The Mundane Kind

Sadly most of this stuff has little or no impact on Pillars 2. Killing the dragon results in literally one line where someone calls you a dragonslayer. The White March stuff mostly just leads to you getting a special cannon for your ship. Grieving Mother was never mentioned in my playthrough. Animancy trial I don't recall having any impact or ever even being brought up. Kana, if you were reasonably nice and kept him alive, can show up at some point. It's kind of poignant if you have Maia (his sister) in your party. But since you never played Pillars 1 you probably won't get much out of it either way.

You guys all just got -2 disposition with Xoti.

The Pillars 2 community: "The game's too easy even on POTD!" The Pillars 2 community: "Why'd they nerf ____?!" Even with the limited charges you have so many figurines available throughout the game that you can give each party member one and use them in nearly every even slightly challenging fight and still have charges/uses to spare by the final battle. And they didn't nerf the necklace that lets you summon a drake -- a freakin' huge fire-breathing drake -- once per rest.

Sadly even the god you chose has little impact. Hylea gives you a cake, for Pete's sake. And what if you chose to give the souls to Woedica? Does it empower her enough to return to her throne as Queen of the Gods? No. She doesn't even acknowledge it, nor does Skaen.

Like, it's annoying that, like, they overuse these, like, common words, like, all the damn time! I mean, like, that's totally unrealistic and, like, we never do that! Like, know what I mean guys?

You need to do the next quest in the main quest line, probably Ashen Maw.

I think it's a religion skill check (pretty high, around 9 maybe?) to see that it's Wael, or maybe it's a Wael godlike under that hood?
