It's Joanna Newsom tuning her harp before a show. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> have you heard Ys? It's brilliant, one of the best of 2006. And i don't really like the so called new weird america movement.

not going to happen in NWN2, ferret decided that you need to keep some party members with you on certain key points of the game.

at level 20, you should have +5 weapons. iirc the random loot generator only generates stuff up to +3, the rest are either crafted or unique.

or a halfling named Hades with a dex of 1. and a charisma of 2.

russia's been [floundering] for the last 400 years, since the first romanov. it was going in a better direction for like 5 minutes before Yeltsin, but alas it was not the time for a democratic Russia.

IGN: The Villains of Neverwinter
Lare Kikkeli replied to CoM_Solaufein's topic in Computer and Console
words <{POST_SNAPBACK}> dude, you know her dialog was written by a sweaty 40-year old nerd, right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I know. That sweaty 40-year old nerd is my idol. Anyone who can up with a character like Kreia, is most probably going to end up as my most favorite writer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kreia is great villain when talking about games. In literature however, Kreia wouldn't be very special villain. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We weren`t talking about literature. [snip] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, but you said "Anyone who can up with a character like Kreia, is most probably going to end up as my most favorite writer.", So I with no actual reason wanted to point out that Kreia is not that special. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe he doesnt read. -

In NWN the big portrait I post here is only visible when you chose a portrait for your character, and when you open the char menu. In most time (95%) you will see the picture in this size: As you can see the background is quite unobstrusive in this size, but I also checked the Star-N-Sarevok in this size and that was really a problem, thats why I changed that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Very nice touch-up Jorian! Although I feel the colors don't seem to work together. The yellow of the gold is too obtrusive, besides it doesn't really look like having properties of gold. This is even more obvious with the B&W background. For backgrounds I prefer to stay in a similar color-range, or maybe toying around with the complementary color. I few touch-ups with clouds with the digital airbrush/Eraser-combo often do the trick. And for even more subtly, try conveying reflection lights/colors of you environment. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am realy not sure why you say it doesn't look golden. Gold comes in real in many variables, and in many clearness. Also in fantasy gold doesn't have to be a soft metal, or one that 'moves' electricity (not remembering correct word). Here, these are all gold: Please explain what exactly is the problem with it so I can correct the picture. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> too yellow. doesnt look like metal. you need to add some lens flare or something, to make it look all reflective.

you can either use shadowkeeper, or by some mod. check the pocketplane modlist.

Hmmm ... *contemplates playing BG2 with a Paladin ... * <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I really can't stress how great that Dungeon-Be-Gone mod is. As soon as you get out of your cell a little dude pops up who will whisk you to the exit of the dungeon, picking up all the XP and gear you would have got from trudging through it yourself. So if you ever think "I'd rather just start out in Athkatla," you should probably pick it up. Pocket Plane hosts it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spot on. I've run through that dungeon way too many times. It looks pretty cool on its face, but does anybody have confirmation the BG1tutu is cool? Having played the second game before the first one (yes, yes, blasphemy, I know) I found having only the core classes to be... lacking in flair On that note, one has to start a new game in order to utilize newly installed mods, correct? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> easyTuTu is awesome, as the name says really easy to install (regular TuTu is a bit of a hassle) and it makes BG1 the better game of the two. There are some mods for tutu, check the pocketplane mod list found here.

hence the not so clever part.

yeah, so? it's gonna leak anyway, and everyone interested enough is gonna download it. why bother with all the activation keys and such? of course this could be a (not so) clever marketing ploy to get people to pre-order.
-
there's also a torrent up, i'm sure all who know what a torrent is know where to get it. i personally don't understand why they couldnt make it a public beta.

quake 3. can't wait for NWN2

volo just likes to go into semantics. true, it is real time with pause, but the combat happens in turns. which is exaclt why the animations are ok, as they show when your character is attacking instead of having stupid filler animations ala IE.
