yes, thats usually why i have to play the game several times to get the whole story; i dont use the guide. to expensive. if im desperate, i use the one on gamespot on my mom's computer, but for the most part i just save and reload often. i must say i actually have always gotten the call from the exchange, no matter what combination of actions i take...

ive heard jade empire mentioned a few times. this is by Bioware, right? might this game be worth buying?

voltage matters? huh, that's probably why my laptop runs the game better plugged than off the battery. im no computer wiz, so i dont know much past the basics (and how to play my games, hee hee)

you should be able to level up as soon as you become a sith...i dont think you can stay as a Sith Lord level 0.

good point, a lot of the planets seem alike. mabye some of the planets from ROTS, like Utapua, the fungus planet (cant remember the name), or Mygeeto (sp?), as only part of these planets were seen in Battlefront II. mabye add some towns onto these planets, native aliens, etc.

hoth, huh? where did you find this? im guessing either this was a very early version, or a modded game. i have heard mentions of modders adding planets...very interesting.

ok, how many NWN games are there? do you have to play them all to get the story? i like the hack and slash somewhat, but i also play games for the plot and the ability to interact with other character. i like a somewhat compicated plot, the more the better in fact, like kotor. it would be nice to have the combat be a little more realistic, rather than just taking turns hacking at each other. however, i sort of liked the partial realtime combat, as it gave me time to collect myself and think through the battle. If not NWN, any suggestions on a game that would fit this description (somewhat)?

actually, the force chain ability was a result of the bond, and i do not believe she created this bond. i think the exile created it unconciously, as she did with the rest of the characters, just that kreia was strong enough to avoid sharing the exile's feelings and impulses as the other party members did.

they are? sweet!!! (w00t) but i still think they should have made TSL dark side cannon, it fits the settings better. the exile gets kicked out of the order when she goes to them for help, wanders the galaxy without the force for ten years, then kreia finds her and gives her the force back. with the sith having almost wiped out the jedi, the exile, still bitter over the jedi not understanding the war and abandonning the jedi who went to fight, decides not to play hero. she sees her opportunity do make them see where they went wrong and kills them. and yes it may be star wars, but im sick of all the jedi being so preachy and the pc accepting this. i wish some character would come along and show the jedi exactly what he/she thinks of them.

Hey Deadly_Nightshade, while you're on the subject of mods in general, do you know if there is a MOD where you can keep mission alive in K1 if you go dark side? that would be cool...

some one mentioned on one of the other posts that if you do just the right (or wrong) number of acts for and against the exchange, your influence with the exchange balances out, and you dont get the scene...try a few more acts of dark or light, this might be enough to trigger the cutscene. if not, im not quite sure what the problem might be... you might have to reload a save game.

good point, carth was fanatically loyal, while han was a freelance smuggler and had no loyalties. atton was not loyal either, he even admitted to being a deserter. and the confrontation with darth malak was much like the one on the death star. being captured by the enemy, escaping, and losing a party member in the process. and of course, the shocking revelation by the enemy, with one of your allies knowing about it the whole time. plus, the light side confrontation on the star forge with the main bag guy (malak/sidious) corrupting and tricking the good jedi (bastila/vader) into turning to the dark side, and the hero redeeming them. last thing, the battle of the star forge/death star with the enemy having a superweapon and the outnumbered but heroic republican/rebel fleet triumphing against the odds, with them depending on the small strike team that has infiltrated the enemy. and just for the record, hk made a much better protocol droid.

ok, this is my complaint on the whole star wars universe and characters. be prepared, if you like light side males, to be attacked. why is it that the main hero/villian of the movie, game, etc. is alway cannon lightside male?! why is there no main female heroines or villians? i mean, look at the clone wars, the galactic civil war and the jedi civil war. Luke & Anakin skywalker, darth vader, darth sidious, darth revan, darth malak, the Exile... i mean, i could go on for hours on all the main male characters. and the games where you have a choice, the characters are always cannon male. the female characters are always support, and are portrayed as weak and needing the assistance of their "strong man hero". and why the games always end as the light side winning? i know people like this more, but not everything goes as planned and it would be nice to have some variety. Cant there be at least one cannon female, or at least a cannon dark side ending?! does anyone else agree with me on this?

i dont buy commic books...they're like $7 an issue, and they take me about 5 minutes to read...not even worth it.

i think that alderaan should only be in K3 as a cutscene, playing it would be to much like playing dantooine, with the mild climate and geography, and occasional city. hey on that galaxy map, there are ten planets. any idea what the other ones are supposed to be?
