  1. I saw that the Windows version got a patch on GOG (I guess with latest bug fixes), but not the Linux one. Is it also coming there?
  2. Still, it's quite close. Something in Blade Runner / cyberpunk syle would be more original (there was nothing like that recently). That reminds me: https://archive.org/details/msdos_Rise_of_the_Dragon_1990
  3. I actually don't like later Bethesda games. Their last good RPG was Morrowind, but I like both Witchers a lot. And I usually not that much into looking for best graphics ever, I'm more interested in the story. Of course I appreciate good graphics, but that's not what makes it or breaks an RPG for me. Story however does, and both Witcher games are excellent in that regard. As for 3D and isometric, both have their place and there are great examples in both types.
  4. Dune RPG sounds interesting, but I think there are a lot of crowdfunded isometric RPGs already and even more coming. While full 3D ones aren't that common (Underworld Ascendant is one coming example). Obsidian can experiemnt with both types. As for WOD / VtM, it's a pity all last projects were cancelled. Only this teasing trailer remained: https://youtube.com/watch?v=OEi7nQbNDog
  5. I personally think Obsidian shouldn't heed such complaints. This forced censorship is annoying. While it's not a joke that's appropriate in general, it's not wrong to have something like that in the story context. Characters and story are not equal to author's views on propriety.
  6. Just bought Pillars of Eternity on GOG. The game looks great so far, and runs very smoothly out of the box on Linux. I'll probably start a lengthy playtrhouh soon
  7. I'd like someone with serious experience to make a new RPG based on WOD / Vampire the Masquereade White Wolf probably shouldn't be against the idea.
  8. Did Obsidian actually confirm they'll continue crowdfunded games? They mentioned not long ago that several publishers approach them to fund their future projects. I hope it doesn't meany any of their future games will suddenly stop being DRM-free.
  9. I'm in the middle of replaying as a Malkavian (for the first time). It's a bit on hold though. Right now I'm playing GOG release of Outlaws in Wine after working around some nasty crashes there
