  1. I have to say I kind of give up on Bioware. I'm just not interested in Dragon Effect II. Good luck with that and all, I'll just read the LP threads on it. There are SO many ways they could have expanded upon this universe and just ignored it, to make yet another Action Game. Alas poor Bioware, I knew you well....
  2. After playing 4 months of Star Trek online when it came out, I don't have any interest in this at all. Maybe after a few years it might be something ...... interesting. Cryptic and Atari love to rush out incomplete and rushed MMO's sadly.
  3. Is there an option to turn off the horrible quest compass in the options menu?
  4. Yes. However 3.0 edition or 4.0 edition?
  5. Playing the Ultima 6 Project. Enjoying it immensely.
  6. Do you understand what exactly a Malkavian is? If you understand that pay very close attention to your dialogue. It is the most brilliant dialogue ever written for a specific class in a RPG to date.
  7. Yeah those instructions got it running for me as well.. no problems at all. Copying those 4 line in the .ini to the .ini in the U6 folder did the trick. You will have an absolute blast with Lazarus. Music, dialogues, everything is just done so well.
  8. Good question, I still have my Dungeon Siege: LOA copy that I got for dirt cheap because my roommate at the time worked for M$ and could shop at the M$ store. I assume there has to be some cheap copies floating around there somewhere. And also Dungeon Siege works fine (for me) in Windows 7 (32 bit). And here is a few screenies: Dialogue Interface http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i45/Jaes...reenShot039.jpg It's just not an Ultima without the cards http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i45/Jaes...reenShot040.jpg Gypsy camp http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i45/Jaes...reenShot062.jpg Our good friend Lord British http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i45/Jaes...reenShot064.jpg

  10. At first I raged and was upset with the new art direction of the remake, and then I got over it. It is worth it, and as someone already said you can also play it in classic mode too. Also the new Tales of Monkey Island were also a lot of fun to play too.
  11. Even for free I still wouldn't be interested in Playing WoW again. Boring grind/get loot game is boring.
  12. It's like Bioshock, minus the interesting environments. hmm looks fairly... interesting. Maybe when it hit's the bargain bin I might give it a try.
  13. The sheer fact they backed down and are allowing the craploads of hard work these people already did for this game is quite commendable. Though Activision are still on my crap list... unless they approach Obsidian for a new Vampire: Masquerade game.
  14. Holy crap! To Our Fans: They say lightning never strikes twice, but once again, you
  15. Finally playing The Witcher. It's quite nice so far. And dear gawd! If ONLY NWN2's camera was as good as The Witchers is.... *sigh*
  16. The music on there now is refreshingly relaxing... mmmmm
  17. Fairly good review of it here: http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,8 For 10$, sound like it might be a fun little play though. Thanks for the suggestion!
  18. Syberia and Syberia II are 50% off this weekend. Seriously, if you have never played this you are missing out. It is one of the best "Adventure" games with an interesting story to come out in a long, long, long time.
  19. Holy... wow. Rest in peace Michael.
  20. Interesting... Did Activision finally cave in and let them release it?
  21. I'm completely and openly gay, most of the older posters here know that. While I don't have a problem forced to play a heterosexual character, as long as the sexual parts of the game are minimal, or avoidable. Say for example TNO in Torment was basically a straight guy, but there was no overt sexual content that really turned me off. Geralt however is supposed to be a "Ladies Man" and loves the ladies, so that pretty much kept me away from this. Though if I recall correctly, the whole b00bie card thing can be avoided, thankfully. Anyways, for seven damn bucks, I should at least give it a try...
  22. Just picked up The Whispered World and The Witcher. I've been putting off The Witcher for a long long time, as I don't think I will enjoy it (over-sexed uber heterosexual guy + b00bie cards). But for 7$ freaking dollars I thought oh what the hell.
  23. For some damn reason, I'm going through a point and click adventure game phase... Since I was already raised on the classics I stumbled upon http://www.adventuregamers.com/ they had a pretty good list and review of games. Finished Dark Fall: The Journal and Dark Fall: Light's Out (found them for $5.99 each at GOG) and just had an absolute blast playing them. I'm downloading Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon (on sale at adventuregamers) as that sounded interesting to me.
  24. What about the boobie cards?
  25. Same here. Does look interesting.
