Hell, the Aurora Engine is too obsolete to be used today but they are anyway. I doubt that is a possibility since that material is still owned by Interplay. SUre, they can't do anything with it, but Interplay still owns the stuff.
Wrong freaking forum and we don't like new KotOR 3 threads here. You want to discuss KotOR 3 then go to the Lucas Arts forums or post in the right forum and the single thread allowed for KotOR 3.
In that situation I would have a set DC for a Will save. Maybe a DC 20 Will save. Failure means you pet the ring and keep it, but if the PC fails the save 5 or more he puts on the ring.
Actually he didn't die. He was reduced to single digit HP then saved 2 of his party members by picking up two of his unconscious characters and fled the battle. The other surviving character did the same. In the end there was only one PC death in that battle and that was the Rogue/Assassin who was betraying the group and took down the paladin right after the fireball hit.
The monk's first death was by the necklace of stranglation. He found a necklace, the mage said it was magical, he thought to put it on without identifying it. Go figure.
Sorry, but I am not a rules lawyer. Also I was using 3e not 3.5e, and I think there is a subsection in 2e that lets you do so and I was converting a 2e module to 3e.
I gave quite a number of mods a try. From Pool of Radiance to Tortured Hearts, but I don't buy games for the mods. Did I buy BG for Dark Side of the Sword Coast? No. Did I buy Icewind Dale for Winter's Bane? No. Did I buy Morrowind for its far too numerous mods to name? No.
When I buy a game I buy it for what the Developers put into it. Mods are just an added bonus.
My first post was telling people that the Visceris in the thread wasn't me, then I got a long pointless argument with RPGCodexers, mostly with Exitium. HAHAHAHAHA!
A lot can happen in the time of 20 months.
I will never understand racism. I mean there is only one race of sentient life on this planet and that is the human race. A human is a human, regardless of pigmentation.
Well, the kobold saw the monk as the biggest threat and was standing right next to him. If you were a kobold with a one shot wand of fireballs about to face a foe that can dodge explosions without a care what would you do?
I simply did what the kobold would realistically do. Either way he knew he was about to die. Might as well take out the biggest threat in the group if he could.
