I'm going to explain this once, which you will no doubt ignore. How high is the possiblity of there being an actual killing spree against men by "SJWs"? Ok, how many times has the panic defense actually been used by murder defendants? Also, are you going to post here again or did you make an account just for that? You know it says in the article you linked all but one attempt at that failed? And I find it funny that you're claiming the defense "It's just a joke" for #KillAllMen, but are asking for this JOKE to be pulled here. It reeks of double standards. I'm honestly convinced Arouet is trolling after reading these past few pages. You and me. It's funny how you keep saying that everyone in this thread is so bad, yet so far the most hateful person here is you... It´s even funnier, considering most people have explained very well whats the problem but it gets ignored by him/her. She/he didn´t explain anything in this post but tried to play down the death threats from that insane person. Oh and brought in legal cases (which have nothing to do with the joke and the censorship problem) as an argument, obviously not reading it well enough to realise most of them failed anyway.

How do know they don't want the joke in the game? Explain to me why bigotry in the game's world, a fantasy construct, should affect you. Explain to me why pulling a dumb joke offends you so much. Over and over again, this is what I hear: "They can't do that to our pledges! Only we can do that to our pledges!" Because it would be self-censorship, likely based on social pressure from a loud minority who reads too much into it. It would not offend me, but it would set a again a bad example and a case that these people (and its always the same) can pull of this stunt everytime they want and it will happen again, this time its a joke, next time maybe something more important to the game. Only to avoid drama with horrible people. This gets a clear no from me and should not be hard to understand.

Sure. But again They already approved it so they never thought it was bigoted in any way. I can handle a developer not wanting something in . But I can not handle people who believe they can change something that was created by an artist just because they don't like it and then put social pressure to get it removed. And Honestly I am sick of these people. Be offended as much as you want but never force your morals on others. Exactly, i wish more people would realize that but forcing believes and morals on others has always been there, its something that shapes societies most of the time. (directly and indirectly) As for the thread, so far it has been mostly civil and i think there is a clear support for Obsidian to just not getting bullied/shamed/pressured (call it what you want) into something they may not want to do because of internet and possible biased game journalistic drama.

Nothing new here. I have spoken out about her before, she is irrelevant. The only way she or her followers can stay in the spotlight is thru this kind of drama. On the other side we have TB, who for the most part makes very logical and subjective analysis and thats the reason why he can reach such a big audience. Again i hope Obsidian doesn´t follow the route of self-censorship because some twitter psycho, who openly drives a "killallmen" campaign is butthurt, but also not because an irrelevant fraud like Alexander spits her venom around.

Several reasons: - I like the world of Divinity, i find the setting very interesting and have so far played every game in the series. - Larian is a great studio, they often have problems when launching a game but work hard to fix those. Without publisher pressure and a strict deadline the managed to mostly avoid these problems. - I found the idea of 2 main characters appealing and it worked great. - I like Larians humor in their games. - Tactical turn based combat system that includes the environment and it worked great. - The immersion in the game worked very well for me, the art, npcs, dialogues, story (while not that great) and what a fantastic soundtrack! I really enjoyed the game

Trying to get into the enhanced edition of BG 2. Not sure if it was worth the money though, mods still offer more...but anyway only 3 days left until i get my hands on Pillars. Soooo excited

By all means this was clearly a joke and humor is subjective. You have the right to be offended BUT it doesn´t give you any rights above that. Especialy not one that calls for removing it because you don´t like it. (thats how a little child would act) You have no saying in this, if Obsidian decides to remove it, its their call. However i will say this: IF they remove it, they can be expected to get bothered even more for other stuff in the game, we all have seen how that "SJW" group acts. Most people responding to this seem to have no problem with it whatsover. They would be cheating a backer out of his/her reward. They would anger more people by doing it. And the most important thing anyone should consider to give this some context: This was started by a person who by all means cries about female superiority, striking fear into men and "killallmen". I´m not making this up, look at her insane twitter. It doesn´t get more ridiculous than that and you want to agree with that person who clearly just WANTS to start a controversy where none exists? Think about that.
