Your Top 10 NPC's of All Time!
WHat would be cool would be that the protagonist and the antagonist both have talking swords and as you are fighting each other the swords carry a conversation critiquing each other's technique.

Same setting, new twist
That sounds like the main antagoinsts of my PnP Star Wars campaign. Back inthe time of the old Sith Empire, a "True Sith" agent scientist who worked on Malak's Starforge was secretly reverse engineering the Starforge's functions. During the Republic attack he fled using an experimental Starforge heavy fighter, taking his research. At the behest of the Sith Empire he began work on a new Starforge but far more pervasive. With the dark powers of the Sith and a small army he enslaved a remote system. Using the entire system's resources he created a Dyson Sphere with a .5 AU radius with the full functionality of the Star Forge but withthe ability to create much larger and deadlier craft. The scientist had 5 pupils who were rising to become powerful Sith Masters. They slew the scientist and imprisoned her spirit in a sith holocron and killed everyone else at the installation. With the power of the dark side they become one with the captured star and the star itself became sentient. Through the power of this new Star Forge they created bioconstructs of themselves which they can inhabit. Thousands of bioconstruct clones but only five minds governing them all. By this time the Republic and the Jedi eliminated the Sith Empire and the five had no hyperspace coordinates to get back to the rest of the galaxy, so they sent 5 aspects of themselves in cryo on a captial ship with the holocron and saught a return to Republic space through traveling in realspace while the their otherselves await word from the bodies they sent out. They are cold, logical, hiveminded with 5 different hives, with technology vastly different but not wholly superior. Since the PCs have discovered them they and awoke the 5 they sent out they now have a way to return to the Republic though they have realized that after 4000 years things has changed.

If we are going for talking weapons I say Lilarcor (msp?) from BG 2 was quite interesting. A perfect two handed blade for Minsc.

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
If it goes console only and its not ona platform I own, I won't be buying it. Right now, I don't have any interest in owning any of the next gen consoles. I am leaning towards a PS3 but I will be upgrading my PC first and foremost before I get a console.

They are just being perverted, that is all. It is very subtle but obvious if you are in that sort of mindset.

In my PnP Star Wars game Its not Darth Vader, its Emperor Vader. I would have to say Exar Kun.

Well my intrest in NWN2 just tripled =)
In my DnD campaigns I allow space travel but it is real world space and space physics. magic can be used to power rockets and the such if one wishes to try but you better bring along a way survive a vaccuum. Also arcane magic tends to be centered on the world itself so as a wizard moves farther away from the planet the less potent his spells are. Druids become completely powerless because they loose connection to the natural world unless they go back to the home planet or touch down on a new life abundent world and "re-attune" themselves. Clerics, by their nature do not lose power because they are divine conduits of their gods though bring their faith to a new world might tick off the gods of that planet. Sorcerers and bards tend to be infused with magic but still loose "power," abeit at a slower rate, than wizards.

I like both Cassidy and Tycho from the Fallout series. Others that I have liked, but not in my top ten, are Xanos, Imoen, Annah, Mission, VV, Tiax (what a lovable psychotic gnome!), Viconia, and Nines.

Callisto is one of the better villains. That is the type of villain I tend to create in my own writing but not as much as a psychopath. Such as one of the main characters in my script is a bonofied terrorist. He attacks civilian targets, military targets, does all sorts of nasty things from torture to outright mass murder. He has also a human side that has regret in the things he does but he looks at the larger picture. The government in power killed his family, violated him by ripping out his genetic coding, use his knowledge to create weapons of mass destruction, and so forth and so on. He is kind of a cross of Osama Bin Ladin and the Michael T. Weiss character The Pretender.

Best antagonist is one of good alignment. In one campaign set in an alternate earth campaign a player was playing a paladin under the banner of King Richard during the crusades. He was perplaxed by the fact that his primary opponent, his antagonist was also a paladin, Lawful Good, of the Islamic faith. In religion two characters of the same alignment can often go toe to toe battle because their gods or faith oppose each other.

multiple possible antagonists
I think variables and the actual learning how scripting works are the last two bits I need to master. Of course they are the hardest bits to learn. Grrrr... I have been looking at premade scripts and see if there are any out there that would do close to what I want done.

The "What did you just eat?" Thread
The way I did mine was was use boneless chicken breast, slice the middle and stuff some swiss cheese. Bred it then sprinkle bacony bits on top, then bake.

multiple possible antagonists
I suck at variables.

The "What did you just eat?" Thread
I have made those. They are good. Did you fry or bake?

Could one use the NWN Faction system set a multiple villain story line?
