When I play the first time, I always go the no-nonsense route. Meaning I play the standard soldier/human/fighter.
At my current playthrough I'm playing an Adept, and lifting dudes into the air makes fun.
It was quite a dumb idea from Interplay to start with a MMO to begin with. I mean a company on the brink of destruction, and they're gonna make a MMO. The most expensive genre I could think of.

Replaying Jade Empire.
The game hasn't aged well. Tiny levels, blocky heads, and lots of unnecessary blahblah. Not that I don't like wordy games though, but listening all time to dawnstar's doubts and whining can get pretty tiresome.
To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't be sad if Bethesda acquires Obsidian. Bethy makes also RPGs, so they'd be the least draconic publisher for someone like Obsidian. They both know how the RPG business works.
It makes be kinda sick knowing that Blizzard has technically speaking to take orders from these bloodsuckers. I bet once Wow subscibers go down, Activision is gonna start pushing Blizzard....
