KOTOR II Force Powers
I respectfully disagree. I would say, "Give more cool stuff to the Jedi/Sith as well as to the regular people." One example: Mira's super cool, wrist-mounted rocket launcher. Nothing like that was in the first game, and it's liable to make her ridiculously powerful. Just look at the demo video. Your character is slashing away with a lightsaber, making little damage, then Mira fires her rockets and it's all over!

KOTOR II Force Powers
It was a joke!!! Gosh! Relax, man. Loosen up! Anyway, we've all already heard your bit about "oh, no! I don't like jedi/sith! I don't think force powers are cool and lightsabers make me ill! I'd much rather be a Bothan with a bit of a stick than a Jedi any day! Blah Blah!" Let's get back down to business now, please!

KOTOR II Planets
Hmm... okay. Well, once again I bring up Sluis Van. It's a major core world, it's been around a long time. It's a possibility!

Alien Characters
"At this close range, we won't last long against those Star Destroyers..." - Ackbar Yes, we haven't heard many of the languages yet: Mon Calamari, Bothan, Zabrak... And as for Sullusteen... it's not the prettiest sounding language... "Hubbeh manneh manneh hubbye hubbye..." - Nien Nunb

KOTOR II Planets
Sorry for the double post, but I had another idea. What about Bespin? Did the Cloud City exist 4000 years before the Phantom Menace? Did anyone live there at all?

KOTOR II Characters
Anyway... maybe he should be Mira's voice. Sheesh.

KOTOR II Force Powers
Darth Gandalf's response? FORCE CHOKE!!!

Mira profile!
I'm sure it's just a weird angle or something. She can't be all bad. Besides, the game isn't out yet. WIth the overall outcry coming from fans right now, I'm sure if it's a problem, it'll be fixed in time.

KOTOR II Force Powers
And it adds so much to the feel and flavor of the game too... If someone is unwittingly fresh to your Sith Lord character, you should be able to do terrible, terrible things to them...

Alien Characters
Well, Zaalbar doesn't speak Basic, and he worked just fine... But yes, having a rambling Twi'lek could get very annoying...
-
KOTOR II Characters
Yes, he's obviously the new big villain, but where he came from, and why he's angry are as yet unrevealed. I know...! It's a robot that looks like a human, and then when you pull the mask off... It's Darth Malak's Jaw!!!

KOTOR II Force Powers
Yes! There is Force Confusion... See the first part of this thread.

The Amazing 'Glow sticks of death'
You just had to change the graphics settings. If your video card was good enough and you turned the settings all the way up, they had the customary blur.

Alien Characters
That just might actually be cool. You mean the ancient red-skinned Sith race? It would be hard to pull off, but it'd be cool!

KOTOR II Planets
That's right. We have no idea where Revan was actually born. In fact, it stands to reason that they wouldn't program him with his real home planet in case he tried to go there and someone said, "Ahh! It's Darth Revan!" or something.

KOTOR II Force Powers
What about an improved Force Plague? I could never really get into it. It just didn't feel right. When I went Dark Side, I'd always focus on Kill and Lightning.

KOTOR II Characters
Which maksed character? The obvious Sith in the skull-like mask? Or the silver Sith solider-like mask? Which one?

KOTOR II Characters
Interesting? Yes, it would be. What was that game he did voicovers for? Wing Commander? I just want to be able to take the characters seriously. If Mark Hamill was a character, it'd be almost like a joke everytime he spoke. That's what it was like in the movies. "But Uncle Owen, I wanted to go to ... pick up some power converters..."
-
KOTOR II Characters
Yes, yes of course! It's all Obi-wan's fault... Let's just hope and pray that they don't get Hayden Christiansen or Mark Hamill as voice actors for KOTOR II.

KOTOR II Planets
New Planet idea -- Sluis Van. What about Sluis Van? Any thoughts?
-
KOTOR II Force Powers
Hmm... that's interesting. I'd stick with the lightsaber. And yes, the other powers should definitely be used more in dialogue. Come to think of it, you should be able to choose which ones to use in dialogue... hmm.. persuade him, choke him, or ... force whirlwind him? SuUch unpredictable results. Of course, that may not be such a good thing...

KOTOR II Characters
Umm... that's what it is right now...
-
KOTOR II Force Powers
Yeah, that makes sense. I was always hoping for more options like that... Guy in the Tattooine Cantina gets uppitty, eh? FORCE CHOKE!!! Hmm..., not so tough any more eh. Too bad that that was one of only a few times...

KOTOR II Characters
Yeah, but there was hype about I and II as well... George needs some professional writers or something to help him gather his thoughts.

KOTOR II Characters
Yes, I agree, the midichlorians bit was pretty dumb. I don't know what George Lucas has been thinking. I don't think we can expect much out of Ep. III either. In fact, the first time I played KOTOR, I thought, "this is much better than those lame prequels." For one, the plot had depth -- so did the characters, well, most of them anyway.
