  1. I think he only appears once, by my count. I think Shaheed and Leland appear twice each, but I think Darcy's only on there once, right under the "33%".
  2. I don't know much of the backstory of WoW's development, but from what I've always heard, they were super surprised by the amount of adoptation it had by the community - I think they said that they bought twice as many servers as they thought they would need at launch, with the goal to use half of them immediately and bring the rest online over the next year, and then they wound up having to activate them all within the first week to account for the massive number of people who bought the game as soon as it came out. So it's possible that the kind of resources they gained from the massive amount of subscribers allowed them to be more ambitious with the expansion and do things like flying mounts that weren't originally planned for. In the end you don't really notice too much about not being able to fly in the old world - you're really not there a huge amount if you're above 60, anyway. Anyway, my flying carpet is awesome.
  3. Check it here. Should be some interesting reading for you guys!
  4. Oh, dammit WoW. I think I played something like 12 hours of you yesterday. Finally got my Warlock to 79 and made him a Magnificent Flying Carpet, though.
  5. Some amazing deals on here. Too bad we never managed to get NWN2 on there.
  6. We have a 10 meg limit on incoming emails, I believe. Can you send something physical, like a CD? Or do you have a website with downloadable samples?
  7. I still haven't even started this up yet - been busy with work and my seven-day free WoW time lately. (Damn you, dungeon finder, for making it so easy to play for three hours.)
  8. Cool, thanks! I'll try to make sure it gets in the right hands.
  9. So...I kind of already bought this (it's ten bucks), but I was curious if any of you have any experience with The Last Remnant. All I've really heard about it is that it's a lot better on PC than it is on the 360, but that's not much to go on. What am I in for? It's been a while since I played a JRPG. I never quite finished Tales of Symphonia (although I need to polish it off during the holidays, I guess).
  10. You can feel free to supply audio samples at the address in the link listed above. We cannot guarantee that everything will be heard, however. I don't think we really have any kind of application you need to send out if you're looking for contract work.
  11. Yeah, and that's just one conversation! If you guys have any questions about the blog, feel free to post here and I'll poke Alvin and Mikey to respond to you guys.
  12. Check it! Sorry it took so long to get this one up; I had a little vacay-shun in between the last one and this one. This time around, we have our Audio Producer, Mikey Dowling, tell us all about the process of taking a script and making it into an interactive cinematic sequence. Enjoy!
  13. NM, I found the original post about this and the website that it was talking about.
  14. There's no PSN multiplayer beta, as there's no multiplayer in AP. If anyone has one of these emails, mind sending it to me in a PM?
  15. I found that I used a lot of healing pots early on, used almost none for the bulk of the game, and then increased my usage dramatically near the end, to the point where I had to make a bunch. But then I never used more than one mage in my party at a time. Has anyone found a mod that greatly increases your carrying capacity? I have the camp storage chest mod, but I'd love to be able to hold 200 items or so.
  16. Bethesda's our publisher for Fallout: New Vegas, which we'll be talking more about in the future. As far as unannounced projects go, I really can't say anything, sorry.
  17. I keep getting a weird ATI driver crash when my computer attempts to wake up from sleep mode in Win7. For the moment I just disabled sleep mode, but that's going to be a waste of power going forward. Apart from that I love Win7. It's smooth like butter. My only other complaint is that the folder view options don't seem to be saved very well. I want everything to be in Details view, but attempting to apply that view to all other folders inevitably leads to me finding one that has everything as thumbnails. So that's annoying.
  18. Hey doods - sorry if I haven't been posting much, but I've been on vacation for the last couple of weeks. I know you guys might be worried by the relative lack of word on Alpha Protocol, but there has been stuff going on behind the scenes over here - we have a new trailer in the pipeline, for instance, which most of us on the team are really enthusiastic about. And there is a timeline for more PR stuff in the first few months of the year which should let us build up some more buzz before the game's release. And I do have some blogs to post when I get back into the office - I think you should find them pretty interesting! We're hoping to get those up on a regular basis from now until the game's release, so I think you should find some pretty interesting info in there. Anyhoo, there'll be more details coming down the pipe soon, I hope. But again, sorry for the lack of word lately.
  19. I restarted my game after playing for about five hours with poison and I went to traps. Now I wish I had stuck with poison. Traps can be handy but they require a bit of foresight to use. But that's the same thing with poison; I always forgot to use them. I guess on Normal it doesn't really matter too much; with a bit of tactics there are rarely any encounters that require special skills.
  20. The one thing I miss thus far are the more orchestrated murders that were featured in AC1. Things like leaping across the pylons in the harbor to reach the ship where the guy was shooting arrows off into the bay. Thus far most of the assassinations are more hit-and-run affairs where you're told exactly where the dude is and just go slice his throat. Apart from that, it's pretty amazing.
  21. What do you want him to do? He's the character I control the most, as my tank, so I don't have many tactics set up for him. Just to attack the lowest health enemy (should probably change this to closest), with all the other party members targeting his target. Simple!
  22. Loving it so far. But then I really enjoyed the first one quite a bit. I can't figure out how to get the to work though. It seems like it just kills people for me.
  23. Mayhap. But I used it before and he seemed fine. I'll have to try it again. I need to respec Morrigan again because the fire spells seem pretty pointless. They do good damage against clusters of archers, sure, but then they all blow right past Shale (tank) and kill her. I think the Waking Nightmare spell, or whatever it's called, that causes everyone in an area to go berserk and attack each other, is probably the best.
  24. Has anyone had any bugginess with the respec potion mod? I used it on Morrigan (for the second time) while Shale was in the party, and all of his rock abilities became unusable. They were still on his hotbar and in his spellbook, but he was unable to use any of them. I had to reload a save to fix it. Pretty weird!
  25. Not to get off-topic, but I've always felt like the "berserker" option in RPGs is a poor choice, especially on harder difficulties. It seems like the tradeoff of higher damage for worse defenses/lower attack is almost never worth it. Everything will die eventually if you can survive, but surviving is usually the hard part. My team now is Shale, Morrigan, Lileana, and the main character (two-handed weapon warrior). I wish Lileana could be easily respecced to dual-wielding, but she has so many points in archery when you get her it just seems silly to start her over again (wish you would get the characters with a relatively clean slate like you do in Mass Effect). Doesn't matter too much, though, as tank-specced Shale takes so little damage and is so good at drawing enemy fire that almost no one else ever gets hit.
