    Well there are different Kill Taken Ultras quests on each planet, and they can all be active at once since most of them are side missions.

    It's been the same since Demon's souls. You have an item to put your sign down for coop, you have an item to invade randomly and you have an item to put a sign that means you want to fight another player. They've played with other ideas: covenants, arenas, sin, policing invaders,... but the core remains the same in all souls games and bloodborne. It's PVE first with some random coop and maybe some PVP here and there, no matter what some fanatics demand. And there was always plenty of signs and invasions in all of games at their peaks. Demon's souls had 4 different versions a that were published months apart and it was ps3 only ( which was great), so it might have seemed that there weren't that many players wanting to coop, even if they would have been in summon range.

    It's bungie's weird design with all this light in year 2. YOu can get exotics with light level 310 only after you're over light level 300 but every vendor sells 280 gear. Suffer suffer the player must. Maybe you'll have more luck once they release any new update to light level, since you'll have the game goal as everyone else upgrading. Each of those bosses has their own spawn location. I think they one you're after is at Skywatch on Earth. So patrol and then left until you can't go left anymore. :D Bartimaeus, it's Demon's souls territory so of course it's better than Dark games.

    I need to organize all my documents (and porn) before i upgrade to Win 10. So sometime in June. @Katphood very nice. SO i guess the pig was no problem either. :D And the next boss you'll probably have trouble with is far far away, hidden. :D

    That's destiny for you. Though for some Exotic i do recommend visiting https://www.bungie.net/en/Armory before you try to reroll to see if you can even get what you want. Some armor will always have certain type of bonus like only Str or Str+Int, never Int+ Disc.

    Well the light level can be upgraded with infusing armor with higher light into it. The Int, Str and discipline however need another item to reroll, and that's being sold by xur as well. Glass needles. 250 Glimmer, 10x Armor Materials, and 1x Glass Needle needed for one reroll though it can get worse. Also i recommend you to buy some Three of coins from xur if you can afford them. Those things increase the odds of getting an Exotic when you kill and Ultra in a mission or strikes and in a pvp match. Don't use more than 1 at once. If you want a farming tip, there a mission to kill a Gatelord on Venus. Use the TOC, go there , kill it and immediately depart to orbit. If done right you'll have a checkpoint right before he spawns so you can repeat the process. No one knows exactly hgow they've tweaked TOC to work these days, but it farmed about 3-5 consecutive kills and then came back a half an hour later and repeated the process. But i had 50 TOCs so if you go and kill a gatelord every half an hour or whenever you can think of , you might get lucky with your limited resources too. There is also a faster farming that starting a missing then going to orbit and back into the mission again. That one is in the mission Scourge of Winter also on Venus. You farm Draksis by lowering his health as low as it need to be, then blowing yourself up in his vicinity with a rocket launcher so that both of you perish. If done correctly you respawn with him alive and you repeat the process.

    When does Xur usually show up? I never see him around the Tower. I probably have a whole bunch of strange coins. I never use them, but every now and then see that I'd earned them either through an engram, or a completed event. Friday at reset time and he stay until Sunday reset time. 1am PST i believe. He has 6 locations he spawns at the Tower and he used to have one or so in the Reef, but i don't he spawns there anymore.

    NP. I just wanted you to explore the first area thoroughly so you can discover as much a possible so that you'll want to do the same everywhere in the game. Lots of good stuff is hidden after all. Do you have the version with or w/o the DLC? I'm asking because while the DLC is meant for higher levels, you can actually enter is quite early and it changes the dynamic of the game in your favor, but i'm not really sure what kind of a player are you. edit: oh and Ghostofanakin how many strange coins do you currently have? Xur has good armor (13 strange coins a piece) for either Hunter or Warlock and Hawkmoon is still quite the beast even after nerfs. (23 coins).

    Well Gascoine is her father, check out that area you were fighting ... andthe music box was actually an item to help you in that fight. It stuns him. In the area where you find the old lady, there's a weapon and another NPC. A hint: you have to walk on beams. And no, the boss in not in the sewers, he is on the giant bridge where you meet a few real werewolves. Basically from Gilbert you go left , into the the house and then on the bridge you left pass the big guy and the crows. Don't read the wiki entries for NPCs though, might spoil too much. And its From, they never explain everything in detail. Basically all you need to know is, soft cap at 25, hard cap at 50 and there are some exceptions for some items. Arcane is basically INT so it's meant for specialized builds. Bloodtinge is mainly for your firearms and some badass weapons.Vitality is important if you can't dodge. Stamina is important if you want to dodge, but usually no more that 20-25 is needed or recommended. Strength and Dexterity are yours to play with, if you'll use the starter weapon the whole game, put at least 25 into both str and dex and then whatever you want. Everything else is just min maxing. oh and as for the pig, well there's ladder down after the bridge where you went to fight gascoine. You go down there and brutalize the pig :D Yup and it wouldn't be any better if you could play raids either. :D Actually old POE would have been the quickest way to get decent stuff, since the Armor cores you got from completing the middle diff i believe are transferable. So once you had 4 all you had to do was was for Variks to sell the armor piece you needed and you exchanged the core for that. SO a month minimum, but you had a purple armor. :D Or you could gamble with weapons and armor core, if you were lucky you had everything in 2 weeks. :D

