First off Obsidian is not making KotOR 3. No one is at this time. Don't like it, tough. Secondly this is the wrong forum. In case you didn't notice all the locked KotOR 3 threads before do so now. Also there is only one sanctioned KotOR 3 thread and that is in the Computer and Consoles forum and you post crap like this there. Don't like it, tough for that is the way it is.

One of the main reasons why I don't like JRPGs is the dependence on cutscenes. I want to play my character and not watch my character. I was quite annoyed with FFX when Tidus was doing all this cool sh*t and I was not the one controlling him to do it. I want to play my game, not watch it.

For what its worth you may like the forums on nwn 2 news if you are not a fan of the Biosidian forums but want to talk about nwn2. I have collected several members who do not like the bio forums. The devs read the nwn2news forums as well to boot. FYI <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am almost tempted but I think this cynical old derange coot should stay where he is. I'll do less damage that way.

The problem is that Bioware has no real competitors in the CRPG field. Everyone else makes lame arse MMORPGs or "action" titles that have no story or substance to them.

My stance on DG and the rest of the Bioware staff that I have had dealings with will remain. They have yet done anything truly innovative nor produced a game worthy of the hype they have given themselves.

I don't consider it bashing, just an observation of their behavior and the quality of their forums. If it is true then it is not bashing.

David G. is one of the worse of the bunch. He thinks he is king of the world in game development which he is not. All he does is roll out the same basic plot in every game just like the rest of them.

Not only do they have slower forums they have developers that actually belive in their own hype. It smells of hubris.

Not that it matters any more anyway. The game is released, its been abandoned for the most part, Obsidian has moved on.

I hate the Bioware forums. They should discuss the game on the forums in which the company is making them. Not where the previous game was made. Following that inane logic the KotOR 2 forums should be moved to Bioware as well.

As long as Obsidian learns from their mistakes with Lucas Arts, such as never doing business with them again, everything will be kosher.

Imagine if they had 18 to 24 months.

I hate Gothic 2. Third worse CRPG I have ever played. There have only been 2 worse games. The PoOR Demo and Ultima 9.
