Gamespot TSL Game Guide Now Up
mastaGAW replied to Aristademis's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That guide has a few some inaccurate things in it but even though I'm a member I don't know how to contact Gamespot and tell them their guide for the original was better and more accurate. -
To all naysayers yet to play the game
mastaGAW replied to mastaGAW's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I am not part of the fanclub of Obsidian Sifixs. You people around here are an example of ruining the game for someone who hasn't had the chance to judge it themselves your're making Hades doubts he already had worse. Other people read and then it affects their own opinions before they form them its subliminal. Oh well its Christmas Eve no point in trippin. mastaGAW es muy inteligente y guapo. Ya can't fool me with yo espanol da*n it. -
How many people truly know or care about those levels those comparisons are based on some game I believe they are talking mostly story wise.
-
Kreia didn't say if you fight a true sith you won't stand a chance she said if you fought an old school Sith or Jedi Master you wouldn't survive because their lightsaberskills are so much more superior. That's what she said on Korriban

Who Do You Think Should Make KOTOR III?
mastaGAW replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Just because we can't communicate with animals doesn't mean they have a lower form of intelligence han them. You can train a dog to somewhat understand human languge but we can't understand them so from that logic you can say they're smarter than us. -
dack has the right equation it took me a while but after thinking about it I got it off the top of my head.

To all naysayers yet to play the game
mastaGAW replied to mastaGAW's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
What da F**k are you talking about. Are still on that D20 bull. When will you realize most people that play KOTOR have probaly never even heard of that including me until I came on this sight. Why are you so inflexible. Open your mind and get over it sometimes you people have to get used to change it's a part of life. -
This game was better than the original the only flaw was the unfinished rooms in some places. KOTOR is its own game comparedto KOTOR1 I just went back to the first one yesterday and realized how the atomshrere was brighter than in 2. My eyes even seemed to have to adjust to the Ebon Hawk camera angle.

If you think the story isn't confusing except for the wound in the force part a little. You have to look and listen to everything including the Chronicles at kotor2.com , the loading screens, and listen to the characters. I use all my characters evenly because in both games I mapped out a pair for each planet trigger points aren't that hard when you're in a situation that might be one just save and experiment with the character you know the dialouge choices might fit. That's another reason why people should have to save games for each character they create. Also as a tip threatening HK-47 raises his influence.

To all naysayers yet to play the game
mastaGAW replied to mastaGAW's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
People shouldn't even count an ending with overall gameplay because the ending of the game isn't the game experience you are interacting with it's just something before the credits. This game's ending was ment to be open for speculation and a begining to the next adventure. Yet some can't look past this and be open-minded wanting every little detail then come on the forums and ruin the game for others before they get to play it and make up their minds for themselves if the game is good or not. & -
They don't explain exactly what he is that is left to speculation but the game clearly says he was one of Kreia's students at Trayus Academy.

To all naysayers yet to play the game
mastaGAW replied to mastaGAW's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You get higher levels inthis game than the last because you face more enemies and get experience from your skills. Hades you seem to be the perfect example of why you shouldn't read reviews and too much negativity about a game you are anticipating. The game is not a bug fest either but in case you do have a bug have 2 files for each of your characters. -
KOTOR II: from the eyes of a Star Wars FANATIC
mastaGAW replied to global_74's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
then, you obviously dont know enough about the game to speak on it. you should actually PLAY the game before you defend it so vigorously. If you play the game as a LS Jedi, then you will see the scene in question, (she and Carth are talking to each other) and its a terrible way to showcase such a major character from KOTOR I. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You see her in that scene if you say Revan was lightside. If you say Revan was darkside you see when you blow up the door with the holocron in it on Korriban she is on the holocron. Most people that played the game probaly killed Yuthura espescially if they didn't look at guides. I didn't know you could save her until reading a guide on the internet after already playing through the game it isn't obvious so most probaly people didn't do it. -
Sion was more powerful than Malak because without actually having the Star Forge by him he could continously feed of the force and keep himself alive. The reason Kreia didn't challenge Malak is because if you read the chronicles she didn't become a Sith Lord until after the Jedi Civil War and that wasn't her purpose to be a Dark Lord of the Sith she was a teacher that guided others at Malachor and was really good because she wanted balance in the galaxy. She didn't want the darkside to get too powerful and be unchecked nor the so called "lightside" jedi and their corrupted philosophies to be unchecked. So she tried to use you to destroy both. If she had found a way to eliminate the force they wouldn't have to worry about that in the first place. She wanted the galaxy to stand alone without dependence on the force and its will.
-
Thats the darkside ending. Did you listen to any of the game most of your questions were answered clearly if you listened to the characters when they were talking or looked in your journal. The loading screen even said who Nihilus was and how Malachor got the way it was. Bao Dur created a gravity bomb. It's also a no-brainer everyone in the Ebon Hawk didn't die because Kreia told their futures most likely the Exile went to Malachor by his self You know one thing the game did that makes no sense. If the gravity's so strong that you can't fly a ship to Malachor without crashing why doesn't your character get crushed by the gravity.

