  1. Chris Avellone says that "six or seven planets" is "kind of an unfair categorization"! From my point of view he isn't only talking about non-world locations (as a starship) but rather about locations you could define as planets but nevertheless aren't. If Dxun for example isn't on the Ebon Hawk's galaxy map, so it isn't a "planet" in this terminology. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Is on the galaxy map" would be a fair way to define "world" I suppose, athough that would omit Taris from the first game and the Star Forge and unknown world would count as 2. Whilst you might have to go via Onderon initialy to get to Duxn it will probably appear on the map later so you could fly directly and save time if you have to revisit. Telos and Citidel might function the same way.
  2. "locations that aren't really the planets themselves"!! Onderon and Dxun could be counted as one. There is maybe only a quick shuttle trip for a few credits. I think "planet" means that there is a space port where you can approach with the Ebon Hawk. So are there 2 or 3 planets left? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would imagine "six or seven" depends on if you count Onderon and Duxn as seperate locations, although he may be thinking of Peragus. I think the non-world locations are Citidal station, a Sith warship and the secret hiding place of the jedi.
  3. Force Clarvoyance has been mentioned but wasn't featured in the ign preview. Maybe that is LS.
  4. I expect it will work differently to Valor, which boosts ability scores. It will probably give +1 to attack rolls, damage and saves for allies and -1 to attack rolls, damage and saves for hostiles. It will also influence the outcome of large scale battles through cut sceens and dialog.
  5. A developer said that Peragus was included in the count of 7. Onderon and Duxn count as 2 seperate worlds. That makes 5 confermed worlds Peragus Telos Dantoone Duxn Onderon So there are only 2 left with 4 reasonable candidates: Nar Shadda (NAR, screenshots) Haruun Kal (HAR) Coruscant (the mention of the empty jedi temple) Korriban (Revan disapeared there)
  6. I doubt HK would reprogram the droids "for fun". He might do it if it was the best way to carry out his assassination protocol, particularly if the target was a powerful jedi like Kreia. Alteritively, HKs assassination protocols could be downloaded to the Peragus droids by mistake.
  7. I hope he is not hostile. The thing is, if T3 was giving us the tutorial, then we need a translator. I don't think even Revan understood what T3 was saying, so I'd guess HK might be giving translation. This would make sense, since HK is more of a battle droid than a utilty droid. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Revan could understand T3. T3 isn't giving the tutorial, you are T3 in the tutorial. HK is probably the tutor.
  8. But since there is a finite number of feats and force powers there has to be a cap before the character runs out of choices. Reaching level 40 would only be fun if TSL was considerably more than twice as long as KotOR. I prefer to be immersed in the story, not leveling up every 10 minutes.
  9. All we know: More than 20. Speculation: cap raised to 30, but only likely to reach about 25 unless you do eveything and fight respawns repeatedly. Reasoning: Jedi base class special powers max out at 12th level, so will probably get prestege class at about this point, wich will probably be about half way through the game.
  10. I think the "Zabrek soldier" is the "silver armor guy" with a new skin and head, although I could be wrong, however a dev did say that the S.A.G. hasn't looked like he did in the vid for a long time now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you sure he didn't just mean the armour had been redesigned? The way the character was emphesised in the trailer looked like he was important. Tha Zarbrek looked like a completly different sort of character to me. An engineer or dock worker or something. I only suggested he was a soldier because he appears to have a heavy weapon and Canderous, being 20th level, may only be avalable late in the game. At a guess the Zarbrek is the character with the "pet".
  11. Canderous = silver armour guy is simply speculation on my part based on: 1) Similar build 2) rumour Canderous is in party 3) Silver Armour apparently party member (not a place holder because they feature in the trailer) 4) Siver Armour probably not a Force user 5) All other party slots used up The apprentice thing was when I and a few others where speculating about the party member affected by class and gender and we suggested that is was an apprentice, one of the developers said something like "you wouldn't be far from the mark". Unfortunately I can't find the original thread.
  12. It was "unofficially" confermed in a developer post (quite a while back).
  13. More than 10 characters, but a maximum of 10 avalable in any one playthrough. With the 4 possible apprentices my list includes 13 characters. My reason for supposing the romance is with an apprentice: we know that the choice of apprentice depends on gender. At first I thought that you would be assigned an apprentice with the same gender, but there is no evidence that either Jedi or Sith have such a policy. Hence it is more likely that your apprentice is the oppisite gender so you can romance them. The master-student relationship is said to be a major theme of TSL. That does not rule out a love triangle situation with Atris though.
  14. There seems to be enough data (and unrefuted rumour) floating around to make a reasonable guess at the full party composition. 1) Atton Rand: human male scoundrel 2) Kreia: human female jedi consular 3) Mira: human female scout 4) T3: utility droid 5) HK: protocol/assassin droid 6) Atris: human female jedi guardian from Onderon 7) Canderous Odo: Mandalorian human male soldier (now wears silver armour) Male Zabrek soldier 9) Male non-human jedi sentinal 10) Your apprentice/padawan (1 of 4: male or female sith or male or female jedi) The romance is with your apprentice.
  15. It has been mentioned that certain characters may alignment shift in the opposite direction to the PC if they don't like you very much. Maybe that refers to Atton.
  16. The Zabrek is certainly lightside. Look at the Force Sight image.
  17. He does look a bit dweeby in grey coveralls and baggy pants. Not a jedi I think.
  18. It makes sense to me. It's what I figured, a kind of "unreliable narrator" device.
  19. If my theory is correct HK-47 would not be a party member at the start, just giving instructions to T3 (you). When the action switches to the PC it will probably be some time before you get back to the Ebon Hawk and add T3 to your party. HK might be their too, but I suspect he may be hostile.
  20. Hopefully. I wonder what PER and HAR are. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm guessing PER is Peragus? Not sure what HAR is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Perhaps HAR is Haruun Kal in the Al'Har system. This planet can be found in the starwars.com databank and looks interesting. There is even a reference for RPG stats.
  21. I thought that myself, as a nod to episode IV. Holographic Revan: "Help me PC name you're my only hope!"
  22. He said a HK type droid, but didn't rule out HK-47. It's semantics designed to obfuscate.
  23. From what I have been able to gather this is the complete colour list for TSL: Light red (pink) dark red light orange dark orange light yellow dark yellow light cyan dark cyan light green dark green light blue dark blue light violet dark violet white silver Total 16.
