No, I don't, but I sort of imagine that I both drink and pee more than I used to which I've taken as a bad indication. Maybe I'm just getting old...

Diabetes thread
Well, I did a blood test about six months ago which looked fine in every respect, but is there any chance that I just "lucked out" on e.g. blood sugar? Or is the fact that you have to do it on an empty stomach supposed to eliminate such potential misrepresentations of the blood values? Oh well, I guess I'm just making too much of everything right now.

My most vivid memory of Desjardins was that hat trick in game 2 of the 1993 SCF. I was 13 years old and watched it in the middle of the night with my two Kings-loving friends. They were obviously gutted and I remember feeling a bit sorry for Gretzky.

The hobbies forum........
I forgot one hobby, but that's because it's more like a lifestyle. It's dressing up as Batman and going to bars with extraordinarily questionable clientele and trying to chat the bartender up with sleazy one-liners. Sometimes I switch from Batman to Spider-Man just for the heck of it, but then of course I can't see anything since the Spider-Man outfit doesn't have any holes for my eyes. So that kinda sucks. I usually switch back the night after. Sometimes I rescue people.

Diabetes thread
Can I develop diabetes without having anything hereditary in my genes to do so? I'm starting to get just a wee bit worried that I may have or may get diabetes even though no relative of mine has it. I'm a hypochondriac since only recently, so I suppose that's one of the main reasons why I worry. When I try to be rational I figure it's nothing, but you never know.

My hobby is watching and impersonating the Fast Show. Other than that, I also enjoy watching and impersonating other stuff.

You know when you have too much time on your hands
I'm gonna get me one of those. Imagine pulling up by the night-club in that!

It sounds a bit odd, but since the transfer agreement fell through I guess it's the only way for him to come over. If he truly was released we should hear news fairly shortly.

It sort of fell on her shoulder after Kirottu shot him, so now she's removing it before accepting Kirottu's proposal.

That's not her foot; there's a dead guy behing the sofa. Her boyfriend for example.

Even an injured Hasek would be an upgrade over nerves-of-juice Manny Legace. Regarding the Oilers I'm very curious about the current talk of Mikhnov/Sykora. There's been a lot of Sykora talk lately, but I figure they don't really want to pick up both of them (unless someone else is being shipped off in a D-man deal) and that's why it's taking so long. Tractor Boy should be top priority, and I assume that Sykora only comes to Edmonton if a Mikhnov deal doesn't happen this year or if someone like Torres is about to be used as trade bait.

Americans too fat for X-rays
Are you talking to me? Are you talking to me?! 'Cause if you are, well technically what I did was an MR and I suppose they aren't the same thing, but I did an X-ray too only that one didn't require any shots and also you didn't get pushed into a giant toilet-paper roll. It was fun. And fat people can do them too.

This one should give some of you second thoughts in certain situations.

Actually that reminded me of some vintage interaction between us that I had to spend a significant amount of time to dig up because it fits so well (I guess you put the picture back in, but anyway).

Picture Thread 2006
This thread is so great. Now I don't have to imagine people as being hot anymore; I just need to look at their hot pictures (especially Nartwak's most recent one)! Edit: Hey, where did it go?! You silly man you!

Americans too fat for X-rays
I did one of these X-rays recently and I can tell you that it's no pleasant business. They insert a needle into your arm to inject some sort of contrast fluid, and I still had to adjust the headphones for my little radio (that I couldn't hear anyway because the friggin' machine is so loud) myself, so something must have gone wrong because I had the hugest bruise on my arm for two weeks where the needle had been. Also I don't envy claustrophobes and certainly not people who are too fat to fit into the thing and have their scans postponed and stuff. But worst of all is the time you have to wait before the scan and the time after, waiting for the results.

That's actually quite gross, Kor. Nice one!

What are you thinking?
I had a bike stolen in the quietest area imaginable. You're never safe from bike thieves, but I did get it back (it rocks having three cops for neighbours) after a while, albeit stripped for parts. That's when I called Bicylce Repairman.

It's hardly a secret that Peca looks to end up out east, I just don't understand how it would become Toronto, but seeing as how Toronto get linked to every player on the market it's hardly a big surprise. Just a stupid rumour.

NHL
Everyone's going to Toronto... I have a hard time believing Peca will end up in Toronto when he probably has better options. I thought he wanted to win a Cup, so I'd even think Edmonton has a bigger chance of signing him than the Leafs.

Happy Birthday, Ringo!
His name is McCartney and not McCarthy. He has also got this idea into his head after George died that he wrote half of "Something" and other not so classy things.

Happy Birthday, Ringo!
He actually turned 64 just a couple of weeks ago (just like in the song!). His wife wasn't invited to the celebrations.

Happy Birthday, Ringo!
I have a special relation to the Beatles, and today the coolest drummer in rock'n'roll turns 66! Ringo is also very underrated, but listen to songs like "Rain", "Tomorrow Never Knows", "Come Together", and "The End" to find some gems in a catalogue that needs no further introduction. Happy B-day, Mr. Starkey!
