Hated GO-TO, hated Visas, didn't care much at all for the handmaiden. Atton was fine, Bao-dur was fine, Kreia was excellent, HK-47 was, as always, awesome. The rest were ok I guess.

Dont know if it's true or not. But even if it is, give it a little time, the prices will come down. X-box 360 will give them some serious pricing competition and steal their business. Then they'll drop those prices right to the floor. Almost always happens that way.

Hahahha Well to be honest I really cant blame anyone for doubting Kotor 3's existance as of yet. There really isnt any proof, or even any evidence of any proof available. So yeah, it's all just a hope on my part. But still, I think it's a little pre-mature to say that it will Never be created. That I find very hard to believe.

Well I really liked Master Zhar, and a few other twi'leks, so I'm gonna vote twi'lek. (Though my favorite characters are humans, but it seems kinda dull voting for a RL species when we're talking SW) However, I think I'll limit that to male twi'leks, because I've yet to meet a female twi'lek that didn't seriously annoy me. (Mission Vao for example)

Anyone think a DirectX 10 video card will be required for Kotor 3? Or just a bonus if you've got it, bummer if you dont, but you can play either way?

Gotta be one of the best things ever said on these forums. 3 worst SW characters of all time, in their proper order: 1: Jar-Jar Binks 2: Rosh Penin 3: G0-T0 Aside from all of that, I can't help but wonder if this next Kotor will be based on DirectX 10 tech. That stuff's supposed to be really next-gen. But meh, I guess we'll see. Oh and btw, my Soresu can beat your Vaapad anyday

Well I finally got myself a decent computer, one with PCI Express slots and everything. So when Kotor 3 DOES come out ( :D ) I'll be ready.

Well, you'll also note that in either case, Revan or Exile, neither are exactly the "perfect Jedi". Especially in the Exiles case. Now in Revans case, he was a powerful Jedi in a time of extreme unrest. So it's a little differant when you've got the Sith trying to wipe the Republic out, than if things were just A-ok and you were going around killing just for something to do. So yeah, it's probobly not as bad as you think.

Facinating... Well I suppose we can be certain we'll be seeing good old Rev in Kotor 3 then. Not that there was much doubt on that point anyhow, but still, interesting.

The suspense of waiting in Fallout was, quite literally, killing me. It looks like the poll question, and the thread title, conflict. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahh how young and foolish you poor blokes are... If we find out who everyones favorite character is, tally up the scores, then wouldnt it stand to reason that as far as the members of this forum are concerned that the character that is the most peoples favorite IS the most popular???

Anyone considered the possability that LucasArts is saving announcing Kotor 3 until their 30th anniversery this coming May? Would kinda provide a little excitement for the occassion I think.

You really can go with-out any weapon but your hands and feet and do just fine. Especially if you take the Consular/Master titles. Lots of force powers, and melee of this kind works pretty well too.

Force wave. I know it's nothing real flashy, but it sure can be handy. I mean, when you play the way I do and go all Consular/Jedi Master options (At least most of the time) your force powers are pretty potent. So when you use a force wave with high charisma and wisdom, you're gonna send everyone on the block reeling backwards. And when they get up they're all dizzy so you've got a wide open path to start chopping down the opposition.

Well it's anyones guess. But I have a hard time believing that LA would decide to just ditch their biggest title like that, even if they did intend to pick it up later. You guys could be on the right track here, but I still would not be surprised to hear them announce that we'll be seeing it sometime by the end of 2008. Again thats just my guess, but I dont see them waiting 6 years inbetween part 2 and part 3. It was one thing for Lucas to wait 30 years before throwing out the prequels, but it would have been suicide for him to do Episodes 4 and 5 and then decide to wait 30 years to do Return of the Jedi.

No, you are on his side. Logic dictates that since we have no information beyond speculation to base our theories on, it's anyones guess. We have equal reason to believe one way or the other. I find it very hard to believe that LA wont be developing Kotor 3 till 2010 as stated before. I think, note the word THINK, it will happen by the end of 2008. Now again, thats my opinion, if Calax's opinion is that it wont be made till 2103 then he is fully entitled to his opinion, and I wont complain about that. What makes me upset is when he says "It WONT be coming till 2010" because there is really no way for him to know that.

Mate, every time I make a statement I say something like "I think this" or "I would imagine that" but I dont say that anything is set in stone or for sure to happen like some people do. Thats all I'm saying.

Again you're jumping to conclusions with-out the hard facts to back them up.

We've got two obvious sides here. The sceptics and the optomists. I dont have a problem with either. What I have a problem with is one side or the other saying "We ARE right and you ARE wrong" when there's really no way to know.

True. But remember, Kotor 2 came out in 2004. At that point I think LucasArts had every intention of making a 3rd release. If only for the sake of finishing the trilogy. Thus they likely started work on it in early 2005. Let me see here... 2005 2006 2007.... So yeah, I'm thinking we'll hear something about it at the end of this year, and probobly will see it in either late 2007 or early 2008.

There is a very old saying... "We shall see what we shall see" When it happens, we'll know, and then we can settle this whole ordeal once and for all. But my money is on the game being released either in 07 or 08. And mate, while I'm sure you're very certain of what you think you know, there is really no way that you can know for sure if the game is in the works or not.
