were due out around the same time and DH is now vaopurware. I hope I'm wrong and everything works out, the game looks great and I'll be getting it for sure. Still, ME 2 next week, so the game will once again drop off my radar. I remember telling all my friends about it last year in April...
