I'm loving all the info from the devs about this random patch we got. Look at all this information! Oh man. Such communication, much wow.

What the hell did we just download? Devs?!

Has no one else gotten this random secondary update? (restart steam or manually start the update, you should get it)

My game just updated again, what was changed this time? I can't find the content of this update anywhere. (7:30pm at the time of the random update)

Would someone mind chiming in? Has anyone else tried to make a ranger with the wolf companion since the new patch?

I just started a ranger and chose the wolf companion. His starts are still the placeholder stats (all 10).

Incredibly annoying that Mac has not received a single response on this yet. We have shroud. Why don't we have capes. Devs?!

Some buffs to dwarves wouldn't be bad. I was on the verge of making a dwarf but humans even though they aren't the best seemed much better overall. Just throwing it out there (At least make one sub dwarf race competitive)

Yeah definitely get this game, WHEN IT'S FIXED :D And no, they just told us what we guessed, that it's coming sometime soon. We're all in the dark.

How sad that a thread like this exists. The game has incredible potential, but the current state is, as i mentioned, sad.

Pretty surprising how this isn't fixed in the beta. If there ever was a game breaking bug Id say it's this, and it seems to be a recurrent phenomena. Just...surprising.

They mentioned for Linux it's because Linux doesn't support shroud. But Mac OS does. And devs haven't said a thing about the issue on Mac yet. Still checking the forums regularly for an update on this issue.

If you use the console to teleport you will disable your achievements. While you might not care for them, some people do.

I'm playing on a Mac and no capes either. Mac supports Shroud. Why can't we see them? An answer would be appreciated as this makes no sense given your earlier answer.

So far I have been effected or heard of multiple critical bugs. These include: Getting my character stuck in Raedric's castle. Losing stats due to the double click bug. Having to change anti-aliasing after every transition. (not a bug maybe, but i know it'll be coming as a fix) Some abilities applying its effect in a loop. (rogue's reckless assault) Characters getting massive stat boosts due to location and saving issues. The keep randomly removing buildings you have built. Rangers losing their companions. I'm sure you've heard of some or most likely more than these, or have encountered them yourself. My point is, we (the majority who have been effected from these issues, I know some people fortunately have not encountered them yet) are in DESPERATE need of help. As exciting and enjoyable it was, I have currently shelved the game (such a shame too because i just started spring break last Thursday, this was perfect timing) and will not try again until It gets a patch. TL;DR Amazing game, bug lots of bugs, some critical, requires patch yesterday. Question is, when will this patch arrive? I don't know when Obsidian patches their game, but I got my game on Thursday, and haven't seen an update since. If anyone knows, please chime in. I'm in the dark. I want to continue my journey before I stop caring for the story and my character/companions.
