  1. I'm pretty sure I'm just a few missions away from opening up the last island.
  2. There are a lot of tough descisions to be made in the story mode.
  3. here were more co-op missions than Hangman?
  4. It's just the one, but they've said that the downloadable content will be geared toward more co-op missions.
  5. Not the way I play them.
  6. I don't know, the hooker and stripper minigames were very well done.
  7. What time is lost on?
  8. I'd like to do the co-op and cops and crooks tomorrow or soemthying. I probably won't be on tonight.
  9. Bling isn't an adjective, it's a noun. Learn the gangster lingo yourself.
  10. It deffinetely wasn't that expensive here.
  11. I don't know if the story is better than previous games, I mean, I think it is, but a large part of that might be that it's just easier to follow, because the cutscenes are like, May percent better. I'd really like to post more, but I can' stay away from the game for too long.
  12. Speaking of drooling, try going to the strip club and get three lap dances in a row. Not that I've done it or anything.
  13. But that goes against the gangsta's primary directive.
  14. Don't listen to Llyranor and his filthy smutt pedaling. The $50 and $70 hookers are deffinetely worth it. Not that I tried it or anything.
  15. They said the fitness stuff from last game wasn't going to be a part of this game, so I don't have any hopes for my big gutted slow moving character getting any less gutted and slow moving. And yeah driving is so much harder, and driving a motorcycle is completely ridiculous.
  16. And with the heat the previous games have brought, there will probably be a 100% chance of Krookie getting carded and not a 58% chance.
  17. Gamestop was ID'ing everyone, regardless of how old they were/looked.
  18. Oh, and strip clubs work pretty similarly to San Andreas, only this time the strippers talk to you while you're getting a private dance, so it's easier to nevermind.
  19. Yes, that matters if you're gay. Which you're not. I think I've expressed my feelings on playing a non-handsome character and how difficult it is for me to do that. The story is good so far. It's also nice that you don't get sucked into some sort of crime world right off the boat like most of the other GTA games, and it's paced pretty nice to where the first few missions you don't really have an idea of where the story is going or anything, and there isn't really a heavy story at first so it's easier to get used to the enviroment.
  20. For now I've decided that I'd rather be playing the game than writing a review, but I'll talk about what I can. On foot Walking and running ad sprinting. Those are the three modes you have. Without hitting any buttons and just moving the control stick, it's walking, and it's mindnumbingly slow. It's nice in the sense that you can realistically blend in with normal people becausse you're just as slow as them, but I'd still prefer how previous games were set up. Holding A lets you run, and tapping A is sprinting. Now, there's another cosmetic problem with the walking/running. Whenever you change direction Niko does this wierd lean to the side you're turning. I mean it looks more like he is walking on an angle, and it's creepy looking. I haven't sene much combat being only two and a half hours in, and not going around just killing people, but when I was in combat, it seemed very sluggish. When I'd punch or shoot it seemed like there was a lot more time in between each punch and shot of the gun. I don't think that's a problem, the other games everything seemed unrealistically fast. I'll have to get into more combat for a better opinion, but Niko's sluggishness may be due to another issue I wanted to bring up. Niko is fat. He isn't like, extremely obese or anything, but it looks like he has a bit of a belly. Or a lot of a belly really. Maybe it's just his clothes, because GTA games never really could make jacket look not fat. Driving Driving is different now, it's more realistic than previous games and the cars don't handle as easily. A nice feature I noticed was when I got into an old beat up car, Niko has trouble starting it, and when it is going down the road it will let out some smoke from the tailpipe and make a stereotypical car backfiring sound. Misc. Dating seems to be revamped, and I went on one date that I think was through the story, but I'm not sure. As they said they wanted to blur the lines between story missions and side missions, and they actually did a pretty good job of that, because side mission type things will actually call you on your cell phone, and seem to have an idea of the story and don't seem out of place. I went on the internet for a little bit, but I didn't see much, I think I'll have to wait until I find out stuff online like secrets or something (read: porn), but I think it's a cool novelty that I might come back and visit later, like watching T.V. Hookers a a little different. I only tried so I could give a better review though, and in no way rely on this gameplay feature to get me off. So, the hookers actually move in your car now, and you can choose between three priced jobs, $20, $50, and $70. My character was a chep bum, so got the $20 special, which turned out to be a clothed HJ. So, all you see is a hooker's hand going up and down over Niko's pants. I don't even want to think how crazy it will get at the higher prices. I'm going to go play the game some more, I'll post more later today.
  21. I already told you I'm barely legal. Having to stand in line with a bunch of undesirables was almost enough to make me want to just go home and not get the game. I'm glad I gotit though. I only played two and a half hours tonight. Too tired to write about it. July all across the board.
  22. You should call. The one I got it from I called a few hours ago, and I had to go in and buy it and they are only giving copies to people who already bought it, so they don't have to deal with money.
  23. Leaving in 30 minutes to get it.
