  1. Saw the new Hobbit movie. It was good but for some reason the Hobbit movies haven't captivated me like the LotR movies. I don't even have the sound tracks for the Hobbit movies. The LotR I have all of the special releases of the soundtracks. The Hobbit scores are just ho hum. Well back to the movie. Nice to see a dwarven army in action. Have to wonder why the Thorin and his twits took theirs off before engaging in battle. Nice to see Galadriel actually wielding some great magical power when she went against the enemy. Too bad she never displayed anything like that in the LotR films. I like battles like the next person but I really dislike the stupid super power moves of some characters... ummmm Legolas.
  2. Started another game of Inquisition. There were some thing I missed in the tutorial and elsewhere in my first game. Maybe I'll bounce between this and Origins. Maybe.
  3. Tried using a gamepad on this game. As the saying goes, can't teach old dogs new tricks. Think I'll stick with keyboard and mouse.
  4. Bought a gamepad for my computer. http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/f310-gamepad Why waste money on a Microsoft X-Box pad when this will do the same thing.
  5. Now they're making a come back.
  6. Why is Denver sucking right now?
  7. Yes she is. All duty, very little sense of humor and when you catch her doing something that you wouldn't expect her to be doing, like reading someone's book, she gets embarrassed. Just like Sten getting embarrassed playing with a cat and eating cookies.
  8. I have 8Gigs of RAM and Inquisitions recommended RAM is 8Gs. I wonder if I should buy another 8. I do notice some slow downs after playing it a while.
  9. Still chugging along with DA Origins. I have a hard time replaying old outdated games that I've played so many times in the past. Sten, the dog and the dwarven areas is the only thing that keeps this game interesting. I wish there was a Sten type character in Inquisition. I like Iron Bull but he is no Sten.
  10. I miss having a pet dog as a follower.
  11. What a primitive game. Can't believe I used to play this over and over. I keep hitting the space bar to jump and forget this stupid game doesn't have a jump ability. *Sigh*
  12. Started Dragon Age Origins with the intent of using this story for Dragon Age Keep and do the same when I play a game of Dragon Age2. Wow its like going from a Mercedes (DAI) to beaten up Chevy (DAO).
  13. And the bosses found in main story missions were generally weak IMO. I'd say the hardest was the Behemoth you fight in Haven's siege. I was reading some topics at the Bio forum about this. I had him with my final fight with Cory and it appeared to me that Cory was directing a lot of his attacks against him. Was it because he is a mage or was it because of who he really is.
  14. Solas for some reason, reminded me of Vulcans. Not just the pointy ears, his mannerisms and logic.
  15. I won the game. I found the dragons to be more difficult than the end game bosses. Not complaining. Nothing can get in the way of my god like characters in games. End game after the credits, what was that about? Caught me off guard so I didn't catch it all.
  16. Opps lost Sera for good. Got into it with her and chose the Get Out dialog option. Thought that might have meant get out of the room not the Inquisition.
  17. The card game was a nice touch. Take a break from all of your worries.
  18. This topic was going great until recently, now I have to assume the moderator role. Lets get back on topic, shall we?
  19. He does roll over and die far too often. A big hulking brute who falls over dead when fighting dragons, funny. I had him in for two dragon fights. First one wasn't bad, the next one he kept dieing so out of my party in the other six dragon fights I've been in. Cassandra and Blackwall have been my dragon fighters since.
  20. I finally beat the Highland Ravager, the third dragon in Emprise. Several tries it took to finally take it out. I made some armor that gave my other party members resistance to fire and took control of the party mage, Solas for 3/4 of the fight. Half tempted to go back to the Storm Coast island and take another wack at that dragon, that has been the bane in my dragon killing quest.
  21. I hate that dragon. Have yet to beat it. I'm level 21 and still can't kill it. My character even did 5000+ damage to it once and it barely scratch its hit points and it didn't have any defenses up either. Cheating game. I beat that on hard with little trouble. What build are you using? Rogue who specializes in twin daggers with a minor in archery.
  22. That makes me sad because that is how I play a rogue, with two swords or a sword and dagger.
  23. I hate that dragon. Have yet to beat it. I'm level 21 and still can't kill it. My character even did 5000+ damage to it once and it barely scratch its hit points and it didn't have any defenses up either. Cheating game.
  24. Just remove the 2 then. The last topic didn't have a page number.
  25. Sera has that low class English accent that grates on the ears and can be hard to understand at times. I was going to romance her but that accent was a killer.
