  1. I agree it's not a great card, though not sure that makes it worthy of posting in the technical support forum. At least the art looks cool.
  2. As a programmer, I understand that fixing things is easier said than done, but I really hope Quest mode gets fixed at some point. It's my favorite part of the game. If it can't be fixed any time soon, I'd rather see it rolled back to when level 30 was the max character level than have it removed entirely. The ability to forfeit or otherwise abort post-mission rewards might also be helpful, since that's where most of the game breaking bugs seem to occur that lock us out from playing.
  3. The quest mode is currently bugged for a lot of people with that issue. The developers are currently out on holiday, though they said they would work on fixing it after getting the main campaign bugs worked out. Right now I'm just playing various parties in the main campaign, but I sure do miss Quest mode. On the bright side, the current weekly holiday reward is just (?) 500 gold. They already gave everyone the holiday sweater due to the bugs people were having getting credit. You'll see a copy in your vault, though you'll need to find a copy during play to give it to one of your party members.
  4. Normally it should say you have (as an example) 4/5 blessings, and then you click the continue arrow on the right if no blessings were collected to replace them. Then it should show default stuff from the box; in this case a stack of 30 or so of the basic "Blessing of the gods".
  5. The daily quests were changed to award you the gold immediately (the way it was originally), so you don't need to go to to Pickup rewards anymore. I assume we might need to go there for the holiday "4 daily" completion award. The quest mode bug with excessive card feats being awarded has been acknowledged by the devs on another thread in the support forum, so hopefully that will be fixed soon.
  6. Try selecting one character, acknowledge the window that pops up, and then instead of picking a role and feat, click each of the other characters in your party (also not making any choice selections). Then go back to the first one and select your role/feat. This trick seemed to work for me and a couple others.
  7. This is apparently still a bug in 1.1.6. Posting in this thread, since it popped when doing a search on Inspired Dexterity.
  8. Same problem here. Most of my party is level 40 in quest mode, and it wants me to pick 4 new card feats total. It's like it doesn't recognize they were already rewarded. My level 38 party member is up for 3 card feats that I've already allocated previously.
  9. I just thought back to what I actually did when I ran into a similar problem. What happens if you look through the power options for all the characters before you start choosing any? Ha, I actually did that before seeing your reply, and it worked! ^_^ So for anyone else that runs into this particular bug, I basically cycled through each of the characters before choosing a new feat for any of them, then was able to pick an upgrade for each of them. The UI still acted a little jumpy, but it didn't get stuck like it was doing previously.
  10. Unfortunately I tried that but it didn't work for me. If I pick a role for Val first, then Kyra or Lem bug out when I pick their roles next. If I force quit and pick Kyra first it works okay, but then when I pick Val or Lem they get stuck. Basically whoever I pick first works fine, but I can't complete selections for my party so my game is basically stuck at this point.
  11. Slighty different circumstances, but I'm also stuck in the Quest Rewards screen. Valerios, Kyra, Lem all hit level 31 at the same time, so it wants me to pick their Role. Whichever character I choose first works correctly. When I then pick the next character, it tells me to click Roles, I make a choice, and then the Powers selections screen get stuck. I can't scroll it up or down, and tapping on any of the available Powers does nothing. I can click the Role button again and look at the other role page, or click on my 3rd party member, but I can't complete my Role selection for them either.
  12. Thanks much for the update! Would be nice to playing Deck 4 already, but I'm okay with rolling another party to pass the time until then.
  13. D4s just hate me in general, even IRL. Whenever I roll Kyra's heal I roll a 1 probably 80% of the time. I do it with physical dice too. Knock on wood, but I didn't have this problem when fighting the 2-1 boss on three different playthroughs.

  15. Paizo has Pathfinder posters, shirts, and other merch available on their website.
  16. Odd, it runs smoothly on my iPad 4. Someone said it was laggy on their iPad Air as well, which is even newer. I don't keep my iOS up to date, so I wonder if there's an optimization issue with the latest version.
