I have finished blind walkthrough of Tales of Zestiria. The final bossfight was kind of interesting, but It was pure Gear Check. Because I have not spent much time with gear grind, I had to go through few Retries. In the end, I was able to beat him after 45 minutes of trying, where I have put the best DPS gear on my party and used All-divide item, so my party would not end up one shotted. I have really enjoyed this game. It took me over 122 hours, but the funny thing is, that this game counts even time in menus when you adjust your gear and skills. To my surprise, I have spent over 40 hours of the game doing that lol... Still, I love that game and I am eager to go for the Alishia DLC Chapter

"Virumor is doing a decent Volo impersonation, at least" No.

I played Drakensang long time ago. I have kind of liked it, but I was confused with rules. So I have never finished the game. I have probably picked the wrong skills, so the fights became to tough for me.

Still Tales of Zestiria. Got the 2nd hardest equipment fusion Trophy (only 1.2% of game owners were able to get it) and then, I have killed my first Dragon (Tiamat), which have decided to intervene in war between two kingdoms, and in a few minutes obliterated half the soldiers from both sides. During the fight, it healed up from fear of the soldiers, but after showing them, that this beast can be defeated, they amassed archers around the place of the fight, and were slowly helping me out with rain of arrows. After almost 20 minus of fight. The Dragon boss went down, and my two protagonists went to their old hideout for three days long nap :-D Slowly trying to get equipment for the hardest fusion Trophy. It's pretty random, so I will probably have not all the required gear for it before NG+

Man, everybody knows, that you have to invest hundreds hours of gameplay, to be able to have valid oppinion, if the game is **** or not! Now go back to the tutorial campaign and don't come back, before you replay it for 10,000th time!

I continue with Tales of Zestiria, moving slowly forward, but I have just finished the search for all Iris Gems and now I continue with main questline and hope to stop war between two kingdoms. I am also trying to hunt for some trophies with fusing equipment. But I am unable to find the right combination of traits on armor for Lailah to get the second hardest fusion trophy (

Finished today the 4th trial in Tales of Zestiria. The game is still fun, but I am startung to hate the travel system of the game. You can travel between all of the discovered save points, but currently at kevel 45, 1 travel costs more than 9000 gald, and the drop rate of gold is not very high. Which forces you to travel long destinations by foot (

More Tales of Zestiria for me. I have just finished the Second Trial for Shepherd and moving slowly forward with the story. It had already some interesting plot twists, but the equipment chaining leveling and fusing is really complicated, so I am not having my character on highest equipment level and some bosses are kicking my ass while trying to defeat them :-D No need to farm at all in the game, if you don't want too, but you will have few harder boss fights that way )

You want to change your GPU? That's one activation lost. Wanna change something else? There's another activation. Denuvo activations aren't lost. They are still activations. Something which does not belong to gaming.

You can do something far worse to her. Talk to her about SJW issues? :-O That's cruel indeed!

I would recommend you to go for both games. If you are little bit tight on budget, I would recommned you to get Tyranny now, and PoW in a Black Friday or Winter sale. Ad if you go for it, I can only recommned you to buy both of the expansions in the same sale too.

I have finished last week all of the Battle Challenge Titles in Tales of Xillia 2 and got the Gold Trophy for it. During that, I was able to get few more Battle Titles for Milla, Luther and Gaius. I have finaly enough grade to restart the game with everything carried over, which I spent lot of time to craft/farm/whatever. Game is 60% complete now. Instead of restarting the game, I went to my favourite retailer on Friday and purchased PS4 Pro. I have immediately installed my 8 games, which I have purchased last 2 years (without owning PS4 :-P ) and started blind walkthrough of Tales of Zestiria. The game has compared to my previous Tales of... titles much slower pace at the beginning, but I am still enjoying the story and playability of the title. It looks like mix of some previous titles with a lot of added new features and to me it is the most complex/complicated game from Tales of... series. On Mamoo's scale of awesomeness it deserves at the moment 7.5/10, mostly because of the slower pace of the game in the first 10 hours ). My favourite game of the series is still Tales of Graces f.

Don't you love the DRM? :-D

No tentacles no sale...

Well about 500ml Absinth, 250ml Tequila Anejo Especial and 250ml Stroh, mixed with 500ml Orange Juice and few leafs of Peppermint should be sufficient for that job. Served cold.

I'll try to avoid anything about Tyranny, Torment and Tales of Berseria, just because of the same reason. No need to spoil my enjoyment of the game, before I am able to play it

Same for me :-D

Well on a second though. I think more fitting name for a newest pawn of Lord Kyros might be Clint the Hillaruous. Decissions, decissions.

Survey for the Future Part 2
Mamoulian War replied to Sking's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
On the other hand, Numenera going turn based was for me the best news since the announcement of Kickstarter. Unfortunately you can't please everyone, but for me the best wish would be turn based Reign of Winter Adventure Path with rules as close as possible to PnP Pathfinder rules and with the availability of Core Rulebook, Advanced Players Guide and Advanced Race Guide classes, archetypes and races, with combat as close to the Temple of Elemental Evil as possible. Up until today, I haven't play game with better combat as ToEE. -
So, to fully complement the names in the setting, my first character will be named Donald the Wall.

Actually this is the most interesting thingie on his reddit from what I have read: "Also note that the original article presented this as a "code comment" which made it look like it came directly from my code. Decompiled code does not include comments. The blogger wrote that comment (and all the others) herself. She also restructured the code and added names of variables and such (decompiled code doesn't include local variable names). It's better regarded as her pseudocode interpretation of my code, not anything I actually wrote." So in current age, it is actually allowed to practically decompile a code and then turn it into your own, which does not represent the real code, and blame the original author for what you have created on your own?

You mean playing a game is boring? It's no different from games with XP mechanics really - you want to increase a skill, you grind. You want more XP, you grind. A well designed game won't ever require you to grind, regardless of skill mechanics used. Which is the first massive advantage of "learn by doing" systems, incidentally. When you learn skills by using them and you can't level a skill up, it probably means the skill is useless and should be ignored. It has this mechanical courtesy of telling you "Oh yes, the skill is there, but we didn't have enough time to polish it up, just ignore it." Those are the same kinds of skills you invest in XP-based games and the find out they're utterly useless and you have lost a bunch of skill points needlessly. How exactly is that different from running away in the middle of a quest to grind up XP? In fact I'd say learn by doing systems have massive advantage here since you quite simply won't get inexplicably better at swinging your sword by finishing a bunch of fetch quests. The writing is less consistent since the expansion is more open and ... well, longer, but the writing is brilliant nonetheless. Well the reason why I do not like skill based stuff, is not because it sucks, but because the balance of the stuff and grinding tends to break the game much more than xp grind. The thing, which I love most is XP based adventures with tiered level caps. This allows very challenging encounters even in middle of the game. We are playing that way our Rise of the Runelords AP in PFRPG tabletop. And I love it.
-
I actually hate leveling by doing stuff and I prefer XP, because most of the time the skill based leveling is broken. Hitting **** 1000 times to get enough skillpoints to level up is boring and lot of games don't give you enough options to levelup all of the implemented skills. Trainers can solve the issue somehow, but the main issue becomes non-existant time management. If you go in middle of the save the day quest for a week of training, the game should reflect that, and give you hard time with the quest...
