Ok, my current game is about the most screwed up I have had to date. My command que just cancels itself for no good reason and sometimes my guy just doesn't shift at all when he's having the life beaten out of him. Last night I posted about the mercs on Telos all wearing force masks, so my installment for tonight is this. I just got knocked out of the fighting area for the fight against the handmaidens sisters and on to my backside (this was the fight against two of them), the battle stopped and I was expecting "I knew you were no match for us bla bla bla...", instead I got "you know much of unarmed combat,perhaps too much bla bla bla......" and I won the frikin fight!!!!!!!! WTF... is this the most screwed up game going or what, I am starting to think my copy of it actually doesn't like me. So anyway just thought I would share that with you all, has this ever happened to any of you or other stuff like it? PS-just before it happened I tried to talk to Bao Dur in the middle of the fight, I wonder if that had anything to do with it?

I agree that really is quite strange, considering only Force-Sensitives can wear force masks if im not mistaken?! It must be a big bug, since AFAIK mercs aren't force sensitive <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think I have equipped these masks on non force sensitives before and in kotor 1 also, I think the force in their doesn't refer to the 'force',if you know what I mean. I couldn't take a screenshot either as I am on Xbox

I just got to the merc camp in the telos restoration project and every single one of them was wearing the force masks, I've played this game many times and never seen anything like this before. Has this ever happened to anyone else, is it like attons dialogue after you have played a certain amount of times or is it just one gigantic fluke?

I always felt sorry for him when he sparred with Vrook, no matter how cool it looked and he always ended up either dead or badly hurt. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just as I said when I started this thread, Vrook is darkside

I agree with the poster here, the characters are all somewhat lacking. One of the many things I loved about KOTOR 1 was the the feeling of cammaradarie I had with my companions. When playing DS I loved charging round the galaxy with my Mandalorian buddy Canderous (when you go to Tatooine fo the fight between him and the other Mandalorian It really feels like your almost Brothers in arms), and as for HK it was great having my own personal assassin droid who just wanted to blast anyone who annoyed me. Light side was just as great with Jollee Bindo (this guy is one of the best video game characters ever) and his grumpy old man exterior that just cant hide how much heart the guy actually has. None of the characters in KOTOR 2 made me feel any kind of chemistry with them and that was quite dissapointing.

But Atton by default believes Revan is female. I think the developers deliberately left the answer ambiguous. By the way, what does your lightsaber look like if you tell Atton you don't care? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It goes single hilt and whatever colour is associated with your Jedi class.

Ermm... could someone please explain where the DS version of the exile is standing next to Revan. The only time I see Revan is when he attacks with his dual light sabers, is it there and I have just been missing it?

Hmmm.... no tomb on Korriban, that actually worries me way more than the lack of prestige classes, well to hell with it I'm going to do it anyway in the spirit of Jollee Bindo and Kreia.

I'm considering playing the game as a neutral character. My questions are does this mean I wont get a prestige class ( I can live with that ) and also how does this affect things with Visas. I assume she has to show up sometime but usually dont you need to be about 75% light or dark? Also if anyone who has played the game this way wants to chip in with any general advice then please feel free.

Yeah what does it do thats actually any good, I got this and it gave me all the travel options which was no big deal, but also when it was activated my game just seemed to get really buggy, the screen would freeze during loading and depending where i selected to travel everything everything would go **** up. The whole galaxy droid thging was awful, and I had to revert to an earlier save game.

I always thought the loot was in the room where you get the ossus keeper robes, is there more?

I think its safe to say that 'Darth sleepswith vibroblades' isn't the sharpest tool in the box.

Well since I finally got round to joining a decent forum to discuss this game all the things I wanted to rant about are coming back to me. As the title says 'Vrook' or rather '

Just going for another playthrough (I'm trying really to appreciate this game in spite of everything) anyway, one of the most annoying things which I had forgotten about was when I target an enemy my two companions go straight for them, and I am lucky to get a hit in before they are dead. I realise that the exile has this effect whereby everyone follows his lead, but surely this could have been implemented so we are not all going for the same kill against a group of enemies. So my question is can I stop this happening, I realise I could go solo as much as possible but that isn't really in the spirit of this game. It just seems a bit cheap somehow as in K1 everyone seemed to get their own fight happening. Does anyone else find this annoying?

If you auto raise your party then maybe some get 'Empathy' which would explain the points in persuade.

I still get that dialogue when I play as a male.
