  1. I'm sure they will. Unless of course, they just really wanted to torture us a lot... Sigh...
  2. Well, a non-Basic speaker would be interesting. It worked for Zaalbar, but then again, for some strange reason everyone in your party understood Shyriiwook. But no Selkath. No, that would not be cool. The "pathetic fish" really did all look alike. "Pathetic Rules of Pathetic Fish are no concern of mine." - Darth Revan, paraphrased
  3. Yes, anyway, getting back to planets... Would anybody with a little more knowledge like to drop us a hint? I mean, we seem to be rambling a little bit... Like this Nar Shadda thing -- if we're dead wrong, would you like to shoot us down please?
  4. Yes, absolutely. That would make for some fun battles. You're up front doing cool gymnastics moves with your lightsaber, Darth Maul style, and Mira's in back blasting with a rocket launcher! Definitely a recipe for chaos!
  5. Update on characters! Check out this link: http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swkotor_sit...characters.html for Lucasarts' new Mira profile. I guess she's definitely a scout!
  6. Yes, I think more Wookiee interaction could be cool, especially if you had more reason to use the character than the simple fact that Wookiees are cool. What if the mystery Jedi Sentinel was a Wookiee...
  7. Yeah, you're probably right. You never know, though... Heck, I think Jango Fett was only in Episode II because everybody loved Boba Fett in Return of the Jedi and Special Edition: A New Hope. Oh, well...
  8. What species do we all want to see in KOTOR II as playable characters? Now's our chance to give the DEVs some helpful hints! :D
  9. Hahaha! And the galaxy thought Palpatine was just a run-of-the-mill Senator too! Hahaha!
  10. Yes, an evil Kreia would be a difficult plot twist, but since the main character in KOTOR I was an amnesiac Darth Revan, I wouldn't put anything past them, nor would I doubt their ability to pull it off.
  11. Yes, I think that's absolutely right. And if there's more than 10 NPCs, with the party cap at 10 instead, then there may even be a chance of getting her in the party. Boy, that'd sure please a lot of KOTOR fans!
  12. New thought -- what will be different, detail-wise, with the old planets that are coming back. I mean, aside from the fact that Dantooine was hit by a massive planetary bombardment, etc. How will the devs integrate old "classic" material into the new version of the world without making it seem rehashed, yet still being familiar?
  13. This is true. Hence, "new and improved" T3-M4!
  14. That'd be cool, of course that comes back to completely ignored characters, like in both KOTOR, BG and NWN. I thought I saw somewhere that they were doing something so that you'd actually use the characters instead of, um, not using certain ones...
  15. Yep, there's always token deaths. Like Obi-Wan in a New Hope. And even then, he came back as a "Force Spirit" in the sequels. Aren't Jedi wonderful?
  16. That would be cool. It was always mildly disappointing that blaster wielders didn't get a real flourish. Yes, that would definitely be COOL.
  17. I wonder why they chose T3. Maybe because he didn't say much in the first game. I'm not sure. But, I bet we'll be pleasantly surprised.
  18. We know that at least Master Vandar survived somehow. I think we can guarantee survivors on both worlds. And through "star power" all the key figures will somehow miraculously survive. It's like the fire-fights with Stormtroopers. Do Luke, Han or Leia get hit? No. And how many of the bad guy henchmen die? All of them. So it wouldn't be unreasonable to suggest some important familiar faces.
  19. Yes, that brings up a good point -- which characters idolize you and pattern themselves after you; which one refuse to follow you if you're too light or dark? Gosh, this game's got me all excited. Personally, I think someone like Mira might be prone to idolize you. As for the Jedi, I think for example, someone like Kreia would be adamant about her alignment, but maybe Altris or some such will follow what you become. I dunno.
  20. Yes, it would definitely be cool to see Yuthura Ban again. She was one of the few characters in the game to have real depth. I think that's why so many of us left scratching our heads, wondering what the deal was; why she couldn't be a party member, etc. As for Nar Shadda., it definitely sounds like an interesting option. I wouldn't be opposed to it, or to Coruscant. There's so many cool Star Wars planets out there, that I would like to see them include someplace really amazing. But, of course, I will be more than satisfied with whatever they see fit to give us.
  21. Sure. Whatever you say...
  22. Yes, out of the planets would could go to in KOTOR I, Kashyykk was one of my favorites too. Tatooine was so overused in the Star Wars world, and Manaan looked exactly the same everywhere you went (though underwater was kind of cool, in a frustrating sort of way). Korriban was cool, though. What do we know about Nar Shadda?
  23. Hell no! As for the races, I better get a wookiee damnit! I didn't mean to replace one of the old classes, just in addition to them -- something new. And a Wookiee wouldn't be bad; I just don't know whether or not they'll give us another one. Maybe "the Ghost of Chuundar."
  24. Well, after reading all of that mess, I know I'm confused.
