  1. Lucky you. Recent pre-orders from MS Store will not download at all and MS is still stalling for an answer.
  2. In attempting to download the game I purchased from the MS Store, game app claimed I had no device linked to the MS Window app. MS Windows 10 begs to differ as it shows my PC linked. MS Agent attempted to resolve this issue only to come back with a server issue with no idea when it would be resolved. He "thought" maybe 24 hours or less. So, MS managed to blow up the download on release day.
  3. Purchased from MS store, game refuses to install, stating that my the game is not tied to any of my devices???
  4. Re: Epic Games launcher. I pre-ordered through Private Division but had a Microsoft conflict with the launcher download on Windows 10. They could not resolve the problem so I believe there is a possible problem for players new to the Epic Games launch platform. So, I immediately requested a refund from PD, which they just confirmed. Anyone out there that believes MS store is the best way to go at this point or is waiting a month or two a better option to wait and see how the game works out?
  5. Thanks for the reply. I'm giving clearance for installation so antivirus is not the problem. The error msg refers DIRECTLY to a Microsoft conflict yet none of their published fix suggestions work. And, Epic Games support has tried 2 avenues and they have also failed to work. Oh, I've been downloading directly from the Epic Games site as directed. Selected drive is my main drive and I have Direct X 12 support on my system. So far, the best option seems to be seek a refund or chargeback on my card and wait to see about purchasing down the line when more issues may be resolved with future patches. Or never, I guess.
  6. Well, I am having problems just trying to install the Epic Games launcher to my Win 10 system and their support has NO answers so I think there is a whole new set of problems for this upcoming game for those new to Epic or the Microsoft gaming systems.
  7. Game not released as yet. But, at least you have the Epic Games launcher. I cannot even download the launcher as I keep getting a Microsoft error message. Not sure it's an accident either since I purchased through Private Division and am stuck with the Epic Games portal (that, even with Support help, does not work.)
  8. Another issue from someone who pre-purchased directly from PD (not knowing which option was best anyway): my attempt to download the Epic Games launcher has continuously failed, with an error ascribing the problem to the Microsoft OS (I have Windows 10). How ironic. And, so far, neither Epic Games nor Microsoft has offered a viable solution. And now I understand the PD may be reluctant to offer refunds? Well, that's what the VISA chargeback should address if I find it necessary.
  9. Re: Private Division. They are forcing a download through the Epic Games launcher (Fortenite, etc,) In attempting to download the launcher and update it on my PC, Win 10 system I only get an error msg SU-PQR1603 which is a Microsoft system download error. Let the fun begin. MS first referred me to their Xbox division which, naturally, had no answer. So, I am waiting an answer from Epic Games support on how to address this issue so that I can download and play the game on Oct 25 (or after at this point). Good luck as we are dealing with Microsoft on this.
  10. Missed this someplace I guess but I cannot pass the sealed doorway on level 12 when asked.
  11. I feel lucky. BG was my into to RPG gaming and I loved it. I still have the original game/story manual that used to come out with many games and even researched the world with the D&D tabletop manuals. And I loved BGII and the Icewind Dale series. I do get what the devs were trying to do in PoE; recreate the feel of those earlier games that so many of us veteran RPG gamers loved. I have DA: Inquisition and love it except for the console controller concept that wears my hand/wrist/arm out each session. So I really looked forward to this one. Not perfect but amazing for a player backed game. it truly reflects a labor of love on behalf of the driving devs and I truly appreciate their good work. Oh (careful of envy) and I am retired, a widower and can spend as many hours as I please at my PC. Adventure on all!

  13. Same issue here. At some point after heading outside to the ramparts the game crashes when I attempt to re-enter. Hope someone has reported this as a bug that needs to be resolved in a future (hopefully soon) patch.
  14. Have played Chanter up to Stronghold very powerful class. But I would like to try a Druid so anyone who has played one so far, any feedback? I play on Hard+Expert so far.
  15. Since this forum has no easy search capability I will ask what might be a question already answered; Druid. Class looks interesting as a great support PC but how decent a class is it really? I am playing a Chanter (very powerful class) but would like to try a more versatile spell caster. And I play Hard+Expert if that makes any difference.
