man mine was talking up to 20 minutes but I have some really massive builds and as you said lots of garbage that I didn't or couldn't pick up due to it falling under the map. Pic is of my first of hopefully many great monuments I'm placing around the yard. Currently working on the very top of the hedge house side. Took 9 hours today just to get up there lol

they seem to have drop zones. One is at the ant hill. Found 3 there over the course of playing the update and they were in different spots right around or on the hill. A spot out in the western desert area close to stinkbugs and the other is right next to a footprint by but not the one's next to the mysterious machine. It's got kinda like cliff on one side facing the oak tree. And I've yet to find where the other drop spot(s) are for when he lands on the bird bath

I think your issue is that one of the patches they made was that if you remove something amd it has no structural effect then everything from that up that is attached is destroyed

I had this happen to me. But game auto saved and when I loaded back in I was able to then take them apart just fine

So did I. I found mine in the desert area by the stink bugs next to the stacked rock just north of the rake. Where did you find yours?

Have you seen the crow yet? It scared the crap out of me! I look up and their is this Giant! As much as i wanted animals now I release just how scary something of that size would actually be if it was after you. Hahahaha

The Crow scared the crap out of me lol Berry's float now but can't swing ax in water so can't get them. Other then that so far no other issues to report. Great job guys.

Thank you so much. You just saved me so much time in just loading my games. I was originally waiting almost 30 minutes to load up games and after the update my game was loaded in less then 2 minutes. Now to jump in amd explorer and find out what fun stuff you added for us!!

Not much to start but I figured I would share

Wow!!!! That's crazy. I just built a spiral stair case in creative mode that finally reached the top of the tree and that took me like 2 and half hours. I'd love to see a picture of where you're at now?

Lol. Im right there with you. Im sure I have them all over as well. Are you finding different kinds of arrows all over the yard on your save? I know there not mine and I haven't had other people play on my save but I must have found like 50 of them so far scattered everywhere across the yard

me and my friends were talking about this as well. I think pet's that are let into the back yard would be a good and fairly easy one to add as a threat that you must escape from. or rat's and so on.

All I've noticed is that it just adds to your load times. It hasn't slowed my game down any more then a fresh load. But i also try and pick up everything off the ground(plant fibers, dry grass, building materials and tufts) to not have to many item's the game is trying to load in on my map I would do it if I was you. And you should do so, please post pictures so I can see your progress. Curious to see where you're planning on putting a too.

And that I think you did. I know we have all been thinking of ways to fly around the map in this game and I honestly thought it was going to be by taming a flying insect. But you worked out a very simple but yet not to easy to get method of doing just that and keeping to the basic building blox of the game. This game reminds me of 2 of my favorite childhood 1 of course Honey I shrunk the kids and the cartoon Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. They always made cool things out of the stuff they would find laying around.

so I've spent many hours building as I'm sure many of you has as well. Well in doing so I've noticed a lot of the time stuff like grass planks, clover leaves and wood steams just fall trough the dirt, rocks or stepping stones like there is no structure to the map itself at all. I've now gotten in the habit of only setting stuff down on a structure I've built because of 2 reasons. 1. I dont want to lose the resources I'm trying to collect. And 2. And for me I think the most important reason. Where does it go? Is it forever falling like when you or a backpack load in and do the free fall bug under the map? And if so is my save file trying to remember where all this stuff is and adding to my already massive game file? For example why my game takes more the 20 minutes to load already. Load time is not an issue for me. I know I've done it to myself by building so much. Now I know this is still VERY early in the Alpha stages of this game and bugs need to get fixed. But this is waying on my little survivors mind hard

I'm in the same boat. But I've gotten used to it. I just put on a TV show on my phone and let it play. And I know that the more I build in game the longer the load time will take. I'm at about 22 minutes right now.

such an awesome idea with lots of time and thought put into it. Fingers crossed they see this and adapt your idea to the game.

I really hope they have something in mind for some sort of boat to traverse across the pond faster

okay so I know I can't be the only one to be building great monuments in their game. Something that is not a base but can be seen from most anywhere in game. Please share here so I can see what great things are being built. Mine I built took me almost 3 full days. Mind you it's all in single player mode so I had to chop and carry all the grass myself. Also shout out to the game designers!!! No game has ever hooked me so fast for such a long time. I've reached my record game play time with 36 hours with this game thanks to no life due to Covid and a lot of Red bull (would have kept playing for God's know how long but I was having in game issues so I saved and quit and when I tried to restart it wouldn't load my game back up and had to start all over again. That's when I decided to forget the base I was building and build my great monument. Side note.... it's with this new save that I've learned that I just should have been more patient and waited longer then 5 minutes for the game to load.(lol, what can i say i was tierd and brain dead)This new save takes at least 15 minutes to load up and won't load up the auto saves only the log out or my saves. Otherwise it freezes up in loading.

So we need to have more options with the stuff we have already. I was thinking a 1×1 and 2×1 of clay for sure needs to be added and a corner connection for ramps. For grass Inverted triangle walls would be great too. Also need to have half walls and floors. As for the weeds not to much I have run into yet. Maybe windows that you can close to keep out the flying threats from getting in in grass and weed form. Maybe add a weed floor type as well for us that want to make just a wooden structure.
