Forgot about wearing a "Ring of Nixperience", which meant my anime boy band were gaining xp, but not tallying it up to gain levels in FFXV, so actually had about 490k XP. Took it off, slept the night at the high class resort, and gained 31 levels in one go.

That's them standard demographic questions at work for you. Although I apparently picked up a couple of bonus marks for including multiple options beyond "Male/Female" under the gender, and having "prefer not to say" under most of the rest. You go do an Applied Computing degree, and you end up having to pick up basic sociology questionnaire skills for your grades....

Right, as some of you might have picked up, I've been buried in the return to university to finish off my interrupted degree, and am in the middle of conducting a research paper for my "final year". Since we're hitting an interesting point where we have a mix of people who have grown up with the Internet, and people who still remember life before the internet, I'm curious to see what patterns might emerge from looking at peoples awareness, attitudes, and general behaviours in regard to internet privacy and the question of owning your own data. Doodling around with FFXV, and taking way too much time wandering around, hunting and doing side quests for the story to actually unlock... Noticed that I was suddenly losing GB's of empty space on my system hdrive. Then found out that somewhere between the updating of NVidia stuff, and installation of FFXV, it had auto switched on that Highlights and been taking video of my in-game moments whenever the game thought I was doing "awesome" stuff.

I'm being somewhat impressed in odd sense. FF XV has been unpacking for over two and a half hours, and apparently still has approximately 50 minutes to go....

SInce I got a money off coupon dropped on me and I needed a break, I did splurge on the FF XV for Windows... that wait for it all to unlock. Heh, I haven't played an FF game since.. hm, probably about 18 years and FF7...

Get this semesters bursary tomorrow, and while sorting out my budget I idly looked at graphics cards since mine is about 4 years old now and starting to fade. I had not realised how the price of graphics cards has jumped up ridiculously due to the cryptocurrency thing. Yeesh.

Indeed. Of course, I actually quite liked the tv show that ran for about 6 years (once you got past the slightly ropey 1st season). Ah well, like so many things, we shall see when it appears.

At least the NHS provides a base level of medical support. If you don't want to deal with the potential waiting lists, you can spend money on private medicine... And it's still less expensive than the "standard" across the US.
