Anti-Dragon Age 2?
I hope that we don't use that joke in game personally.

Anti-Dragon Age 2?
We are calling it Inquisition. (I would have preferred if we stayed with Exodus for the second one too). I'm sure some people will have no shortage of jokes, but not much we can do about that.

Obamacare Guarantees Higher Insurance Premiums
Well, living on huge oil reserves helps pad the government coffers.

What are you playing now?
Dropped 55 points on Dwayne Wade and the Heat, while going 25-31 from the field. I wasn't even really forcing the offense, just had the hot hand and was able to get to the hoop for easy buckets in transition.

Obamacare Guarantees Higher Insurance Premiums
10% provincial tax, and 22% federal tax. CPP and EI pretty much make up for the difference for the first $43k at 15% with the progressive tax rate, so in general I find 1/3 of my paycheque is deducted off my gross. Towards the end of the year I get a bit more as my CPP and EI contributions have maxed out so they are no longer deducted off my paycheques.

Obamacare Guarantees Higher Insurance Premiums
I'm not factoring in the taxes I'd pay on purchases. Non-essential items in Alberta have a 5% GST on top of every purchase. My work provides dental (though orthodontics is never covered it seems ). Though that I have the money to afford braces is a good thing.

Obamacare Guarantees Higher Insurance Premiums
I lose closer to 33% of my income to taxes (in large part because I now make more money). I still feel the motivation to earn more money because I'll still make more money after taxes.

Yeah? And when you stabalize a mood instead of going :_( you go :-l I understand what a mood stabilizer does. I chuckled when I saw that a mood stabilizer has a side effect of not stabilizing your mood, but rather changing it.

Anti-Dragon Age 2?
Ah, well if people are going to believe any old random comment then. We're not making an open world game. We're making a game with much larger levels (in large part thanks to Frostbite), as well as spending more time on areas that are less connected to the crit path of the plot.

Anime - the emotional rolercoaster.
I could agree with ennui, but not so much self-deprecation. I like to employ self-deprecation more as a means of "I don't take things too seriously" and tend to appreciate those that are able to poke fun at themselves as well. Though I certainly don't think it's really ever disguised as being deep.

He was pointing out that a "Mood stabilizer" has the side effect of "Mood changes."

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
From what I know (which admittedly isn't much), I don't think Valve is underestimating support for PC gaming with the SteamBox idea.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
What's the coles notes on Eschalon? (if you can point me to good links that's fine). The name isn't completely foreign to me, but I don't know much about the game.

Obamacare Guarantees Higher Insurance Premiums
I remember when my health care premiums cost like $44/month haha. Then the government decided to fully subsidize it. Of course, it didn't affect me much as my income was so low (student) that my premium was subsidized anyway (they had a scaling subsidy from a floor to a ceiling based on how much your annual income was). EDIT: Fixed hilarious typo.

What are you playing now?
Dropped 38 points on the Miami Heat, including a 20 foot jumper with 1 minute to go to put the lead to 7 and pretty much seal the game. My guy's nickname is "Money" and that's why! B-)

You mean there was more than just one RPG back then?

I always wanted to make games
This has got to be one of the weirdest threads I have seen in a long time. I'm hoping there's a lot of Poe's Law in effect here because otherwise I'm just mostly confused....
