I ahve basically been following the Obsidian peeps before they were Black Isle.

Thing is I want a Star Wars SP CRPG that allows the player to choose his class and abilities and not have them dictated to him or her. Such as if I wanted to play a Force user so be it, but at the same time I could beat the game with a non force user. Expand the CRPG and have all the classes in the d20 System Star Wars game in the mix and a few choice Prestige Classes. Make a BG/NWN style CRPG based on the Star Wars universe. That would be so kickarse.

Man, if that was enforced in the movies, Luke would have never faced Darth Vader in Ep. 5.

It is quite easy to play the former Dark Lord of the Sith. Sure you have power of the force, but after being mindwiped then realize who you are, one could believable state that he has had enough of the force crap and turn his back on it.

I know. I just like to have the option to play a scoundrel or a scout, and have a non-Jedi prestige class available for the PC. Sure the game is meant for a force user, but I want to play my character and not the developers'. Also it would most definitely up the difficulty quite a bit and that is one thing that KotOR 1 had a problem with. It was just way to easy.

More options you have the better the game, especially in a CRPG.

You sound like the gamer that I I killed his character in 47 minutes into a new campaign, Starwarskid15_19. I play CRPGs and only CRPGs, with an occasional space combat sim on the side. KotOR 2 is a CRPG and with the drought of CRPGs we are having I will probably be getting the game, but I won't stop detailing the game's weaknesses or the fact that I hate Star Wars except for the original 3 movies. Don't like it? Don't read my posts.

Not perfectly normal, but more normal. Of course the least normal gamers, worse that Star Wars fans, are the LARPers. Of all the gamers in the world these guys actually scare me.

The first 3 movies were good. Also I just hate being forced to play force users. In a CRPG I like to play my character, not the developers.

My response to this is who cares. I stop caring about the Star Wars movies when Phantom Menace came out.
