  1. A little late now, but I do agree. If they do a new Star Wars CRPG series they need to do so that is levelless and classless, something more fluidic and flexible to the story they wish to tell, yet at the same time let the player to make his or her own character instead of being shoe horned or forced to play a character type he or she does not want to play.
  2. You are right there, Haitoku. There is no levels in Star Wars' eh Lonewolf. Gee, what is this in my book collection. The Star Wars Role Playing Game from Wizards of the Coast which KotOR's rules system is based on. Wow, I see levels.
  3. Going above level 20 is ridiculous. There is no such thing as epic levels in Star Wars. I found this a very poor design decision on Obsidian's side of things. Also giving a game a sequel where the first one tied things up very nicely and left no real room for one is equally stupid.
  4. Indgo Prophecy is good.
  5. Well, Bioware's last difficult game was BG2 and even then it wasn't that challenging, except for the fire breathing squirrel. Yeah, that killed me.Bioware just doesn't make challenging games. Obsidian seems to be following their lead in that in KotOR 2. Hopefully NWN 2 will be a challenge, a challenge without the cheese.
  6. It's Oh So Quiet - Bjork.
  7. The problem with KotOR 1 and 2 is that they did not use the full extent of the d20 System for the adversaries. They made the PCs Uber powerful in a short amount of time and nerfed the baddies so that they were a push over but when it came to the "bosses" we were so ridiculously high level that they had to resort to cheese to make it challenging even though they weren't.
  8. Fable is a good out of character romp but not a well developed CRPG. Halo 2 is just more of Halo and rather short. Both games are renters, not ones to buy.
  9. Just as long as they keep the cheese factor out of it whatever engine they use it should be good.
  10. Sonne is the only one I have seen. I would like to see more videos of theirs. I like their style. Yes, Baley, it was their take on Snow White. Good Times Roll - Powerman 5000
  11. I am just saying the easiness sucks. The story iin KotOR 1 and 2 are adequate. Not stellar but decent enough.
  12. I don't understand why people would want fur when there are artificial fabrics that are more effecient in insulating against the cold.
  13. Sonne - Rammstein (in the original German) The video is rather weird.
  14. I played Pikmin once and I just had to quickly go to a RE game. The cuteness factor was just too much.
  15. Unless I'm mistaken, Ministry of Sound is the label that released the mix cd that this is on. I think that artist is System F (or something - I ain't a big trance head). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't really know. A friend of mine had a CD full of MP3s and put them all in my music folder.
  16. KotOR 2 is just as easy, if not easier, than KotOR 1. It sucks.
  17. Yes he is. Pagan Born - Incubus Succubus
  18. If they are basing the game on the PnP system then it needs to be as close to the PnP version as possible otherwise it is just using the name and not the substance. If they made a Star Wars based on original rules set I wouldn't have too much problem with it as longit is detailed enough to do the job.
  19. No. I would like to see them incorporate more skills of the d20 System Star Wars PnP game into the CRPG version. Page 75 of the Star Wars Core Rules (Revised).
  20. Leadership is actually a feat, not a skill, in the d20 System. Skills that could work well would be breaking Persuade down to what they are supposed to be: Bluff, Diplomacy, and Intimidate. Astrogate would be a fun/ If you fail your Astrogate roll you end up somewhere else, could severely damage the hyperdrive, or something like that. Also I think they should have timed events and using the rules for travel time in Hyperspace should have a huge factor. Balance, Tumble, Sleight of Hand would be good for a scoundrel. Stuff that are basic in the Star Wars d20 game.
  21. Iran has made verbal threats and nothing more. Of course Bushie started the whole verbal threats and attacks by calling them being part of the "Axis of Evil."
