    Actually it's first person shooters I hate in general, but the x-box thing still stands.

    except for the fact that bush really doesn't have anything to do with enforcement of this. my guess is that he doesn't even know anything about it. the secret service routinely investigates a myriad of issues daily. to presume that they inform the president of every little violation is ridiculous.

    Understandable that Bush doesnt know what happened, but he doesnt know anything that happens half the time. I quoted "issues daily" in red because The Onion has had to have been running for at least a few years, right? Why try to prevent the paper from using the seal now? Why not when the paper was started?

    Story path/direction in relation to K1

    So in KoTOR trilogy(if there is another one) the main focus should stay wih Revan

     

    I was dishearted by the fact that K2 concentrated on a new jedi, while the story of Revan was pretty much left unanswered.

     

    If it was me I would have Started K2 with Revan at Peragus instead of the exile.

    Yes, focus should have stayed with Revan. The Exiles history and story was a little strange/sketchy, but since they have also left his story somewhat open, they must include both the characters. I said before that a two sided storyline would be cool. (One Revan, One Exile), with different quests for each one, but both have one main goal. Even a dual PC would be an interesting idea. Anything is possible at this point...

    Defacing coins and bills, thus turning legal tender into waste, reduces the amount of money in circulation and should therefore be counter-inflationary.  So it's actually good for the economy, and the people who do it should get medals, albeit small ones.

    Maybe you were joking, but defacing one, a hundred or a thousand coins doesnt matter. The amount of money in circulation is always under a careful tally, and it is replaced/refilled to a certain point. Thus, it will never affect the inflation rate. One of the main factors of inflation is the number of people in the country and value of the currency on the world market.

    didnt lucasarts fire obsidian, and is going back to bioware for knights of the old republic 3?

     

     

    KOTOR 3 was introduced "announced" in a PC gamer articule in september or august.

    I thought Lucas Arts was going back to Bioware as well, but I cant remember where I read it. Could you possibly explain a little more on what the article said if you happen to have it handy? Right, also post it in the right topic. (if its not moved a moderator wil likely move it.)

    I really sympathize with people who are trying to run the game on older video cards. I used to have the same problems, I ended up not playing games on my pc anymore. All is well that ends well though.. I love my new PC.

     

    Right, i forgot to suggest a solution. Try disabaling the videos for a while from the options screen. Enable them later to see if it is only the restoration movie that is having problems.

    Not a single shred of DS when I smashed the eggs. They are there for crystals and I was dissapointed to say the least when there was nothing in the eggs in KOTOR II. I dont think this can be blamed on cut content, a simple matter of adding the eggs to the loot generator programming.

    ok then I guess the question that needs to be asked is what the hell is M4-78 suppost to be? I mean if it has nothing to do with the driod plant then what is it just another single story element that got cut or did it really hold the key to finally understanding the whole Damn story? It would be nice if it completed the story.... well atleast as far as is possible without the intended ending.

    M4-78 must be just another planet where you find a Jedi Master (Vash) probably nothing significant happened, so obsidian figured this would be an easy way to cut down production time. Why then did they make modules and dialogue for it?

    Actually, you have the files needed to play the droid factory and M4-78, the PC version doesn't have those modules in it's files.

     

    Anyway, the Droid Factory is under that military base on Telos, and is where HK discovers and reprograms the HK-51s to follow him and their true purpose.

    Other people have said this too, but it doesn't make any sense to me. Why put the factory on telos when you dont have the pars required for HK-47 yet and when HK-47 is running, there is no option to return to the Czerka restoration zone. Plus there is a whole planet of droids that got cut from the game. It seems logical the Factory would be on M4-78(i think it is called) Maybe I missed some info...

    KOTOR had one of the most shallow stories I have heard of outside the NWN OC and Terry Brooks novels.

     

    KOTOR II had a deeper story, which suffered because the ending fell off a cliff and what was left took some thinking to understand. (Which is why many people complain, not all like to think a lot while playing games, personally I liked it.) It was like the author died as he was 75% the way through writing it. Both games left some things to be desired in terms of the story.

     

    Gameplay wise, KOTOR II improved over much of what KOTOR had and added a few, though only semi-sucessful things of its own. Though both were way, way, way to easy.

     

    IMO KOTOR II was slightly better. Unfotunatly it had G0-T0 as well.

    Firstly, I thought the KOTOR I storyline was much more complete than the second.

    Secondly, KOTOR II may have had some better battle animations but KOTOR I ran without problems and glitches every five minutes. KOTOR I was polished, KOTOR II felt like more of a rough cut, if I might say.

     

    Edit: oh yes it was very inconvenient having GO-TO in the second game. SeeGabrielles previous post above

    Oh, come on now.  It was beginning to be rather humourous.

    I always thought it was funny from the start

     

    And for the record this is not my first day on these forums, as I used to be this guy

    But it was a phase of western movies that I have now gotten tied from the I choosen to start again with my nickname that I am called at home.

     

    And I have tried to set things right with Servant, he even thought I was cool once

    proof

     

    So the truth is now known I only hope that I can be loved once again like I was with my old name :'(

    Didnt see that coming...but seriously, no one can get to pcgamemods.com right now(that i am aware of) and people post questions like that on obsidians forums because every word that is typed here comes up in every search engine. Just talking about it more makes more people come to the site. Either way, i dont care if new people come, its what they bring to the table that counts

    15- And what About the "Return to Ebon Hawk" or "Transit" buttons? It's even mentioned in the on-line manual! What happened?

     

    Yeah, I had the same question. It was even in the booklet that came with the game. They do make up for it some what with the module transit on Telos, the crappy speeder on Nar Shadda, the officer on Onderon, and the Madalorian scout on Duxn.

    But still it really would have been nice to have the transit.

    The game book also mentions something about a "defensive" stance for your party members. i never saw it in the game. Too bad, i would have used it when my npc's wandered off too much. Stationary stance was pretty much useless.