  17. I don't have the Nexus 7 specifically, but usually stock Android takes a screenshot if you press Volume Down and the Power button at the same time. Hold for a second or two, and it should flash the screen and save as a picture file.
  18. I wonder if this a technical performance issue on your system more than a problem with the UI design. I've seen a couple posts on the tech support forum about drag and drop not recognizing well, but it's been very responsive for me on an iPad 4 and two different Android emulators. I almost always play cards by dragging and dropping into their target areas. The only time I really tap a card to play is when I want to zoom in and read the text. If I already have it up I'll tap to play it, but otherwise I feel I'm pretty consistent with dragging.
  19. Oops. FYI, someone posted in the tech support forum about this. http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86292-character-died-during-scenario/ Obsidian confirmed that you're supposed to get the reward after a reply, but it sounds like it's bugged at the moment. Not sure if it's specific to that scenario or if they're all bugged.
  20. By default, I believe the game gives Merisiel a Dagger and a Dart. Kyra starts with a Mace and a Quarterstaff. None of these weapons have bonuses for proficiency or penalties for not having it. You do have the option at the start to swap out their gear with other basic cards, so there is certainly the danger for new players who don't understand what weapon/armor/spell proficiency does to go awry when making their selections. Maybe they could do something to make bad choices more obvious, but understanding the fine print is a big part of the whole game, so maybe it's best to get used to it early.
  21. Yes, if you replay it Harsk should get the skill feat, and the other party members won't get it since they've completed it previously. I'm not sure how the higher difficulties work yet, though I don't believe you get the scenario rewards again. I think it's mostly an opportunity for more gold and the chance to pick up more boons during the scenario. Not sure what other rewards come from it.
  22. Merisiel is pretty awesome in combat from the get-go! She does need a weapon in hand to be effective, but she doesn't really need weapon proficiency until later on or if playing in large groups. To be effective, make sure to use her Sneak Attack power, which is available in combat as long as she's the only one at that location. It lets you Recharge a card to get a 1d6, or discard for another 1d6. If you get into combat, reveal a weapon card. So long as it's dexterity based (like a dagger or bow), it uses her 1d12 dexterity die, plus the damage from the weapon itself. Then Recharge one of the extra cards in her hand, giving you another 1d6 and putting the card back in your deck (so no loss of HP). If you have a blessing, you can play it for another 1d12. So if you have a dagger, that's 1d12 (dex) + 1d6 (sneak attack) + 1d4 (dagger), and another 1d12 if you have a blessing. And don't forget that other characters can use their blessings on Merisiel's turn to boost her damage as well. The weapon stays in her hand (it was only revealed), so she can go right back to slaying on her next exploration! Most of the higher damage dex weapons let you do extra damage if you're proficient AND you discard the weapon. Most bows don't even increase her damage in combat, they just let Merisiel discard to give a damage bonus to someone else. At the start she can only hold 2 weapons in her deck, so discarding them should normally be a last resort! It's pretty rare that I'll evade a combat encounter unless I've exhausted most of my hand or don't have a weapon available. Otherwise, evade is sometimes useful if you find a really good boon but have no chance to obtain it (like a magic spell). You can evade the encounter so it gets shuffled back into the deck, giving another party member with more appropriate skills the chance to get it.
  23. The game runs well in both BlueStacks and AMIDuOS, which are both Android emulators for Windows. I haven't tried Nox or Genymotion, but I assume it should run fine on either. My only issue with BlueStacks is that the resolution is set to emulate a 1280x760 smartphone, which is rather small on my 1920x1080 PC monitor. If I resize the window it only zooms the pixels without increasing the quality. DuOS works pretty well, but it uses CPU hardware emulation, so that might not be an option for some folks if their computer is more than a few years old. Maybe I'll try Nox later to see how it does.
  24. Only bad thing I can think of is that it would pollute your discard pile, potentially giving you junk over something you want when you're healed.
  25. Agreed. The UI is really well done, but I was thinking that the tutorial might be a bit light for someone new to the game. Related note, are we allowed to record gameplay videos and post to YouTube? I was thinking of doing a Let's Play/how-to-play video.
