I don't think that you can compare the ending of KOTOR1 to 2, but I did like the ending it was good. I love the game and am playing it through the second time myself, I have almost beaten it again.

The story, the twist, almost everything was good. The only thing I had a problem with was when you were underwater or out in space, how slow everything was.
