  1. Revan is some kind of Julius Caesar or Napoleon. He goes out to war and creates an army loyal to *him*. After that he gets back and attacks the Republic. Even if he then returns to LS and fights for the Repulic, IMO he will always be tainted by his treason.
  2. You forgot the part from the HK-50's on the Telos Polar Cap (same as the one 1B-8D sells) The pacifist package is for sale with the Rodian Seller in the Nar Shaddaa Trade War Bonus Mission after stabalising 2 planets (being Dantooine and Onderon) for her as Telos seems to be broken (fix at Gizka, but I wonder IF it opens up more here)... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry to bother you guys further with this issue but I really want to make it work next time I play K2. Regarding Trade War mission, does that mean that I have to accept the mission the Duros trader gives me even if I'm LS? AFAIK he wants me to kill the Rhodian woman trader.
  3. Trade Routes quest? I've already played the game several times but never came across that one. Do I have to finish Goto's ship first?
  4. Ok. Guess that answers the question. :"> All the time whether LS or DS I was wondering what I was missing.
  5. Question: Where do you get all that stuff? And where do you get the HK pacifist module?
  6. Last time I played Kotor2, I remember seeing a not yet learned empty space in the Force powers list. I got Visas' Force vision, Kreia's beast trick, Handmaiden's special and the enlightment of the light side or whatever that thing's name is that allows you to activate speed and two others at once. What am I missing?
  7. I agree. Vash was quite eager to exile the PC. I voted Zhar for the same reason somebody stated earlier.
  8. Too true. Yeah, leaving Atris behind to die at the hands of the Sith holocrons is a lame end for the love story that never was.
  9. Yep, Atton is romanceable or actually he considers the female PC romanceable. <_< I (male) tried playing as female PC once. Let's just say that now I know how women feel when guys try to use their cheesy and/or sleezy pick up lines on them. EDIT: The force thingy you can learn from Handmaiden rules.
  10. I guess not every company can be like Paradox Interactive, they produce buggy games but also 4+ patches for each of their games. The last LA game I bought before K1+2 was Star Wars Rebellion, several years ago, and now I remember why.
  11. AFAIK there's a "skip Peragus" mod out there somewhere.
  12. If you think I meant that complaining *now* that we already shelled out $50 for kotor2 would make them publish a new patch, then you're mistaken. I wasn't very clear but what I wanted to say is, it could convince them to sell a game more finished like kotor1 than the player = beta tester game that is kotor2.
  13. IIRC it's enough to beat Malak because the others disappear as soon as Malak is beaten. Or am I thinking of another scene?
  14. Quite a lot it seems. But I don't remember 2,3 and 10 on the ship. Guess I never enraged Handmaiden enough.
  15. Customers = Money. If many complain, then it might actually work.
  16. There *is* a difference between killing and murder and IMO that's exactly what this side quest is all about. The difference is not so clear cut in this case. If the fact that the victim couldn't fight back makes Sunry a murderer, then waging war is by definition murder because you always try to get into a situation where your enemy's capability to fight back is limited while you blast him. And since I don't think you want to go there, it is quite hypocritical to call Sunry a murderer and Carth, Revan et al. heroes.
  17. Thanks, Kal. Er, #2 means the guards at the spaceport (to enter the marketplace), right?
  18. If Sunry should fry for killing one Sith, then I (LS Revan) should do so several times for killing a boatload of Sith up until then. And on top of that Revan was even a traitor but gets a medal at the end (LS). Punishing Sunry for killing a Sith while we/the Republic are/is at war with the Sith doesn't sound like just to me. On the other hand he is a murderer because it all happened on a neutral planet and not in combat, meaning that he isn't innocent. No matter how you look at it, the result will not be fair/just and thus as a patriot of the Republic I try to get him off. Verdict: Not guilty (not: innocent), and the Sith getting punished for obfuscating justice is the icing on the cake.
  19. Nope I mean the long exchange between Atton and Handmaiden when that guy just before refugee sector approaches you about giving him the Ebon Hawk. Reload game and check it out, its priceless and nothing in K1 even compares to it PS: but Baos comment was damn funny as well <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Atton & Handmaiden? It seems I have been missing that one. I always had the impression that NPC-NPC interaction while walking around was almost non-existant in KOTOR2 unless at special places with "forced" characters. Do you guys know a link/walkthrough where these places and involved people are stated? I'd really like to go on a "hear them talk among themselves" voyage next time I play Kotor2.
  20. I tried to search the invisible helmet mod for KOTOR2 but couldn't find it. Could somebody tell me where you found it?
  21. Thanks Vashanti. Didn't think that finding lightsabre parts was considered spoiler. Ooops. :">
  22. As I already said, I did use the search function but I got some threads about Japanese swordsmanship and crystal colors. I usually do all side quests but the reason I ask is that I wand a lightsabre before I am summoned to the Jekk Jekk Tarr (sp?). After a certain point you get the call from Atton (or T3?) and can't do anything else.
  23. 36? The best I could do was 30, close to the end. How/where do you get that many XP? I usually do all the available dialogues too, but I never got more than lvl 30.
  24. Hi all, I have two questions regarding lightsabres: 1. Where on Nar Shaddaa do you get the two missing components to build your first lightsabre? I intend to visit Nar Shaddaa first in my next game and if I remember correctly you get one part from Chodo Habat on Citadel Station. 2. In my last game some time ago I found a boat load of short sabres but hardly a standard lightsabre. I could equip all my jedi with short sabres and have some spare ones, while only one NPC other than myself had a standard one. Was it just bad luck or are there too many short sabres in KotoR2? If it's the latter, is there a mod to address this? I couldn't find anything despite using the search function.
