Just found out one of my friends in the states got fired for attendance issues due to medical leave, since their FMLA paperwork got rerouted and can't be submitted retroactively. The case worker apparently then told them that it wasn't their job to follow up on the paperwork and it was my friends responsibility to actually make sure it had turned up on schedule.

Now that's a way to do the Easter bunnies...

I might have made a minor mistake. Got hold of an English translation of some Chinese Wuxia story..that is apparently over 400 chapters long, and I started reading it before bed last night. Sleep... did not happen. Of course, there's all sorts of oddities to it, so I'm not sure if thats due to the authors writing, the translators translation, or all the cultural cues I'm not picking up.

I did debate putting this one in the politics thread... How biased is your news source?
