The obvious question is... How does this work exactly? The press release makes it sound like Obsidz is working in a support role. And is Red Eagle publishing, or EA?
I have no feelings on this one way or the other.
The only things I know about Wheel of Time are A. The series is incredibly bloated and never ends and B. The covers have a run-of-the-mill high fantasy aesthetic.
I would much rather see Aliens. But no use complaining. Hopefully they can make a game worth playing. Maybe all that bloat means that Obsidz has free reign of the setting.
I assume this is what Feargus is heading up. What a nerd.
Is there anybody out there who wants this game and wants to get 10% off it? Because I'm in with 3 other guys on a Steam 4-pack and we need a fourth dude.
As far as Oblivion / Fallout 3 and crashes are concerned, I'll just ask if you're playing with mods, because everyone does (and should). That's probably your answer.
So Caesar's Legion has gone from the Nazis of the Fallout universe in VB to "Not all bad" in New Vegas. Maybe the concept got rolled up into the Blackfoot Tribe concept? Who knows.
Nay, there are two skill options in each conversation. Below a certain threshold you will get one of them - that one will fail. Above the threshold you get a different one, which succeeds.
The only thing I've heard about this game is that it's going to take place in tunnels, it's short (12 or so hours playtime) and relies heavily on scripted sequences. Being based on a book, I wouldn't be surprised if that was true.
