  1. This is the difference between Americans and Europeans.
  2. Good luck. I couldn't think how to play it without my Wii-remote thingy. Anyways, got that bastard (thanks for the tip!), and played further. It seems I'm now (again) facing a huge monster, this time it's the one with that little annoying man in it's blossom(?). So I shoot the eye, blossom opens, shoot little man, repeat, until the plant eats me without warning, or any QTE to avoid. Hmm. Edit: Ok, seems like I just have to run away when the plant wants to eat me. Oh well...
  3. Resident Evil 4. Chapter 4. Stuck again. Yay! Is that monster in the sewers even vulnerable? Or should I just run 3 minutes long in circles until the elevator arrives?
  4. Considering what reviewers thought of the piece of **** that was Oblivion (i.e. they ate it up, similar for NWN1 OC), why do you give a rats what they have to say about the game? The magazine I read didn't praise Oblivion that much. I'll most probably pick it up anyway, since there's no other game in sight right now, but at least I have to make sure that it isn't bug ridden.
  5. All games who sell like hell win tons of awards, regardless of the actual quality. That being said, BS was a very good game, but no way it deserves 50 awards.
  6. The Witcher was bland, with a tasteless setting and horrible writing. I say go for Mass Effect or Fallout 3.
  7. Finally managed to advance in Resident Evil 4. Now I'm in Chapter 3, armed with a new Riot shotgun, and ready to shoot some zombie monks! I'm still pissed though that the new upcoming RE for Wii is a on-rails shooter. I mean, screw them for doing this!
  8. I agree the story was crap, but the game's narrative was never meant to come through a classic way, nor did I expect an RPG. It was exactly what I expected and what I was looking for - a First-person brawler with (some) emergent gameplay, some mix of Arx Fatalis and Thief. I was not disappointed. Seeing how emergent gameplay is so apparent in Bioshock2, and seeing that Arkane are masters in it, I'm now very much looking forward to the game. Arx is old and ugly by now, but still recommendable.
  9. Soft sci-fi? You just mean ME there right? Because if ST is soft sci-fi, what the hell would classify as hardcore? Aliens, Tank Girl, The Thing, etc.
  10. Yeah, what travesty? Arkane only made two games, but I enjoyed both tremendously, so seeing that they're now involved in making BS2 excites me very much.
  11. I'll skip this game I think unless it gets some heavy high scores.
  12. Look how those pigs are checking out her ass.
  13. Man, get over yourself. It's his wife. Surely there's nothing wrong touching your owns wife ass, eh?
  14. It's from Bethy. I won't miss anything man!
  15. With such a hot ass it's hard not to look. *oink oink*
  16. I think there were several programmers hired to do the dirty job on Daggerfall. The first one screwed the code up so much that they fired him. The second one looked at the source code, imediately returned to the airport and was off. The third one, I think they had to lock him up in a room until the game was finsihed. Suffice to say, Daggerfall was a very buggy game. As for me, I don't care about that old ****. I'm too lazy to go through that Dosbox nonsense anyway.
  17. Lol. Each choice a surprise, as they say...
  18. A picture speaks a thousand words. Discuss.
  19. Arkane Studios will be involved in making levels for Bioshock 2. Click "Step back into the unforgettable world of Rapture in BioShock 2, the next instalment in the franchise that has won more than 50 Game of the Year awards. BioShock 2 provides players with the perfect blend of explosive first person shooter combat, compelling storytelling and intense multiplayer to form one of 2009
  20. He's actually a Specter. But for you, it's still Commander!
  21. Shepard! Oh Shepard! Why is it always about you, Shepard? "Because I'm Commander Shepard!" I like the writing quality in ME btw, no really.
  22. Oh boy, imagine Smith & Tinkers and Obsidian collaborate together to make a Shadowrun RPG...
  23. Divinity 2 has gone Gold! ...and will be released on 24th July in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It also states that the international release will be early September.