    Non-optional boss I think. It was a fellow that went by the name of 'Father Gascoigne'. Ah that one. That one is hard the first time and the next few too. :D Though you do get other items to help you. So you skipped the optional one or didn't even encounter it or was it a piece of cake ? And did you find any NPCs? Weapons? Armor? If not, go explore the first areas again, then go further on after Gascoine area. :D Prison of elders is year 1 content so year 1 gear is what you'll always get. Same in Crota raid or Vault of glass. Even the exotics you can get are only year 1. If you want year 2 gear you'll have to play Vanguard Heroic strike playlist.

    I watched a couple of guys doing the same stage last night, the frustration was delicious I finally killed the damn thing. Molotovs are your friend. Just to be clear, Cleric beast ? Or were you at the actual non optional boss ?

    Uncharted is delayed for 2 more weeks as well, Sony needs to manufacture more blurays xD Good for me, i'll probably have less and less time to play anything in the next 3 months.

    Wow you made the perfect jump between games IMO, since Bloodborne is the first game after Demon's souls that has the same atmosphere, Dark Souls games were different. Anyway. Awaken anew just means teleport back to the last lamp you touched. The difference is that Bold Hunter mark ( the yellow consumable) lets you keep all of the souls erm blood echoes :D you gathered and the Hunter mark doesn't. Basically the same mechanic in all "souls" games. THough if you have blood stain on the ground, you can use normal HUnter mark and it won't affect it, so you can pick it up later.

    Another tip, you can actually keep your starter weapon for the whole game. It works on everything if you keep upgrading it.

    GhostofAnakin iron banner is actually a random event. Only Bungie knows when it happens, so yeah you have to do all of its **** when it's there. And well Crucible and Vanguard gear available for legendary marks is decent enough to survive in Destiny without other factions gear. Cat Food, just a tip, once you meet the first boss you can level up in the Hunter's dream, if you didn't know that. So if you have trouble level up and there is a reason why there so much Oil and Molotovs given to you at the start of the game.

    YUp, that's destiny since day one. And well in year one you had to watch people get great guns of all colors, even Exotic. Now you can imagine what a chore it was to get this far. http://i.imgur.com/iMiZx5a.png And then came year 2, and i was stupid enough to bother for everything once again. http://i.imgur.com/49AW97T.png and once they introduce more stuff, i'll probably be grinding it yet again. edit: and the only things i ever wanted in year 2 was the new FWC ship and the new Iron Banner ship. ... rarest loot in the game they say. But from 10 friends who regularly played with me, 4 have them ...

    Yeah you usually get the damn artifact when you want armor from diagrams. Weapon diagrams do give you weapons though. And iron banner is a chore especially for you since unlike normal Crucible it's Level Advantaged, so you'll die faster and do far less damage. And yes, you only get legendary marks for 1 daily crucible match and 3 weekly crucible matches, might even be wins, not sure. And yeah i might have been better if they weren't shared on all 3 characters, but the old system was even worse. 200 vanguard marks and 200 crucible marks on each characters was even more tasking to grind. Especially since Vanguard marks turned out to be useless pretty fast. Though you might have used the other thing they removed, selling materials (spinmetal, spirit bloom,...) for marks. SP only players used to do that a lot.

    Sorry, i forgot that PoE doesn't have matchmaking on the middle and highest difficulty. And i believe you have to order until Saturday evening by the gunsmith to get stuff by wednesday. And later and you can't do it anymore or it counts as a new week from tuesday reset on. And yes the state PVP is in is why i'm not playing Destiny these last 3 months, but since you "have" do suffer through only 10 minutes of one match for marks it should piss you off that much.

    You didn't get any of the badass gear from story mode Taken King? You should have gotten a shotgun and a sidearm if memory serves. Also do Gunsmith bounties at least the SP ones and then buy Gunsmith package(s). You have to wait until Wednesday but you get a 280 light weapon of your choice, well depending on what he has available :D , with random perks for 2500 glimmer. And i can only suggest you play Daily Crucible then. You don't have to win or anything, just survive through 1 match and you get your daily Legendary Marks.

    There is no daily strike, just daily story mission. Strikes are weekly. So play daily story each day to earn marks. Then play 3 strikes on the Heroic playlist to earn 30 more marks each week. And you can only earn marks by dismantline year 2 legendary gear, like the stuff you get from completing quests in Taken king or from engrams if your lucky.

    I'm playing BLOPS3 ... too much of it. Just the knife left to get Dark Matter camo ... Are you level 40?

    I don't get the fascination with LPs either. I rather be in the dark about the game or it's secrets or whatever, than watch or listen to them.
