  1. Like the nose! THE NOSE! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE!
  2. Who would name their character after a car?!?!?
  3. Um... PC. PC! PC!
  4. The vulnerability to magic stems from the fact tha the kryptonian physiology has been genetically altered so much that it lost its natural resistances to the supernatural. Also the mental capacity for grasping idealogy of the spiritual realms need to also exist, which the kryptonian mindset is lacking compared to the human.
  5. *pounces on NightandtheShape and shoves a sugar cookie down his throat!* YAY! I hope things work out for ya.
  6. There is very few who can beat Superman. If you are going to go just purely physical not even the Hulk can stop him. However, if you can get through Superman's weaknesses, particularly magic, then he is very easy to beat, moreso than any other DC hero. So Hulk would have a very hard time beating Superman, while Doctor Strange would have it pretty easy.
  7. Besides, didn't Spiderman met Superman in one of their many crossovers?
  8. I also think that buying the game is important. I don't pirate software myself, and in the past I tend to buy games from developers I want to support. However, hunting for that DVD/CD can be quite annoying.
  9. I am all for a more streamlined government but I refuse to have a blind eye to the suffering of others who do need help, Guard Dog. Help that requires the funds and resources only the federal government has. The government is there to serve the people, not the people to serve the government. May that be research grants to find new cures and medical treatments, to those who suffer from natural disaster, or even those who are too poor to afford proper medical care and insurance coverage. By your reckoning, they should just die off as useless rubbush.
  10. And those who can't help themselves due to illness or disability? They should just die and rot, right?
  11. Sorry, but in my view the primary purpose of government is to take care of the welfare of the people it governs. A government that does not serve the people is a government that has no purpose. Bush rather kill people in a useless war by the looks of it, than spend the money necessary to save lives.
  12. Thats different. The constitution requires the Federal Government to maintain the military, so I have no complaint with defense spending. The amount, application and management of it, that is a different story. I was not defending Bush, I was calling Sand on something he said that was wrong. Wow. You find it wrong to find cures and advance medical science so that people will not suffer with crippling diseases and injuries. If that is wrong, Guard Dog, then I don't want to be right.
  13. I just get no CD patches or fixes to bypass Securom. I don't update unless I can get a No CD fix for the new version of the game. The best way to beat SecuROM. Those types of copy protection is just lame. Why punish legit users?
  14. Religious extremists are annoying.
  15. Of course, I really don't like those types of people as well which is why I always vote. May it be local, state, or nation, whenever there is a call for a vote or an election I vote.
  16. The opnly reason they are yielding better results is because they are the focus of all the funding. I say give embryonic stem cell the same level of funding and research then lets see which gives the better results.
  17. Hey, I never said I wasn't weak willed when it comes to certain things. I am addicted to laziness. :D
  18. I still think religion has more drawbacks than benefits and is holding back progress. Without the backwards thinking of religious conservatives and fundamentalists we may have made even more medical advances, but no, Bushie had to veto embryonic stem cell research... AGAIN! We seriously need to get the Republicans out of office.
  19. Addicted? Maybe. However, I am not posting as much as I use to.
  20. Don't worry, he will.
  21. Only the weak willed find themselves to be addicted to something. May that be TV, alcohol, drugs, sex, video games, smoking, and whatnot. The individual has a choice to either succumb to that addiction or not. The individual has a choice, plain and simple.
  22. The powr station here recycles trash, in which anything that is burnable and can be used for energy is used, the rest goes to a landfill. It is then supplemented by coal. A while back there was talks about making a nuclear power plant but I think that fell through.
  23. Now if Sega and EA merged...
  24. Sega is doing pretty well in my opinion. Its good for the to just focus on games instead of making consoles, even though I did prefer the Sega consoles over the Nitendo's. If Atari should fall Sega should take over the DnD franchise.
  25. Well, that has to suck. I hated it when the government uses loopholes like that. The landlord here pays for gas, water, trash, and whatnot, but a few friends who have houses told me that their bill rarely goes about $180. Utilities are cheap here in Ames, but the housing is not.
