I don't think so, they still haven't released on 2 platforms so their priorities have been bugfixing and getting Mac OS and Android out. There's still a ton of stuff they've promised to implement, matchmaking, cross-platform cloud saves etc. So there's (hopefully) a lot of stuff coming on that side. Oh, and they've updated the opening movie with the quote they'd removed.

No issues on a ipad3 even in original release. It's supposed to be better now. I think the lowest spec ipad (not sure if it was 1 or 2) comes with a warning to "save and reboot often" due to limited memory at the moment, but they're currently reworking file access to make the game more tablet friendly and less dependent on RAM.

That's actually a pretty good idea. Been ages since I've last played it. Any issues with modern systems? Hmm dunno, i'm running it on an XP computer. My Win 7/win 8 computer is a week away. First Decade version patched to whatever the last patch was back in the day. Hmm, I actually think I have that first decade set as well, in addition to the original releases. Will have to take a looksee. Only have 7 now...

I am interested if there are differences compared to the PC version during gameplay, so keep us updated. Such as? There's some (obvious) differences in controls due to a lack of mouse, but apart from that the two versions are pretty much identical and can actually play multiplayer together. I haven't been playing much, due to the ipad having been 2 versions behind in codebase, but it's been tons of fun so far. Haven't been home in over a month, so have minimal time on the windows version (my only windows rig is at home).

Ipad version is now up to the most recent release. Yay.

I'm like 35 kilos overweight (but already lost 7 from the worst moment a couple of months ago), so I'm starting a lot further down the valley than you, so to speak. My cousin's husband, a former scholarship sprinter recently got himself back into super shape in his late 40s. He's gonna help me with my workouts after next week.

Semi-decent day at work. Can be pretty relaxed now that I know it is ending, which seems to rub off on other people and make the whole thing a bit easier. Got the lease on my new apartment, but I'd be lying if I said that moving to a new city to be a "street lawyer" didn't frighten me

Heh, was wondering when you'd post something like this - eh if they have it on principle to not bother with Ubisoft due to their DRM scheme (or just loathing the company like me), no need to compromise that just on Obsidian's behalf. And any sales they lose to this line of thought will be more than made up by the rest of the consumers that don't care or think Ubisoft are a great customer focused company. Hardly throwing Obsidian under the bus, besides they have Kickstarter. Headpalm

While I'm on Red Eclipse, I've been out since late November. Might get something done when my holiday starts in a week, might get some done when I start the new job, might not play it again.

Another one of those days when everybody at work is infallibly polite and even nice to me, after completely flying off the handle yesterday and friday. So instead of actively unpleasant, work environment is now simply scary. Haven't been sleeping much, either. Different reasons, I suspect. We've been having clear skies for a couple of days, all the wonderful light is great.

Nice, do you do a bit of mixing?I did, once upon a time. I got this one mostly for nostalgia... And to digitise my vinyl only releases, as I've felt like doing it again, this time with a laptop and a controller...

That's ****ing awful, Shryke, I feel bad for you. Meanwhile, situation at work is escalating again and even HR is unilaterally siding with me. Still, I basically need beta blockers to be able to work. As an upside, I scored a "mint" Technics sl1210mk2 turntable off ebay. Got it today, and it was, indeed, mint. Awesome unit.

This seems to be just a strategic move to break away from the European holding company. It makes sense as the USA division was profitable Yeah, and there's a fairly important difference between "bankruptcy" and "chapter 11". I wish US would move it to a different part of the code to make dramatic headlines harder.

Wondering which Atari holds the Baldur's Gate IP...

That was part of a larger issue in me2, practically all romanceable npcs had most of their character development disappear if you chose not to pursue a virtual relationship with them...

More drama at work. I did learn that you can't dig yourself out of a hole. Apart from that, I'm so glad to be rid of this place. Apparently, the feeling is mutual.

Finally managed to find the right spot to tap for a room in bg1, so I'm back on the ipad version (for reference, the patch currently in approval is supposed to have more intelligent tap-and-click recognition, for which I've been waiting). Only at Friendly Arm, will see what happens next.

We also have a version if that with my parents, we all worry about each other. Dad's 75 this year... Mutual keeping an eye on each other

Interesting. It's a version behind the standalone/beamdog versions due to an extra round of approvals at Atari. If mac passes internal testing today, it gets submitted to Apple. Ipad is already out, but the patched version is still in Apple approvals.

Letäs count on that. :D

Small enough to fairly reliably ID myself, if I post it here. :D Probably natural to have second thoughts at this point, but it's a job, not a prison sentence, so I can always just leave, if it goes completely to hell. I'll see what happens.

Meanwhile, I'm at work, so tired I could actually just fall asleep at my desk. Guess it's a few months of old stress leaving the body, and being replaced with new stresses (finding an apartment, moving to a new city pretty far from friends and family, taking a 30 % cut on my base salary, but now with a percentage of all the money I bring in...) Also, as its not a (major) campus town, finding educated young ladies is going to be, if not impossible, certainly a lot harder than here. ****.

Another patch: Too bad the mac version isn't still out, but I can wait for it. Also, I'm sure a lot of people who consider themselves "old school" will be happy (as if that were possible) over the green rings toggle, but I really liked the new system after I got used to it (basically your character rings and walk targets are no longer "green", but instead in your characters main colour. A small useability improvement, but neat.)
