  1. What do you realy want? Congratulations? Well...YOU DONT HAVE THEM! Buy a PC if you dont have one!
  2. Where is everybody and when? I want to know when to surf. GMT, please...
  3. Remember the sith academy? As sith your only choices were to kill and play dirty games. I expected (i'm Revan at least) to take control over the Academy! Or maybe even lead an army agains the Republic? Thats the main problem with Bioware - they dont give you much of a choice.
  4. You've hit a bad time, dude! Sorry! Maybe tomorrow?
  5. I don't think it's from the CD...
  6. Excuse me, but not everyone has DVD-ROM!
  7. Better be delayed than playing something that is "not the top", right?
  8. We all love KOTOR, but we all know that it wasn't the perfect game. What was the coolest thing in the game?
  9. Well thats something that i cannot explain. As i say, KOTOR was made for lightsiders:)
  10. And thats the real bad thing, because the game must be forged by the gamers.
  11. I think that special/unique hilts mus give you "prestige" bonus which increases XP per killed opponent? Well in the movie all sabers have only color crystals, but this is a game, so extra crystals will do nice. A big question (by me): why doesnt the double-saber have two crystals - one for every beam?
  12. What do you think about adding lightsaber combat styles? Maybe like feats, they will add bonus to diffirent attributes, rolls and others. And any single one of them - with diffirent attack and defense moves. That will surely make the characters more diffirent and interessting. Anyone will specialize in his own style(or maybe two or more styles). What do you think? (Sorry, i'm new to the forum and i dont know if this is already discussed)
  13. Darth Next. The next one to be killed.
  14. I think that adding more not mandatory places or planets-just for exploring-will make the game good longer and more interessting. For that we'll have to consult with BG II, Arcanum, Fallout. That will make the KOTOR world more autentic and increase the chance of replaying the game time and time again.
  15. Do you remember how long did Yoda live?
  16. After all Anakin Skywalker was meant to be the most powerfull, but he was always unsure about what he does(whith some exceptions) by making many things that he regrets later. He lack real training and he was clouded by his Sith master -Sidious. I'm sure that with more real jedi training he would be far more powerful. I don't say siths cannot teach, but i'm lightsider and i think light methods are to better results.
  17. From the Movies Most cool: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Dath Vader Most Powerfull: Yoda, Tyranus, Vader, Mace Windu From the Games Most cool: Kyle Katarn, Jolee, Revan Most powerfull: Exar Kun, Marca Ragnos, Revan, Our Hero:)
  18. You want exactly that what the true RPG gamers wants! More options whith the party and more freedom make the good game better. Apprentices are very good ideas, indeed... Hell, have you ever played Arcanum?(nothing to do with the apprentices, but a good game and a true RPG... Sorry if I'm offending someone. After all this is not an Arcanum forum...)
  19. Even when playing as darksider the game changed the storyline at the end of the game! 'Till then everything was like lightside playing! I think KotOR 1 was generaly made for lightsiders. Obsidian must rely look more closely here, beacasue not anyone wants to play a true jedi and any gamer wants the story to be VERY diffirent when playing as darksider. From the beginning 'till the end, with diffirent party members, quests, enemies and the like...
  20. Episode I was a disaster. The Jedis were more soldiers than diplomats and rushed blindly in every fight. The fantastic proves of young Anakin were the biggest s*** in the movie. As for the battle - fantastic! Episode II is far more better. Good storiline and good battles. I can compare him with Episode IV. Second, it is the movie that gave birth to the game, right? I know we all want our KotOR to be the best, but i'll never put him above the movies. (Bit surely above many other games) Third, i would be happy to see new episodes, mainly because this is the movie of my life. Truly...
  21. Absolutely right. The jedi robes in KotOR looked very diffirent than these in the movies. I suggest adding many new robe models for maximum costumer satisfaction. Robes like Darth Maul's, Obo-Wan and Lukes VI Episode "robe" will do.
  22. Bioware have made an excellent game with very cool story and characters. However they haven't done theyr job as i expected. Main weaknesses (by me) are the combat and the character development. I also have some advices about the "look" of the game... 1.COMBAT - The comabt is generaly not bad and in the first few hours it's looking incredebly good. But as we advance in gameplay it becomes more boring and boring. Why? First, the characters (when they are engaged in combat) always stay in one place when they fight and that's making the whole battle stupid. If one of the combatants (e.g. in lightsaber duel) is weaker he will step back to be able to parry his opponent attacks. That looks very logical and inserted in the game will realy make the battle more dynamic and interessting. Second, there were too little attack animations (e.g. one for Power Attack, Flury, CS and maybe no more than five-seven for "normal attack"). That, again, makes the battle boring. Third, the attack animations are so fast, that even when constantly pausing, you cannot see them in slow motion. They are also too complicated and effective (looking effective:) and from the very beginning you have the feeling that your character is a lightsaber god. That is not autentic and by me is a bad decission by Bioware. Please, don't forget the basic attacks, swings and parries! They will surely make the battle better. Make the attacks slower( watch Episode II and VI for the correct speed). Please!... (it will be god if you make the lightsaber beams look more like these in the movie!) 2.CLOTHES - The clothes in KotOR were ,with one word, badly created. First, in combat they (and the hair too) don't move and stay in one place the whole time. Second, there was only one model of jedi robes! Diffirent colours don't make things better. There mus be many models because anyone wants his hero to look good. 3.FOR THE GAME ITSELF... - Bioware made an excellent game but it can hardly be played for second or third time, because almost all quests are there again and you don't have a chance to miss them the first time. You know how boring is this. With simple words - KotOR was "linear". The game was creating an illusion for freedom, but if we look closely we'll see that we are guided the whole time! YOU ALMOST DON'T HAVE TWO CHOICES FOR SOLVING A SINGLE QUEST! Light-Dark side decissions aren't enough! I'm sure you'll know what to do... Also, the game gave you too litle place to explore or do something different than solving stupid little quests and endless stupid, simple fighting! But i must calm down... Anger leads to the Dark Side...( "Only if you knew the power of the Dark Side!..."-points Vader:) Enough stupid points... 4.DIFFICULTY - KotOR was a very very easy game. The only reason for loading was quest-solving.(well... there was some difficult fights, but...) Please, make the game more chalenging! (and PLEASE, different ways to solve these chalenges! Not only LIGHT-DARK and simple hack&slash-this is not Diablo). 5. And an advice for your future projects. The story must be linked more with the characters. Any story like "saving the world" is becoming more and more boring with every game release. Planesacape (and BG II too) are good examples of what the fans want. Don't be tempted to make games like NWN (i'm speaking for the "Single player" it has good multi) and concentrate on good story, characters and combat (i like real turn-based (ToEE, Fallout), but they're, maybe, hard to sell). May the Force be with you. Exar Dulo <_<
