  1. I am level 10 and I have Durance, 10 wizard with level 5 and 6 spells, but I cannot find a spell that allows me to PETRIFY my enemies! I looked all over and so many people recommend using it, but it is nowhere to be found!?! OK, I researched and it says Gaze of the Adragan spell does the petrification, but I am level 10 and I do not have it. Can it be found in someone's Grimoire? Otherwise its so damn unfair for people to advice to "petrify" enemies in order to defeat them when you are level 9 or 10 and don't have that spell. I think I should just cheat and get this spell to balance the game for me.
  2. So.... where exactly do you find Persoq? Is it important for Sagani to be in your party during conversations with him? Where the hell is Pearwood Bluff??
  3. Here are the quests I have left aside from the 2 main quests left - pray to Gods and travel to Burial Isle: - 4 Bountie's on 4 monsters - Finish traveling and talking to Durance to figure out whatever needs to be figured out about him - Finish traveling and talking to Grieving Mother to figure out the weird dream - Finish Endless Path (have not even started that one yet) + quests within, like the magic seal quest + do it with Kana - Forge the Broken Sword from 4 pieces found in Endless Path - Get 3 birds for someone in Twin EIlms (Song of the Wild) - Kill Raedric - the Fampyr version - Deal with the Dragon for Helya's Temple - Reach the cliffs (The Long Hunt) and find Persoq - a quest from Sagani - Any quests I might find after returning to Defiance Bay after its rebuilt from all the burning after Duc's assassination If I complete those - will I get to level 12? I hope to be level 12 before I face Raedric again. He was real tough at level 9. The Long Hunt quest I highlighted - where is Persoq and the cliffs? I have NO idea where to look. I opened up all the maps and searched through every cave, except for the Endless Path. I only have 6 days to finish the game before Witcher 3 arrives!
  4. Someone told me that right after you reach Twin Elms, Defiance Bay becomes restored once again along with Heritage Hall. Is that so? Does Heritage Hall have content and/or new quests? Do any other parts of Defiance Bay have new content/quests after being restored? I completed ALL quests in Defiance Bay BEFORE Duc's assassination and all the burning.
  5. The one I was asked to kill in Twin Elms. Its top of the mountain. I have NOT prayed to the God regarding this quest, but I tried to attack it and the best I could do was "Barely Injured" at level 10, lol. My party was kept alive and functions for quite some time though.
  6. I got a LOT of unfishined business, from going into Endless Path to taking care of that huge Dragon to getting my bounties! Can the final stage of the game be completed at level 10 without much difficulty?
  7. I did not have high enough to resolve to settle it peacefully, so I obliterated them all to Kingdom Come!
  8. Am I that close to the end of the game??? I am just level 10 and did a few quests in Twin Elmsp. I am only 47hrs into the game... What is the level cap?
  9. Can I select only one single God to pray to in Twin Elms or can I select several? I know I want to complete the Dragon quest, which requires me to pray to one of the Gods, but I do not know if that is the God I want to pray to IF I can only select one. How do I figure which God to pray to anyway? What are the short-term consequences? I do NOT want to know the ending or anything like that!
  10. After I received the quest to find Alwah in Noonfrost, I went there and all NPC's there were friendly. I save my game when NPC's are still friendly. Then, I sneak around and if someone notices me in the wrong place, then they become my enemy. Then I load my previous savegame, where everyone was still friendly (before I did any sneaking), BUT ALL NPS' turn into enemies, even if at the point of my savegame, I haven't ventured further than the main hall! Its a definite bug. How do I go around it? Is there a way to find Alwah without starting a carnage in Noonfront? I got as far as the upper-western room with a really nice staff. That room also has a secret floor trigger than opens up a wall, where some ritual is performed... If I talk to anyone there, guards become enemies.
  11. They didn't build it 'on top of the old infinity engine'. It's built using Unity. The crappy pathfinding has nothing to do with the Infinity Engine. As for the 2.5D graphics, that was one of the major points of doing the game. Wasn't Unity based off Infinity engine? One way or another, both engines have path finding problems.
  12. If my tank get's stuck behind the party in some narrow corridor, the party AI is incapable of letting the tank through by moving around. That is horrible. Why developers chose to build this game on top of the old Infinity engine beats me, let alone the choice of 2.5D graphics...
  13. Were there any addition changes that were not listed in the 1.05 beta patch preview? It also seems like this patch made the game easier, something that shouldn't have been done IMHO. Once you figure it out, it becomes easy on Normal mode, but Hard mode is still too hard for me.
  14. Boo, so much for that quest. I have no idea where I sold that spear, but it was lame to only be able to enchant that specific spear and not any other weapon or armor...
  15. Obviously there is NO perfect party. I was exaggerating. I was just curious what other people thought was the best party combination for whichever gamestyle they used.
  16. What is your opinion on that? I think my character, Godus (Death Godlike Wizard), Aloth (Elf Wizard), Durance (Human Priest), Kana (Weirdo Chanter), Eder (Human Fighter-Tank), and Pallagina (Godlike Paladin-Tank) is the best you can get. Eder + Pallagina tanking up front, Kana shooting and Durance in the middle (so Durance's spell affects the whole group - front, middle, back) and Godus + Aloth in the back casting away! Nothing can stop me! I wish I could have Salami or whatever the name of the gnome-rogue with white wolfy, because she can detect secret doors, detect traps, and she tastes good, but Stealth not as important as getting through tough enemies! Does Stealth and detecting secret doors, triggers, etc. EVER lead you to some EPIC weapon/armor/item that is unreachable in any other way???
  17. Is that the only spear I can upgrade? Can I upgrade my other weapons and armor? I sold the damn Spear - to hell with it. I want MOAR DAMAGE with my other weapons.
  18. Ah, cool, thank you! If I need to be level 12, then can I at least take care of SOME baddies to level up or will I barely gain experience by doing just a 2-3 floors?
  19. Meredith? Oral? What? I killed a lot of people. I massacred the house Du....Du...Dau.. whatever the name of one of the representatives before Duc - The Crucible Knights, the Adventure Hall "knights", and then there were the Du.. Ducaen House. They were mad at me for not siding with them as I protected that shady merchant, right before the God-like paladin Vagina joined. I had terrible reputation with them. Right before it was time to go to Duc, I went into their house and without mercy KILLED THEM ALL and it FELT GOOD! My character is neutral or chaotic neutral. I do what I find satisfying, which is mostly helping people, but sometimes I go crazy on the side if I don't like someone. Like, the Engwythan Machine - I decided to get Might+ and become more powerful by consuming the energy and letting some prisoners the top of the tower is safety. After all, I am the Hero of the story and sometimes some must be sacrificed for the Hero to become more powerful to make the world a better place! THAT or I am simply justifying killing those prisoners, which I'd rather release, but the greed for more ENERGY was stronger!
  20. I am level 9, I completed 99% of side-quests in Acts I & II, and now I just started Act III. I find Elmshore to be a bit difficult with all the giants, so I figured maybe it is about time I do the Endless Patch and level up a bit? At which level is rather easy to complete Endless Path? I do not mind a challenge, but I do not want an overly difficult dungeon either. At which level is it advisable to complete ALL of it? Another problem I ran to is that I started Act III and it appears all of Defiance Bay has gone to tell. It was the only place where I could re-forge that sword, but I never found the 2nd or however many pieces needed for it. I could re-forge it in The Crucible Keep, but I assume it is gone and done at this point? Where were the other parts? Was the sword really powerful, worth making?
