Devs assume too much when giving instructions. Readers are already confused, so..... Step 1. Should read... On your phone, open the Pathfinder Adventures app, go to main Menu>Options >Settings>Link Step 4. Should read... On your PC, Open Pathfinder Adventures (through your Steam link), go to main menu...etc, etc To simple minded folk like me, when you make instructions brief, I go wandering into phone settings, Steam settings, Obsidian account settings. I.e. All the wrong places.

Where do you go in steam to enter the link code? You need to have bought it on Steam first, open the game and go to options on the main page and then Settings, near the bottom of the settings page is the "Link Device" option, I will put together a quick guide with pictures after work if no one else has. The menus are near identical in the Android version (minus the resolution / full screen options). I think I've got it. You are opening PA both times. Once in Steam, and the other in Mobile. Generate the link code in one and enter it in the other. Does it matter which side you generate the code in?

​The way I see things is: Buying the discounted version on steam now should be fine. Playing the steam version before linking accounts runs a risk. Think of it. You have a collection of toons on Mobile. And you build a new set of toons on Steam. You now have more than 24 toons when you add the Mobile and Steam platforms together. How is linking going to be able to properly reconcile between the two platforms. I'm betting its going to be ugly before its fixed. So guys, I'm taking it slow.

Yup. And, right now my mobile crashes whenever I try to enter a game. So I'm not playing until the ambassador reward is issued. Days? Weeks? Don't know.

Here is my best understanding, scouring through all the post. On the Pathfinder Adventures home page https://pathfinder.obsidian.net/ Once you have logged in you see your ID in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Click on it and there is a selection for "My Products". Select it. I believe that is where you will see the Steam discount code, and a DLC code for the Ambassador program. At this moment, no codes have been posted yet, so you don't want to buy from steam until you have your codes. I hope this is all correct. But not verified. Someone please verify or correct when you figure this out. I still do not know where to link the playfab (pfid) and steam accounts. Which do I go to (Steam, Obsidian, elsewhere) and how do I link?

Did you log into Asmodee.net? Do you need an Asmodee.net account for any of this? If so, what for?

I believe that I got the correct reward last night. Part of the issue was that I was expecting rewards for each level 40, when I got only one level 40 reward.

Ok, here is the morning update There are now 22 chest. It appears that I received a 6,000 gold reward overnight along with 10 chest over the night. This appears to be the proper reward for one level 40 toon. So.... in total. I got the chest rewards for 2 of the 11 level 40's. Then... I got 2 more chest from the initial upgrade And I got one 6,000 gold reward plus one 1,125? Gold reward Hey, when do you get to sleep again? I went back and checked again. I did get Nathan's dice. So, if the intention was one set of rewards for any number of level 40's, then I have been over-rewarded. So, I don't know if this case should be closed.

Sorry, more questions I thought that I was ready but.... You refer to the coupon code. What is it? I can find no product page or reference to a product page by search. Again, so sorry, but I can't solve this without a bit of clarification.

Latest IOS on tablet Drdior 9252 pfid 2d3c0b871245c600 Upon update, I found the following Quest was removed, which included 11 level 40 toons and 1 level 32 toon Reward was 2 treasure chest and zero gold I don't think that this is the reward that was indicated. update: 10:40 PM I started up PA. Now, there are 12 chest instead of 2. Gold has increased by less than 1,000. I had not made a note of the old gold amount. So something is happening, but it is not working like it should have for 11 level 40 toons and 1 level 32

IOS latest version Drdior 9252 Pfid 2d3c0b871245c600 In two cases, the app simply crashed. First, login, then start. selected my party and then tried to enter party selection. Crash. Second, login, then continue. Crash So far, I haven't been able to go to character selection. Based on other post, I'm afraid to start a new party. Update, June 18 I have successfully linked my Mobile Ios account to my PC steam account. My toons are playable on PC. However, as before, PA is completely unplayable on my Mobile account. Any action that I attempt with a party results in a crash. I have 18 toons, almost all are maxed out with high level equipment. After successfully linking and playing on PC, I deleted my Mobile version and reloaded, then loaded the patch demanded when I started up Mobile PA. The link was still there. My inventory was there. I just can't do anything with my party.

When entering PA, I had to update in iTunes Store Quest mode rewards did not work. 11 level 40 tunes and 1 level 32 toon. Reward was two chest and perhaps 125 or mayber 150 gold. I already entered a trouble ticket, so I could not enter a second on the reward issue.

Do I have to install Payfab on my tablet or PC to get the PFID that you are referring to?

Your PlayFab ID is the 16-digit code found in the settings menu of the app (PFID). It actually stands for" PlayFab ID" (the game's cloud back-end), not "Pathfinder ID" as a lot of people have just assumed over the course of the last year. I still have a problem. I've looked in the PA mobile settings and in the IOS tablet application settings for PA. There is no 16 char code.

I think this is very reasonable. Thank you. Just to be perfectly clear....what is the playfab ID? I only know my ID within the Mobile game. Of course I already have my steam and obsidian accounts Also, when you refer to rewards...I assume you mean in Mobile, Challanges, Rewards.

I'll talk to some people over here and see if we can announce what we will be handing out to Ambassadors. Don't forget to answer "when". If I don't see any reward on mobile, I'm inclined to wait on purchasing the PC version until this is cleared up.

I bought the bundle, and I spent gold to buy 6 alt characters. In quest I have every base character at level 40. I hope this means a nice reward when I buy the PC version. We shall see shortly, but only if this reward system applies as soon as you buy the PC version. If the reward is delayed, then what?

I always thought that quest mode would be an attractive match to multiplayer. Just my opinion. Possible to even create head to head matches.

All sounds good to me. Strange that nothing was said about multi-player. That would give the game a whole new dimension.

The other armors consist of only 16 of the 36 pieces. So, when I keep getting deck 5 armors, with all other things being equal, I should get a good number of the shields. It makes no sense that I get all the others (even though I may have only one piece as in the winged shield) and I never get this shield.

DrDior 9252 Latest IOS on tablet This is a very odd case. I have 36 deck 5 armor pieces. 20 of them are Spell Ward Shield. In the past, I picked up 4 (I think), in PA scenarios. Now, I never pick one up. I started testing my hypothesis by running deck 5 and deck 6 scenarios, specifically aiming to pick up armors. While I often get a deck 5 piece, I can never get the shield. I have picked up a good 20+ deck 5 pieces, to no avail. Could there be a problem using a 20 count threshold. I don't know. The odds on getting this result is so long against it, I doubt that this is just happenstance. Here is an update on the shield not dropping. Due to a crashing problem, I had deleted my parties. After that, the scenarios were all hard, but not legendary. So after some additional failed attempts, I played D6.1 to completion a couple times. Then I tried farming D6.1. Indeed, after a handful of attempts, I got the shield to drop. I believe that all the conditions stated below may not cover everything. In this case (Spell Ward Shield), I believe that you won't get the drop until you play (or possibly complete) at legendary level. I have not seen any thread to support this, but my anecdotal evidence very strongly supports this analysis.

I've mentioned this one before in another thread. Spell ward shield + Superior ring of protection. This combo gives you 5 points of protection against any type of blockable damage.

I was playing around with Velociraptor. It's a nice 2d6 bonus to attack, but you have to explore with it to make it work. I've found it to work well with Harsk and Eagle abilities. Here is an update the Velociraptor strategy. If you are lucky enough to catch multiple raptors for Lini's kit, then you can peek with any other toon, then let Lini move and attack with here excess raptor. My wild Lini has 4 raptors, and she is a lot of fun to play this way.
