  1. I don't know... I guess we can always hope for more (I do too), but I did enjoy the Fallout-esque summaries of the character's and locations you visit at the end. I also enjoyed dealing with Redcliffe's situation, especially since I didn't know of the third option at that time. What would be an example? I know it won't be perfect, but going back to Redcliffe, I was happy to see myself get a verbal lashing from Alistair at the party camp after my solution. That's fair, it is a combat heavy game for sure. I think it's mature in that it's dark, where sometimes the choice you make is the lesser of two evils (or greater, if you prefer). There have actually been posts on the main board of people complaining that it's TOO dark and depressing, so I guess your mileage may vary. That said, the game certainly has its silly moments, so it's definitely not serious all the time.
  2. So you would say that those conditions mimic a call center location?
  3. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people felt HOTU was better than NWN2
  4. What was it you found disappointing?
  5. Wooo, just got my free Collectors Edition
  6. You were messing with his plans. He's not too keen on that1
  7. Modern day sweatshops are.... sweatshops. That often have issues with child labour and extensive working hours. I wouldn't call a call center a sweatshop.
  8. I find filtering out the nonsense pretty hard at the moment haha Though I only looked at IGNs, which had most people giving the game a score of 0.0
  9. @Oner: Try putting it first, just to make sure that there's nothing blocking it (based on your description, there shouldn't be). That should confirm that there's definitely an issue with the tactic.
  10. HAHAHAHA That picture is hilarious!
  11. Well, clearly the problem is the inferior language used.... (Actually...it'd suck if that was the problem). Just doing "bookkeeping" buuuut, the tactic isn't set up below other ones in such a way that it will never achieve it, correct? That is, by your account, it is reachable? Next, can you use Howl manually?
  12. I'm suspect that the poor reviews are not just people making stuff up to try to prove a point. IGN had professional reviews at 9.5, and reader reviews at 1.7. Some people in their reader reviews said stuff like "I will never buy a game that does not have dedicated servers." and "suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck." Many people have it in their heads that the lack of dedicated servers will also mean pings > 100. Which actually is unrelated to dedicated servers, and it more just network bandwidth (unless your computer sucks so bad that you need to steal cycles from networking to run the game). I host listen servers all the time in a lot of games, and not surprisingly, my friends that connect to it all get pings of 30 which is about what we get with the local dedicated servers. I think the lack of dedicated servers is a bad idea, but I also think that there's a lot of misinformation going on out there in an attempt to smear the game.
  13. Hmmmm, what system are you on? I think some people have reported similar issues of the AI literally stopping at the social site.
  14. Taking a quick look in my game, it seems like red tactics are tactics that have some enemy condition set as the condition. I only looked at it briefly though. That doesn't explain wh they don't use them, but thanks anyhow. Is this for all people, or just Dog's howl? What's the condition for it?
  15. I found a lot of these issues occurred when I set the party to "hold position" (only for the bigger fights). I'm not 100% sure, but I think movement, particularly with the WASD commands, can trigger the NPCs to follow you.
  16. I just loaded it up right now. Unless the local copy here is different than what went onto the shelves, Default does say that characters will follow. I agree, and I'm surprised it's not working. Can you do me a favour and take a screenshot of your tactics page?

  18. Default does say that the character will try to chase fleeing targets. I'll look into Defensive. You're on the PC right? I don't remember having that issue, though I didn't stay on Defensive very long with my playthrough because I was having the opposite effect, in that people would move a few steps away, and the AI wouldn't follow them. EDIT: I wonder if they are being chased because as they started to flee, one of the tactics (that is, the tactic, not the Behaviour) was queued to fire.
  19. What slot is the tactic in? What tactic are you using to prevent them from chasing a mob exactly?
  20. From my impression, they aren't really "orcs" in that, they don't have culture or whatever. They are cursed beings that are kinda guideless without an Archdemon, and focused killing machines with one.
  21. I think you only need Blizzard + Tempest
  22. No, Hell Kitty is the adjudicator for what opinions are right or wrong
  23. I don't know about getting her approval to 0 and what her crisis point is, but I know you can at some point just tell Morrigan to leave and she will.
  24. I think expansions tend to make up a small piece of the pie.
