Yes. I have gone through Nar Shaada checking the event switchs with KSE. Now what does happen when you talk to that bounty hunter is it sets the "Exchange Favor" "Exchange Gap" values. After testing these values do nothing at all...don't even know why their tracked other then to waste resources. Now I thought you had to talk to him reguardless to get actions tracked.

The sound your hearing is 3D audio reverb. EAX is the only sound systemt hat does that and is exclusive to Creative Labs/Sound Blaster. If you don't have one of their cards..then I have no clue how your even able to get that sound produced. Post your hardware specs.

Well if your just going to exploit the loot system and get want you like/want anyway. Downlad KSE (KotoR Savegame Editor) and just load in the items you want. As for the voices. Thats because you have an EAX issue. The EAX sound gets stuck some times and you have to manualy set it to default (off) again even if it is default. Go to start-> Program Files-> Creative-> Sound Blaster Live/Audigy-> Creative AudioHQ. In there open the EAX link and set the three to: 0.0db, Infinty, Infinity....save that profile as "No Effect". The problem will clear up.

First go to Dell's site to look for the parts...Dell is very big on proprity hardware, meaning only stuff they remanufacture will work with their system unless the buyer otherwise notes they don't want that kind of hardware. It's likely how your sound settings are configured. Not pointing to the right device for play back, recording and that. start-> control panel-> sounds and audio-> audio tab and voice tab. While that is open check the advanced under volume to see if any of the adjustments is turned down or muted.

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2 Delete that folder, save an save files and Override data before doing so. When you insert the disc on auto-play it will ask if you wish to uninstall due to the registry entires still being there so it can not ask to play as the files are not there and can not ask to install as the registry entires are there. Removing the registry entires instead will just resault in the application being unable to launch and pop up an error.

Then they should be playing in 1024/768 res. If only the movies are still low res then that rules out a setting forces low res graphics.

Amount of RAM can help...but mostly in loading times being reduced. But the board you have is limited to PC2100 which is a low clock of 133. It's not that slow...same clock as a 2ghz processer. I would like to note that your board is incorrectly listed as "P4TGV" when it should be "P4TGV-R". The later has an AGP slot which would support your AGP card the other does not. Instead of upgrading your video card. I would upgrade your motherboard first. Then see how things are after that. It would be easy to get...any board that support Intel and is socket 478 with an AGP 4x/8x slot. A new motherboard will run around $20-$60.

Problem with disabling onboard video is it causes more problems then with it enabled. I have tried disabling it and then no video at all would be displaied. With it enabled it prefores to take front seat and over ride the video card. With it enabled you can't just not install drivers for it. Best option is to not have a motherboard with onboard video...ie, no broads that have chipsets "NForce" or "i8XXX, i9XXX". Both of those are onboard video, NForce being for AMD processers and i8XXX/i9XXX being for Intel processers.

Well the video card you have clock speed wise is not yet slow (core/mem 240/400), same clock speed as Dx9 cards upto a year old not factory OCed (300/500). Cycle time is abit slow, around 3.3ns...Dx9 cards run around 2.8-1.1ns for the newest (NS is how many nanoseconds it takes to render one frame of graphics). Also it is unable to display Dx9 rendering which any title since late last year has been requireing. What will increase what your system can display better is system settings, registry tweaks and system service manageing. Yes this is the only title that I know of where the pile of bugs is so large that graphical and sound glitchs are no more then jokes and humor. Other titles with less bugs those get treated like they were bugs. I don't think even the typos get counted as bugs, most I think get ignored totaly by the over shadowing of other things.

I can play the .wav files from the KotoR2 dir with Miles player. Just right click on the file, select open with...if you don't have an option for open with create a Send to option by creating a shortcut here: C:\Documents and Settings\"User"\SendTo. Which then when you right click go to Send to and open with the short cut link there.

Heres your problem. "Version Intel 865G/ICH5" On board video causes conflicts with video card adaptors. If onboard video is disabled it causes even more problems. You can leave it disabled but it likes to take front seat and over ride your video card. Better option is to get a new motherboard that fits your current hardware that does not have onboard video.

Unless you downloaded the files to somewhere else other then the root for your KotoR2 install, it should just work.

Try with out the 1.0b update. It causes more problems then it fixs and the ones that are fixed no one had problems with.

There is also Gmax and Milkshape which is used in modding alot..due to be free or very cheap in compareson of the more full versions.

I know 2 of the movies only play in low res unless you have mods installed for them to be in higher res. The rest oft he movies should be in high res...or at least 1024/768

I have ran into the thing where Visquis didn't call in one of my runs through. I even tried doing the planet over twice...at the thrid try I tried seeing if adjusting the numbers with KSE would work, but no thats all it did, was change the numbers and proved those mean nothing at all. My fourth go through I listened more closey to what was said and asked. Heres one note. The numbers are not talied either way until you talk to the ex-bounty hunter. You must talk to this guy before ANY action you do is counted as a favor. The guy is right out side the swoopbike shop next tot he door...not swooptrack.

You simply don't have the right balence of deeds done. Only takes 4 points in one direction of favor to get Red Eclipse to show. Need 7 points to get Viscus to call. If your actions balence out the favor so that that you don't have enough points in favor one way neither event will trigger. That will mean that you'll have to start the planet over. Helping the Pilot and Helping the family can not be completed until you have gotten off G0T0's ship.

Yes it's lag. There are points in KotoR2 where shaders are in higher number. At these points the character due to the hardware unable to keep up with the frame rate and scene changes. This will pause display but the engine will keep moving the character until the two catch up. Or the character keeps moving but the UI locks up until the background processing catchs up with foreground processing. You are running on a Dx7 vid card (GeForce4 MX is just a slightly faster GeForce2), KotoR2 is set-up to use upto Dx9. Barely any free HD space (Page File: 297MB used, 952MB available---This is suggesting your max free HD space is currently 952), the more free space the more smoothly operations handle on the system. Out date video drivers 77.30, driver version is now up to 84.21. Out date OS version SP1, most current software is configured to run with XP useing SP2 (Sevice Pack 2). You can also do this. Stop all auto-matic settings for downloads and any other scheduled tasks. Disable/stop any running appllactions that you are not useing from system tray....leave firewall/anti-virus. I could list off a few pages of tweaks to increase preformence: disable unused system services, registry edits, system configuration settings.

I've hung around there for nearly 3 lvl ups That is a spot that really needs a timer on it to prevent abuse.