If you haven't played KOTOR2 yet don't read reviews or come on the forums because you will be convinced he game is worse than it really is when its a great game. If you listen to what other people have to say about things like the ending and bugs it will most likely stay in the back of your head when your're playing and ruin the experience. This game is great don't let other people give you spoilers or ruin it by pointing out flaws before you play it. The ending wasn't even bad because it was really a begginig of a new journey and answered many questions if you asked questions and listened to the dialouge for example manycomplain about the game not revealing Canderous as Mandalore but if you listen to the dialouge somebody in the ending says this won't say who because I don't know how to do spoiler tags. By reading what other some people have to say you'd thank this game is a bug's nest. If you are worried about bugs the simple solution is doing the obviuos thing and making 2 save files that way if one gets corrupted you will have another. Discover the beauty of the game yourself by avoiding others opinions and criticisms. It worked for me (w00t)

Ending and other KOTOR 2 thoughts
mastaGAW replied to bigritchie's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I looked at Kreia as good in her own way. It seemed that she was looking out for the greater good and future at the end. -
Kreia says Canderous is Mandalore if you ask her about Canderous in the ending.
-
I like the ending it left the game open for interpretation and if you asked Kreia she answered many questions going into the future of Star Wars. She said the Republic would fall but it will take millenia and she said the Mandalorians would die out until reduced to a man wearing a suit of armor too easily killed by jedi obviously Jango Fett. You have to respect the ending for what it is its a good cliffhanger that leaves you waiting for the next game. The way the game is left open also should make it easier for KOTOR3's story to be made for the develeopers. Its better than the original's endings by adding mystery and making you feel the next game offers something greater than both combined. When playing a game you shouldn'teven judge an ending because it isn't truly part of the game because your're not interacting with it and all it's supposed to dois end the story or in KOTOR2's case begin a new one.
-
Many questions within the game about origins areanswered through the loading screens and chronicles. I believe these true Sith are the Sith Canderous was talking about in the last game who retreated to their empire after the Mandalorian Wars.
-
in the Trayus Academy Sion learned pain which kept him together after Malachor and Nihilus learned hunger which I believe kept him alive. He must have been some sort of sentient alien to have went to Trayus Academy to train the first place. I like that this game doesn't tell everything but I belive it's obvios Sion is some sort of alien due to the fact that everyone can understand his language. He is the Shang Tsung of the story.

Do I Have 2 Kill Her.............
mastaGAW replied to XboxSithLord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hanharr's personality and story is better than Miras. I probaly think its more interesting because his mind his deranged and he twists all the wookie traditions to match his serial killer mind. -
Who Do You Think Should Make KOTOR III?
mastaGAW replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I have two characters files and have played the game on both to the last planet (though not beat it yet) and have yet to encounter a bug. I read no reviews before playing this game(and still haven't since I haven't finished it)so I wouldn't have a reviewer's opinions, qualms, or expectations of the game in the back of my head but I believe many have embellished and exagerated greatly about the bugs in the game. -
The Exile his story was more interesting. I like the stlye of storytelling about the Exile better than Revan because the galaxy doesn't revolve around you, but back on topic The Exile is better. Revan I believe is more powerful and well known than The Exile but The Exile's unique gift in relation to the force gives him the upper hand. PS: Darth Rellik I do believe KOTOR was a good game but in my opinion KOTOR2 had more good twists in it because the story was more of a mystery than in the original in which everything in the story was more straightforward.
