  1. HK-50s do not have a master. HK-50s do not protect anyone. In KOTOR 2 the HK-50s are tracking down the exile for the exchange. They POSE as protocol droids but they are really bounty hunters, all of them, including the one on the harbinger. HK was lying to the captain of the harbinger, lying to the maintenance officer on peragas, and lying to the exile. If you speak with HK right before you board the harbinger he will explain everything.
  2. HK was not programmed to protect the captain. HK was programmed to capture the last jedi and sell him/her to the exchange. He drugged the exile with Juma Juice and locked him/her into a storage compartment, and then HK started a chain reaction of events that crippled the harbinger. Kriea entered the harbinger, took the exile on board the ebon hawk, HK followed and somehow got locked into the storage compartment (the game never explains how, but you see HK break out if you do the tutorial), and finally when Kriea, HK, and the exile are on board the ebon hawk the harbinger, now controlled by the sith, fire on the ebon hawk (it was attacked twice). Somehow the ebon hawk gets away (that is never explained either) and T3 wakes up in an asteroid field.
  3. No, if get him to agree to lay off the ithorians then you will never see him again.
  4. What your saying doesnt make any sense. You are either helping the ithorians or czerka. Wiping out everyone in the exchange does not prevent you from getting the ebon hawk back. It helps get it back. Just keep playing. Like I said, you will progress in the game by either helping czerka or the ithorians.
  5. I dont think they are lying. There are so many bugs in this game, and there are probably different bugs in the PC version then in the xbox version. When you are reading an influence guide check to see what version of the game they wrote it for.
  6. Another problem is when the @#$% door closes before the npc makes it inside.
  7. I think the best part of kotor 2 is the number times you have to play as other characters. Its more challenging and forces you to divvie up the goods instead of arming the exile to the teeth.
  8. There are two solutions for the puzzle, both of which work every time. 13 * 1 or 13 / 1 is still 13. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Technically there is one solution, dividing or multiplying by one is the same operation. Its called multiplicitave identity. I just couldnt resist. Im a math major, and how many times do you get a math question on this forum.
  9. Ive gotten that glitch before too. I never run from revan. I stand my ground and fight him. So it cant be that. The glitch is when you fight all of your party members the door doesnt open and kreia just stands there. If you talk to her the fight with the party members starts all over again. Its a loop problem. Save the game before you go into the cave and save the game again before you enter the room with kriea. reloading at one of those places should fix it.
  10. Bao is hard to talk to. I have a savegame editor and can max out his influence and still have trouble talking to him. I dont think its a glitch I just think the designers made it way to hard to convert him. This leads me to another question. Do you use armor for mira or atton? I usually let them keep their clothes and raise their dex.
  11. Do you convert your npc's to jedis? I never do because I find their skills and abilities of their original class are more handy, escpecially as they level up.
  12. If he has the same type of editor I have then you can shift anyones alignment from 0 to 100, 50 is nuetral. Some characters will bounce back like Kreia to 50, but you can change anyones alignment. As long as you are maxed out (0 or 100) and you change the other characters alignment in the same direction you should not have a problem, with the exception of Kriea.
  13. He only asks for a few credits to get the password. He wants thousands to tell the exchange about you. DONT PAY FOR THAT. You will have no trouble meeting the exchange without his help.
  14. I am in the TSF cell completely stripped of all gear except the comlink and clothes. Atton and Kreia are dead from the looks of it since "remains" comes up when I cursor over them, we are in those cylinder containment fields meaning I cant even reach the remains or anything. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You definitely have a problem. Kreia and atton should not be bodies. They should be awake and standing. A person should enter and speak to you. I dont want to say more because ill spoil it for you. If you start off in the cell with the other two as bodies then your game needs to be reloaded from an earlier point. Kotor 2 has a lot of bugs like that and the only way to fix it is to reload from an earlier point so save often.
  15. Your half right. The only way to alter the force points is to match theirs to yours. If you want visas to be 100 light then you also need to be the same or else the second you play with her in your party she will shift towards your force level. Also, an interesting glitch in altering the savegame: If you change Atton's force points to 100% light he will have dark side corruption showing on his face. Its wierd but doesnt affect his alignment.
  16. I think here name was Traya, but she changed it after getting kicked out of malachor. The game mentions three sith lords, one of hunger, one of pain, and one of betrayal. Traya is betrayel, sion is pain, and the other guy with the mask is hunger (His name is rarely mentioned and I can never remember it).
  17. I believe that he is just a tool that gives you the plasma torch and starts the conversation with Kriea. Thats all the body is meant to do. If he/she was part of the plot Im sure T3 would have run into him/her in the prelude.
  18. OK, I just got that...But she won't upgrade my NAME crystal. Does that mean I can't upgrade it anymore? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your named crystal should become more light or dark depending on how many light side and dark side points you earn.
  19. Be sure to go to the docks first when you land on the planet. If you go to another area and move the quest forward (you can tell by seeing movies) then you will never finish repairing the speeder. Im pretty sure that you go in this order, docks, entertainment area, refugee sector. That will allow you to finish the speeder.
  20. Just to clarify, in case you dont know, you open my computer, right click on your cd/rom drive, and click open. Then click on the install launcher.
  21. The mandalorians do tell you that the droid is not fully functional.
  22. I never turn anyone into a jedi. I find that they are much better advancing in their own class than trying to use a lightsaber or force powers at low level. Particularly Atton who becomes a very good pistol fighter if you let him. I always take visas mar, Mira and T3 to the sith tomb. T3 can slice the turrents and the droids, Mira can walk through the mines, and Visas can use lightsabers and force powers. I never have any trouble.
  23. Did you strip off everything and get rid of your weapons before fighting her?
  24. Its happened to me a few times. I also get holograms of people standing in the ebon hawk when it happens. When you first land on the planet create a new saved game. That way when the main quest gets screwed up you can start the planet over. This is especially important for Nar Shadaa. If you dont do everything perfect and in the right order you cannot complete all of the side quests.
  25. I like how the issue of the force bond just gets totally overlooked and left out. The bond just dissapears without any comment, explanation, or reason. The whole ending was an abortion. It is stupid and unsatisfying because it was never finished. I can understand running out of time and removing the HK factory, but the ending is a crucial part of the plot and should not be cut out. That's probably why there is no KOTOR 3 in the works. How can it pick up where 2 left off?
