In my playthrough as male he didn't call Carth, because it was another admiral on the Sojourn. Of course, I declared Revan to be a female darksider, so Carth couldn't be an Admiral if he was cut down by the woman he loved.

She says that regardless of influence etc. It's just DS/LS related. I got the same answer and I had max influence with him DS. He expresses more irritation over you being Dark so it's not surprising that he'd leave you (even if he loved you) if you became the next Sith Lord or whatever...I guess. heh Edit - and I loved making Disciple feel the dark force spots. yeah, I did Dantooine right after Telos so that was his purpose for me too. And then Visas replaced Atton.
