Fynnoch. I have no idea why, it just sounds jazzy. Oh, dunno if anyone's going to have planned something like this out yet, but would a Strength-based dual-wielder be viable? While I know the Berserker's going to be handing out the damage in utter spades, I'd like to be aware of how much Dexterity I'd have to put in to make him a useful dual-wielder. A sword-and-board Berserker doesn't really make sense to me, but I'll go that route if I need to.

Wow, am I the only person that went with Brick? Man's an absolute powerhouse, punching stuff to death has never been more fun! The bosses were absurdly easy for some reason, even with the fairly lacklustre AI.

Like I said, I'd pay good money to just sit and watch the most-likely cinematic glory of Angron going absolutely apes**t for an hour and a half. I shouldn't have laughed when he burst out of the rubble in Galaxy in Flames, but I did. And it was good. I should probably stop surfing 1d4chan, it reminded me too much of an Angry Marine version of the 1d4chan Kharn @overseer: Is it one of the three people I think it is? Or is that guess way out?

Off-topic, but I just recognised the card in your sig, overseer But yeah, concerning Horus Heresy, I can't wait until I get to whichever one of the books has an Ultramarine and a World Eater on the same ship. I was grabbed when my stepdad gave me an excerpt along the lines of the World Eater, sat at the table where battleplans are being discussed and "twitching with bloodlust". Which reminds me, I really should be reading more of the books than I am at the moment.

I'm not sure if that was Shale. Fairly sure the portrait was where the PC's normally would be, so it might have been a transformation. You can specialize at level 7 (which I doubt they did but whatever), they're level 8, that means at best they have two ranks in shapeshifting, of which neither is a golem. Aye, but I'm sure the PC was either a Dwarf and/or a Noble, which leads me to believe that one of the spells accessible to mages might be to apply a different form to other party members. Naturally, though, I could be completely wrong, but I'm pretty sure the PC's portrait had changed to that of a golem, so...

Heard about that one. I don't understand how it can be so difficult to keep pace with a Claptrap. I want to shoot Claptrap so bad. I know the feeling. The rescues only give me the crappiest grenade mods now. Me and a friend tried beating one over the head (such as it is). Didn't work, just some sparks

Just 1000G'd this fantastic piece of game. Funnily enough, I've not encountered a single glitch. The end boss is quite disappointing, especially considering how easy it is to kill via one of FPS gaming's maxims, but it's great fun nonetheless. Roll on DLC.

Brutal Legend, Red Faction: Guerrilla and Dead Space. Bloody glad I'm not playing Red Faction for the story. Really enjoying Brutal Legend, the subject matter's right up my street so the fact that the storyline was about 5 or 6 hours didn't bother me. Dead Space hasn't really lived up to the scariness hype, but it's not too shabby a game.

How the hell did this get to 4 pages? Was there a debate about communism?

I actually really enjoyed this. Far-future vikings, what the hell isn't to like? Honestly, with people bitching and moaning about the controls, I thought they were going to ruin the hell out of enjoying the game. Funnily enough, they didn't. Ranged combat's a little on the tricky side, but I play a Berserker so shooting things isn't high on my list of priorities. The camera's a little dodgy too, but it's a fairly easy thing to get past. EDIT: Oh, and on the subject of the story, it's basically Ragnarok but with some of the key "players" being introduced in a slightly more vague manner than the mythology does it.
