  1. Rick Perry for president! Holy ****!
  2. Never got into the Ass games, and the MGS HD collection isn't coming out in Europe till early next year.
  3. This month's pretty weak (No CoD, BF or TES fan here), so I think I'm gonna maybe play MGS4 again. I'm looking forward when they re-re-re-announce MGS Rising at Spike TV.
  4. So, how long will it take this time till people concede that the BESTEST GAMES EVAH is actually just another boring and generic dungeon romp?
  5. I hope virumor just made that up, otherwise he might just spoiled the very reason why to complete ME3. Goddman virumor!
  6. It's probably gonna have some kind of Deus Ex Machina ending, like in War of the Worlds, where bacterias just killed off the aliens. Only this time, it's maybe the Protheans who return from some dark corners of the galaxy to kick butt, tell Shep some cryptic story, and vanish again. BAM DUM TISH!
  7. MDK still belongs to Interplay. It's either a new IP, or maybe they revive one of the old Pandemic franchises, Mercenaries, which I certainly hope is not the case.
  8. Let's not forget that LA Noire was only Rockstar published (developer was Team Bondi). Rockstar still made a bunch of stinkers though, like the Manhunt series.
  9. They are. Bio been a star among the mainstream since the release of Kotor. The only reason why they don't sell so good as Rockstar or Blizzard games is because they never got the chance to really develop something truly spectacular and ambitious. Rockstar can spend a $100 million and 5-6 years development time, Blizzard the same if they want. Imagine Bioware would set out with such a budget and timeframe to make some reactive open-world GTA style game, with their capability, they sure as hell would land a title that sells 15 million units as well. There's hope that if SWTOR is a huge success and guarantees a high income revenue, Bio might be able to have more latidude and time for their future titles, not being forced to pop out mediocre games every 18 months. With EA being their masters though, I doubt that.
  10. I think a new IP is more likely, because SS sucks donkey ballz and nobody wants to play that.
  11. No, I mean they're gonna announce a new Biowre studio with it, and maybe they're focused on action games instead? Bioware Montreal for example shares the same offices as EA Montreal, and I did remember Ray saying that they (or the other new studio) are making action games because that'S what they're good at. BioWare is not an RPG exclusive shop.
  12. It's probably that downloadable Project Zulu thingy maybe?
  13. First look at BioWare's new IP Looks a bit like Uncharted...
  14. I invest in beer and snacks.
  15. If the lifespan of current SSD's is still only a couple of years then I'm not interested.
  16. Or maybe that's just the new lighting system in the UE3.
  17. Stripped RPG elements? Last time I remember I could pick my dialogue choices all myself in ME1/2. That they have an auto-picking feature now in ME3 is considered an "option" now?
  18. No, a lot of retail games are already available via XBLA/PSN, for example Battlefield 3 was Day and Date. I think EA's been exceptionally active on this front. Yeah I know, Games on Demand, but that's only optional. All big budget games will continue to be released on retail as well. But in the future they could use something like Steamworks for console games as well, which means you gonna have to think twice before forking out 60 EUR for something that may turn out stinker. But this is only a natural development, as this means many companies are gonna go out of business as people are starting to get more picky, so only a few best survive for blockbuster productions. The market always regulates itself. Not sure what this means for Obsidian though.
  19. I don't think those are difficulty options, and if they are, what's wrong with just easy-normal-hard? Always trying to innovate where it isn't needed, huh, Bioware?
  20. I think that's a pretty dumb idea and will only cause confusion among the Bioware fans.
  21. Uhm, that's the smaller XBLA titles. I mean the retail games. You can always sell a retail games, but maybe not in the future anymore.
  22. That's why we'll see something like Steam coming for the Next-Gen consoles as well. Once bought and activated, you can't sell it anymore as the disc is rendered useless.
  23. They all send you the key per e-mail, but if it's a Russian key, you need a Russian IP to activate it. They do give you the option to do it for you if you don't know how to do it yourself.
  24. Intkeys.com has it even cheaper, and yes, it works. You have to remember though that you sometimes get a Russian IP key, but the provider actually does the activation for you, if you are willing to give him your Steam name and PW (obviously, change PW temporarily to something else).
