Or even If it will happen. I don't know what is the policy but for some people devs seem unable to confirm intention of releasing on GOG. It happened to me that I bought a game on steam assuming there will be no GOG release, only for the game to pop up there couple hours/days later. They lost couple full price sales from me like that. -

The problem with GOG is that it is all nice and well but I own at least two copies of Isolation already. Not gonna rebuy it on GOG. Not being able to get bigger releases day 1 really hurts them, I think. -
Box has always been in the game - it’s the thing Shadowheart has. The game just gained ways to make sure you have the box.

What if that boi is Henry C.? I saw you have seen my first impression thoughts over at Larian's forum. After thinking on it for a while longer - I just think this is a wrong use of reactivity. Reactivity should "react" to player's actions decisions - create an illusion that game reacts to choices the player has made. This doesn't do that - this works hard to cancel players actions. It's the same thing they did with Godwoken prince in D:OS2 - yes you can kill him, even have a choice to let him live or kill him, only for the game to retcon it multiple times because he is story critical. The end result is that there is "intended" way of progressing - even by Sven admition some solutions don't work very well and I personally haven't experience the very silly ones.

Owlcat doing 40k RPG.... is potentially compelling. I am not a 40k fan, but I enjoyed some of the games. I do wonder how it will holdup without spectacle - when I think of 40k this is mostly what I think of, chainsawing orcs in Space Marine, bloody clash of armies in Total Warhammer or Dawn of War. Not sure how much there is to the setting outside of that.

A third of PS first-party releases are to make their way to PC by 2025 and Returnal might be coming to Steam, if SteamDB listings are to be trusted. Shipbreaker came out of Early Access and is as entertaining as it was when I first played it. Still some wonky physics. Hitman3 got Ray-tracing mode if one fancies cutting half to two thirds of their frames. I will take 144 FPS over 40-50 FPS, thank you.

What are you Playing Now? Who needs a life anyway?...

My Stellaris experience usually goes like that - I install it, buy bunch of extra content that was release since I last played it, then I play it for couple evenings, get distracted, try to return to it, but can't remember what is what and where, and why. I spend one session just trying to recall what I was doing, get frustrated, uninstal the game and wait for the next cicle like that. -
You kiddin me? Mooncrash was brilliant. I wish Deathloop was half as good. Apparently Deathloop wasn't based on Mooncrash but yeah, it's difficult not to compare the two. Prey was easily my fav in recent Arcane catalogue, though I am generally interested in any singleplayer immersive sim... Multiplayer system driven game has potential - I found multiplayer to be the only remotely interesting thing about Deathloop - though good luck creating game that can handle it. Arcane titles always feel like they are barely holding together as it is.

If thrown weapons are introduced to Eora...
Wormerine replied to Wormerine's topic in Avowed Speculation
All you need is for the stick to be big enough. A nice, throwing stick carved from adra sucking souls of the enemies into it. -
...throwing sticks (Boomerangs) might be a cool option. Would fit Eora's more grounded, and ethnically diverse character.

I wrapped up RDR2, and started Death Stranding. It’s…. interesting. My 2nd Kohima game after MGSV. Cutscenes are captivating in spite of being way too long and full of nonsense. Hiking I like. i want more hiking games. Losing balance and tumbling down a cliff is hilarious and fun… at least for now. I find use of recognisable actors to be distracting. -

Hmmm… might give it a go sometime in the future. In spite of my previous criticism of RDR2 it is a game I imagine myself returning to. I started epilogue. It was harder then I thought -
Not yet, outside in-engine trailers. It had a release date though. From what I understand it is not unusual for Bethesda to keep things underwaps and then shows lengthy game presentations closer to the release - so many expected details in upcoming Microsoft showcase. We will probably still see it there.

That's the thing - I found Witcher to be more on a Terry Pratchet side, then grim and dark. It's like a parody of a parody of a parody. Fantasy spaghetti western with dark twists on popular fairy tales.
