  1. Is there a ''join us'' moment when it comes to the Principi so i can say ''no''? Cause i want to drain any many quests out of these factions as possible without joining any of them. EDIT: If i decide to join the Principi does nobody leave? You mention you fight some Huana leaders and others mention fighting Ruatai leaders with the Principi, so why does nobody leave during those events? There is a "I have the Fonferrus and return to Aeldys/Furrante" moment, which is the "join us" point. If you decide to join the Principi nobody leaves. You then sail through the storm and land on Ukuzi or what's it called and disable the Ondra's mortar/storm. This apparently makes one(! would be interesting to know whether this is random or there's a prerequisite to chose which appears) of the factions you decided against turn up in the city and fight against you. Nobody leaves then, as they start combat with you, not the other way around. Well, I sided with the Principi and Maia still left :/
  2. Well, it's not the fighting that I'm missing, but getting to know more about Ukaizo. The way it is now, you land, turn off the storms, have a chat with Eothas and bugger off again from this mythical place people have been talking about all over the Deadfire. At least being able to talk to the Guardian, or its soul, would have been nice. Or finding a secret library, some old texts in stone, or what have you.
  3. Well, they're not there in my game or do you need to start a completely new game for that?
  4. So this says you can hire legendary crew members at the Kraken's Eye, but where are they? You can't talk to anyone new, or recruit anyone new from the innkeeper interface?

  6. I'm not all that drawn to a pure combat expansion, but are there any nice crew members in this DLC?
  7. I have this currently happening in the Hole inn, but also in the Luminous Bathhouse; switching out a party member makes them disappear. Their icon is still indicating they're somewhere outside, but it's impossible to leave the area with the 'you must gather your aprty before venturing forth' message, effectively leaving you stuck
  8. So... if we're not supposed to be able to talk to it, is there an option to find out more about Ukaizo lore? It seems so strange to be 'punished' for taking the less violent option.

  10. ...why do I discover this only now? Revisiting Baldur's Gate as well ( sort of), the slightly modified portrait I use for my Pale Elf. Someone wanna watercolor it?
  11. Well... yes, but that's not really what an RPG should be about, right? "You can only make this choice because the other one doesn't work."
  12. I read somewhere they should have been fixed, but in my latest game I recruited Vatnir and told the Harbingers to go home because their work was finished. The ending slides were the ones where Hafjorn leads them into being a fanatical sect and Vatnir didn't get mentioned at all. Not entirely fixed then?
  13. ... there is supposed to be a Guardian? I never encountered it either, I thought the water dragon had killed it (and was somewhat disappointed by that). No conversations either, like daver mentioned, just walk up to the machine and have a chat with Eothas. I thought it passing weird :/ Same choices here too: sided with Furrante, freed the dragon. I also let Aeldys go, but unsure if that affects the bug.
  14. Well, I'm known to not romance most Bioware games, and I quite enjoyed getting closer to Aloth in Deadfire. It's just a few lines, which is fine with me, no boinkfests, and entirely optional. And he's very Aloth about it, which I thought was great Tekehu, Maia and Xoti practically jumping you when they first meet you is weird, but to mee it looked like that was just some bad or at least very optimistic programming.
  15. Do you need to romance him for that, or will he just listen to you (unlike Maia) ?
  16. ... leaving if you side with the pirates? It seems she always leaves if you side with the Vailians or the Huana, but if it's the Principi, it's apparently possible to convince her to stay. Still, none of my dialogue options do the trick :/ Furrante leads the Prinicipi and I have 2 rep with Maia, but didn't finish her quest.
  17. So the whole thing about her removing her soul from the cycle is never actually mentioned? It's strange, because Aloth seems to know - he makes a side comment on how she 'takes what she needs form the living...'
  18. So far, all I know about Ydwin's intriguing backstory is what I've read on the internet - nothing in game. I've taken her to the animancy teleport quest atop the spire, and through the Beast of Winter, but it doesn't come up. Since she's a sidekick, you can't really talk to her either. Did I miss something? Or is there a specific situation where you can find out more about her?
  19. Oh, great. Since the option I was looking for (the one she suggests later on, that shepherding souls is different from gathering them) wasn't there at the moment, I chose something else. Guess it's a badly written quest then, not a bug. and I have to go back 20 hours after all. Meh.

So I told Xoti to rekindle the fires of Hel, take care of the living instead of the dead and generally move toward the light, but whenever she visits an adra pillar, she ends up absorbing the souls and going full psycho out of nowhere. Is this tied to her approval (currently at 1) or the number of special encounters with souls (I think also only 1, because I like to switch out different party members)? Or is it bugged? And if so, is there any fix for it other than going back 20 hours of gameplay and hope it doesn't happen the same way?
  21. Update: after two days I got it to work by turning off cloud syncing and refinishing Pillars I. Hopefully there is a way to tell Galaxy that my pc has the correct saves and sync with them instead of the other way around, but if not I'll keep savegame syncing turned off.
